Ooooo, I fully disagree. THIS should have been movie Optimus from the beginning I think. But hey, I still do like the 2007 design . . . but I like this more. Great review!
Miss Olivia Hye Bumblebee is a Reboot, but it’s more like a Soft Reboot (The start & set-up to the Reboot), while the Sequel to Bumblebee will be the full fledge Reboot!!!
In my honest opinion, the designs of a lot of the characters from the Bumblebee movies are how they should've always looked in the live action movies. Modernized representations of their original G1 forms that are faithful, but are given the very realistic style of the Bay-verse robots that make them look unique.
"enough elements to keep the continuity going" dude the entire ending with Prime already on Earth and the Autobots follwing suit is already a massive retcon of the 2007 movie.
Not really. Theyre is a huge gap between the events in this movie and the one from 2007. In the 2007 movie, they didn't say it was their first time ever being on earth. In fact, subsequent movies said they had been coming to earth for years.
@@optibotimus Michael Bay never cared about consistency when it came to the story of the Bayformers movies, all he cared about was giving the robots a reason to fight and for explosions to happen. Besides that it didn't matter. I just commented on a Transformers figure review. What is my life.

It works alright with the older movies imo, Bay screwed up his own continuity a lot worse than this one would. But i prefer a reboot with this as a starting point. And for the love of Primus i hope they keep giving us Decepticons with actual personalities. I *love* Shatter and Dropkick.
At this point I just don't care anymore. Why bother using apologetics to fit this into a already messed up "continuity" or to saw its not? However this is part of the studio series toyline which does suggest that bumblebee is intended to be in the bayformers. In the end Hasbro does not care are only want to make money.
Hi Optibotimus. I love your videos as always. I live in the San Francisco bay area and commute over this "San Francisco" bridge everyday to work. Not ONCE have I ever seen Optimus or Bumblebee crossing over either past me or in the opposite direction. Ha ha ha ha! Kidding, obviously. In all seriousness, I'm suspecting they cannot actually print it as the "Golden Gate Bridge" because it may fall within a copyright. Not many people know that the Golden Gate Bridge is a privately owned bridge in our city so, there my be a lot of red tape. And, I'm thinking Hasbro may not want to deal with it or the go through the trouble. The other bridges in my city (Bay Bridge, San Mateo Bridge, Richmond Bridge...etc. are not privately owned).
I already ordered the SS Voyager Prime a couple of months ago. You could obviously tell that Hasbro and Takara put a lot of effort and engineering into this figure. The amount of mechanical detail sculpted onto this figure is truly astounding!
