Bumblebee felt like it has received the most love next to SS86, they have all been quite solid from when Hasbro started producing them. I love the voyager Shockwave and “Concept” Megatron the most!
Did not expect Shockwave and Sunstreaker to be that low. I’m still excited to get them despite the flaws they both have

It was your review of Studio Series 110 Shockwave that convinced me to actually get him myself after it was officially revealed at WonderCon 2024.
And before you ask, yes, the forearm swivel on Shockwave helps to compensate for the lack of bicep swivels.
I was just walking through the transformers aisle trying to find the target exclusive Optimus but I found shockwave (and no target exclusive Optimus sadly) but I grabbed that thing like my life depended on it
The Decepticons are my favorite figures in this line. Megatron, Shockwave, Soundwave, the Seekers, ex. Are all so good. Easily my favorite Transformers toyline ever.

Shockwave holds a special place in my heart even tho he does not have a biceps swivel he is still logical and badass

I think the Bumblebee Movie line is probably one of my favorites. I really love the WFC line as well.

I'm glad Megatron made it into the top 3. And honestly, the jet mode has grown on me and looks not bad. The tank mode is a little better. He is one of the leader classes I didn't mind paying full price for.
He is a really cool loooking figure! I just feel that for a Leader Class, maybe they should’ve scrapped the jet mode and focused more on the Tank
This line does mostly consist of retools and repaints but all in all it’s solid! What I wished would’ve been on 3rd Or 4th (somewhere up there) was the Shockwave!
Sick list! I really, really hope they drop a Prime Universe Shockwave that stays true to the beastly on screen design from the animation!!
Honestly i really like soundwaves alt mode, if you untab the feet it looks like an alien beetle ship and the ability to airdrop his minions is even cooler

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this line! The only ones I don't own are; (Jetform) Shatter, (Car form) dropkick, Cliffjumper, rumble, and Soundwave. I am so glad I got alot of these when they came out, and a few of them I traded for. Can't wait for Skywarp. I didn't like wfc tetrajets but this new take on the tetrajet I loved the hell out of.

5:30 you know dropkick did actually had double arm cannons it was at the harbor when bumblebee was shooting at shatter and dropkick at the tower and dropkick was seen having two arm cannons

SS megatron transformation was disapointing. But, robot mode is masterpiece
It’s possible they can redo shatter and dropkick to a voyager class and make the triple changer gimmick since springer is now in studio series 86 as a triple changer and bb movie megatron

Voyager triplemcjangers of Shatter & Dropkick are very much wanted by me as well.
Very fair, and accurate ranking vid. While I really only started with the SS ROTB figures I did early last year get the SS premium release of Voyager Prime. While not perfect, he is still a phenomenal movie Prime, and other than the lower legs really not holding together all that well not a lot to complain about. Really like the latest Concept Megatron, and Cybertronian Shockwave. Other than a few missing points of articulation and simpler engineering the size, and plastic quality feel great almost Leader quality. Definitely want to see a SS update for Shatter, and Dropkick at some point.
Honestly I think Rachet and Ironhide look great. They're extremely on brand for their characters. Both are consistently shown as bulky in all forms of media, and I'm used to seeing them that way, so these two versions look quite natural to me. Possibly the best looking figures for the character outside of MP. And as with all things, just a touch of shading makes anything display worthy.

I love seeing The bumblebee movie Optimus Prime always 1st. I have it and its one of my favs. And it definitely always deserves that first place spot!
I hope DNA design makes arms with bicep swivels for Shockwave. If that figure had bicep rotation the figure would be a 10 out of 10 for me

Actually there's a company called achai kit making an arm for shockwave that actually has a bicep swivel
One day, purely by chance, I saw Studio Series #93 HOT ROD while I was shopping in target. I get to the frozen food section, grab something or other, then started heading to the checkout. I can't say why I did it, but I backtracked and grabbed it. Sitting here thinking about it while typing this, I realize I had NEVER seen that figure ANYWHERE up until that point.
That was two months ago.
I suppose I'm beating around the bush to say, Why didn't you mention him?
I bought the Dark Commander knock-off Prime for $25 off of ebay. Figure is a lot better than Hasbro's. More metal than plastic.

I’ve got Thrust, Prime, and Megatron and I've never regretted getting any of them. Especially Megatron. That figure is without a doubt, my favorite of the four Megatrons I currently own.
After watching Bumblebee last year, the helicopter Dropkick is actually accurate to the movie, he's just lacking in a lot of paint

i dont hate cliffjumper or b -127, the backpacks annoy me, but ive figured out ways around the other kibble (don't fold the wheels in and just rest the whole panel on the inside of the leg, i have cliff and both b-127 variants, trust me, i know. what im doing)
I recently got the SS Bumblebee Wheeljack in a two pack with 86 Perceptor for $19. The figure kinda baffed on me cuz of the transformation, but after a few days of transforming it back and fourth. I have to say this has to be my favorite Wheeljack figure (Perceptor was okay and I needed to replace my Kingdom/ ER Wheeljack cuz that figure is just not really nice to handle)

5:22 I still have car dropkick. Unfortunately, for my copy, his door wings and tail lights snapped off. I want him as a vehicon as a call back to 07 game troopers, and finding parts is no drive down the repair shop.

I actually like the B-127 version of Bumblebee more than the off-road Jeep but just my thoughts...but man that Optimus is so good 👍
Awesome truck and awesome bot, thats why SS38 (or premium finish version) is better than SS102.
I have both and even with dNA kit SS102 is worse than SS38, they should have kept the bumblebee design for prime and not the rotb design.
I don't like Brawn's head, so I use his Titan Master head as a replacement. Looks good and if you can make the Titan Master sturdy so it doesn't fall out and without removing Deluxe Brawn's actual head.
I hope that upcoming SS MV6 Bumblebee is an updated Volkswagen Bee. I would be hyped for the Camaro one, but I have the ROTB Bee.
Hey @PrimeVsPrime, can you give us a video showing us some pictures of the figures together? It's so sick to see the autobots and decepticons back in live-action and g1 designs. Love to see some pics of all them together!
They had so much freedom with some of these figures, with a lot not having both modes seen in the movie, but they swung massively with their success. Compare the alt modes of Soundwave and Arcee for evidence, how did the design team think they were on par with each other?

1:03 bUT if you put the work in it’s actually one of the coolest looking figures ever. Coolest head out of the shatters And you can glue the fenders to the shoulder pads and actually have them accurate (you gotta snip the windshield ports into clips but otherwise it’s the easiest mod and the first I ever did and I swear it’s because you had the fenders on the shoulders in one of your videos. Definitely try gluing bc god knows you ain’t reselling this one and then drop a bit of superglue inside the ball joint of the shoulder and spread it around with a rlly small paintbrush and you will be so much happier) lots of words but I actually really feel for the honor of this figure it’s a cool ass car and the robot honestly has some sick leg details even if they have no outward range lmao
In my opinion this was the weakest of the entire SS line. Most of the alt modes are just made up, but nothing original like the Ariel crafts from Dotm or a alien tank, its just "car but fake". I usually collect the plastic guys for their licensed alt modes, its "Robots in Disguise" after all

I get the fuss about Wheeljack’s rotb design. Like yeah, Pablo. But, it is what it is. It would be kinda cool if Wheeljack gets injured so he reconfigures his face to look more like the bb Wheeljack. Just a thought.

It really bothers me that in the hype and massive marketing push for the new movies, Hasbro has this really nasty habit of slapping together and spitting out the Studio Series figures for the new post-Bay live action movies.
As we can see from this list, the main characters of the Bumblebee 2018 movie - Bumblebee, Shatter, and Dropkick - were really shafted in terms of their Studio Series releases and it's such a pain because the designs of these characters in the movie were amazing!
Despite RotB not being included in this list, I still want to point out just how wack the Studio Series releases are as well.
First off, almost all of them is not even remotely screen-accurate, all based on concept art;
Arcee was absolutely shafted by being Core class, Nightbird is kibble-tastic, Mirage's robot mode was completely gimped in favor of appeasing daddy Porsche with his car-mode, Battletrap's arms stick out in such an ugly way in both robot and alt-mode, Optimus Prime being a Buzzworthy Bumblebee exclusive was hella uncool and his truck bed is just gross, and... Pablo... ugh...
the Pablo figure is actually pretty faithful to his on-screen appearance, but that's the one character whose on-screen appearance you *don't* want as a SS figure...
Also, I personally love Bumblebee transforming into a VW Beetle, and I'm disappointed that, to this day, there are no really good, modern-quality (think Generations Legacy levels of quality) figures of Bumblebee which turn into a Beetle; MP-21's robot mode is kinda dated and aftermarket MPs are way too expensive, MP-45 is just mega-trash, Earthrise Bumblebee parts-forms (annoying) and is hard to find let alone get ahold of, SS-18 Bumblebee is kibble central and (like a lot of early SS releases) is kinda really jank, and the upcoming SS/86-19 Bumblebee doesn't even turn into a Beetle! It makes me sad, man...
Sorry for the nerd rant, but man, Hasbro really dropped the ball with a lot of these new movie characters/designs and I am just so, so disappointed.
At least that SS-38 Optimus Prime and the Cybertron scene characters are still amazing, and the dedicated Bumblebee 2018 concept art figures (Megatron especially) are so badass.
2:36 yea Ngl people hating on the VW deluxe bee really pissed me off because the doors were super last minute and nobody would’ve ever batted an eye. They put buttloads of work into that figure and to this day is still the only ss bumblebee that felt properly poseable. All the bayverse ones had shit feet and so did the rotb one (just ankle tilt is no bueno give me the uppydowny motion or all they can do is stand hand on hips and shit )
The jeep one was good too jk but the VW one is way more dynamic (and way more dynamic than it would’ve been *if it had no wings* )
I personally like megatron because the rotf design is so f*cking awsome

Megatron not being number one is a surprise, but a welcome one. The number one and two spots are definitely worthy!
Megatron's tank mode honestly reminds me more of Animated Blitzwing's tank mode with how compact it looks
I liked the seekers best but only thundercracker looked a bit off, too much purple/dark blue going on
