Not quite. The top part of the grill, I have yet to get to go flush with the rest of the grill, and I haven't seen one review where it goes flush either. There's something stopping it, but I haven't figured out what it is yet :P

Hasbro offers it again and, after the ROTB movie7 voyager class, this figure feels surprisingly delicate because of some pieces detaching and the pegs not holding. If they improved the product after all these years, I wonder what the original was. But nice transformation for not being a MP.
Finaly got my copy of him , KO Dark Commander very nice figure . Ido have a few issues with the legs the tabs on the knee and shin doesnt come together that wel . But still a very nice figure! and many thnx for this vid because the instructions are a bit meh 🤣🤣. I did mage to get the trailer from g1 on himn with a bolt and round head looks pretty cool to!
Over the last 3 years I had a ko of this guy in all sorts of colors. Finally settled on shattered glass since it's a rarer recolor than nemesis or magnus. For magnus I have siege amd for nemesis I'll get ss102 ko when it drops.
thank god for this video Emgo, i just got a 3rd party version of this guy but as nemesis prime and those instructions were absolute shit. you saved me a lot of frustration
I can't fold the arm flush like at 1:52 because one of my shoulders was installed backwards, so it won't close all the way. Extremely frustrating. I tried to remove the pin to flip the shoulder, but I can't get a good angle to push the pin out. Very frustrating, I really wanted to like this toy, but I can't transform it, so what's the point?
Mine came with 2 of the same pieces, the silver piece right below the front windshield. I have 2 passenger side pieces, which doesn't matter when he's in robot mode but, I have to remove the driver side piece to get him to transform into his truck mode, which then leaves a nice gap in the front. Since I waited so long to finally open him, an exchange is no longer possible. He looks good in robot mode though.

It is so wonderful to have someone online who slowly goes through the transformation of these figures back and form. I do have a small request... could you begin putting time links in your description for where the start of transforming back from vehicle to robot mode begins?

This model truck is designed like that IRL. That’s why it angles in on the toy. Watch the Lazy Eyebrow’s review and he explains it.

A pity most of these versions don't come with a trailer.
The peg doesn't quite fit (too snug), but this does work with the Earthrise/Kingdom trailer if you just rest the trailer on top of the trailer port.
a better Opimus than I have mine doesn't have a back.
And Bay said the G1 designs wouldn't work in live action.
