Hi bro, just wanna ask, may I know where is this location exactly? Is it near Kamay Botany Bay National Park?
Nice vid what colour jig was that
I believe it was the Fusilier. Blue colour :)
Love this spot
far out man not fair😭😭
You got a missus that buys you fishing gear like a Stella.
Ask her for a ZENAQ fishing rod next time
Hahaha imagine a ZENAQ! I was already losing my mind when I saw the stella lol!
@@itsmichaelfishing6595 just tell her when TH-cam starts paying money you will buy her a Louis Vuitton
is that qld rock fishing vid in nossa or straddie
How heavy should my rod be for rock fishing?
Nice video mate
What's your thought on putting 40lb on your 4000?
Appreciated Jack!
Its a little overkill to be honest hahaha! 30lb would probably suit it better with extra line. 40lb is probably the max i'd put. But still goes alright with 40lb. Just find one with smaller diameter and you'll be okay
@@itsmichaelfishing6595 I'm currently running 20lb on 4000, did a break test, the reel can provide much more drag than what 20lb braid FG Knotted with mono can handle. So was thinking instead of getting a 6000 to run 40lb braid, I could just interchange the line on the 4000 if chasing King around structure.
Hey mate, if you want to go for a fish let me know. I have started fishing in Sydney and this spot looks epic. Yew!
What was jig that you were using ?
"40g zippy", i think it was a nomad jig
Juicy stella + juicy catch = juicy session
juicyyy session indeed brah
Reel looks nice mate!
What jig is that mate?
40g zippy from mustad! :)
Cool
What size Leader you using?
30lb :)
All the gears and no catch bag? The jig works great though so you will recover from the loss soon.
I dont often catch fish hence no catch bag 😪 hahaha, yeah love the jigs!
Lost 3 lures there today and no bite haha 😂
Ouch... Unlucky Allan! 😅
Good fishing broe 👍
You just got another subscriber
Thanks for following!
Hey buddy it's been 1 year since you last posted a video.
Did you get married and if so I would like to buy your shimano stella and put it in good use
Hahahaha 😂 Love and appreciate the comment. Thank you for being a true follower! I moved to queensland after that video and I can tell you fishing is not the same here 🥲. Plus FT work, but I'm very excited to start posting again.
@@itsmichaelfishing6595 if your in Queensland go for the mud crabs 🦀
100%, the muddies are plentiful up here!
What lb line u running?
20lb j-braid, and I believe I had 50lb j-thread leader on too
@@itsmichaelfishing6595 thank u bro
Nice video where abouts is that ledge
@@itsmichaelfishing6595 do you reckon its safe
@@maragkos1988 Yeah, safer than most ledges I've visited. There are some obvious spots to avoid, but most of the time you should be sweet. That being said, always check swell, wear rock shoes and a life jacket!
@@itsmichaelfishing6595 cheers bro also one more question. Is there a specific location you type on the weather app or just check the waters around the area
@@maragkos1988 I try to search for the closest body of water that it can provide, but generally in the area should show up similar results
@@itsmichaelfishing6595 thanks mate
Wau amezing bro and big fish, spirit bro and greeting
Thank you bro! 😄🤙
Unlucky bro, definitely remember to conceal the fish for next time. Appreciate the vid bro. Enjoyed it. What lures were you throwing?
Hahaha yeah, that was a silly mistake. Tried to keep it cool in the little pool but they still plucked it out lol! 😓 Appreciate it man! I was using the Mustad zippy 40g in the blue sardine.
Thanks for the reply bro, look forward to your next vid yeww 🤙
@@itsmichaelfishing6595 tip for next time bro. Bring a clean rag and coles bag. Soak the rag using the salt water from a nearby rock pool. Wrap the fish in the rag, place it in a coles bag store in the shade underneath your bag. The salt water keeps the fish cool and preserves it well. Better than bringing a bucket full of ice. Especially when trying tp travel light. Tight lines bro.
@@ajlm2010 I will definitely try that bro. I hate travelling heavy lol! Cheers bro!
I felt the pain in the drag... unlucky bro
Nice job man.
Thank you!
Finally upgraded to a stella
Hahahaha all thanks to the missus! She got it for my birthday 😭👌...
@@itsmichaelfishing6595 she should of got you the saltiga cause DAIWA Is better 😃
@@novo4298 They both look so beastly 😱 But I do admit, I am more of a daiwa fan 🤫
@@itsmichaelfishing6595 hahah yesss, who isnt ?
Tuyệt vời

So you learnt two lessons here.
1. Never leave your fish out in the open
2. Metal jigs are awesome
Personally when I started using metal jigs, I caught much more fish than when I only used stick baits. Now I use floating lures at sunrise first and move onto jigs if there’s no topwater action. You might also want to invest into a specialised jigging rod.
Rod is definitely on the list! Any cheap alternative jigging rods that are decent that you recommend?
@@itsmichaelfishing6595 i'll send you a message on instagram
@@itsmichaelfishing6595 palms slow blatt jigs in white colour are best
@@novo4298 yeah seems like it lol! I've stocked up majority whites and silver now 😶
Mad spot bruvv gotta tell us wer it is🤙
I know where this is but I would never give to anybody
The leap. Kurnell. Come on mate. Just tell them. No worries too much😅
What jig were you using
I was using the nomad zippy 40g :)
