- What a start of fishing 2024! Nice start!!!
First ,casting of Yakka live bait got smoked by kingfish, then second cast finally caught up 🐟.
Yellow tails ( Yakkas) are pretty large now, and the kingies are too.
Today, I was trying lures and pillies and prawns, but I didn't have much luck with them, but live Yakkas did today.
Thanks for putting in the Pins mate, Im sure i'll bump into you there one day! tight lines :)
Sure, mate!
Thanks ! 👍
Great catch Marc! Great way to start the New Year! Happy New Year!
Thx, Happy New Year, you too! 👍
Nice video. How to reach there pls?
Great video Boss 👍🏼👍🏼, I’ll be try to find the way tomorrow, would be great to fish with you 👍🏼👍🏼
Pretty sure I saw you in this spot this morning mate - we both called it quits coz the swell was pretty big 😅
Good to see you!
Yes, the Swell was big 🌊🌊. After I went out to the North side (The Steep Hill side). It was much better there yesterday ,the swells protected by huge boulder rocks.
I had one big busted up ( I think it was Drummer) and caught a few juvenile Trevellies, which were all released.
See you next time!
Cheers
The Korean kingfisher 💪🏽
JONAH, during the holiday, you should come with me one day so that I can teach you!
Hey marc, nice to see you upload in a while. Been getting onto million rats so far in summer.. Maybe hooked only 2 decent ones. Hoping to have a good year and wish you best of luck for 2024
Thanks, Daniel. Happy New Year, you too .
I wish you all the best in 2024.

Tnhanks
Nice one brother
What strength leader and braid? Wanna be able to lift fish without net
I was using PE 7, and the shock leader is 60 Lb mono and 1m of 50lb mono hooks trace line.
@@marcyoomarcyoofishing4u512do ya think i could lift a king and bonny from there with 20lb😅 or should i go with 30/40lb
Main lines can be 20 lb on wards, but I prefer 30 lb trace line .
I try to use a little more strong lines because sometimes I get busted by bigger fish , try to avoid that.👍
Hey legend where abouts is that
Want to take my son there
It is south of wattamalla. Check weather conditions before you head off.
Cheers
Legend, thank you
Is the track ok for a 10yers old ?
No, no, I would not recommend!
영상 잘 보고 갑니다
감사합니다!
Happy New year 🎉!
오늘도 수고하셨습니다
감사합니다!
Happy New year 🎉!
Happy new year brother! nice catch! 🔥🔥
Thanks,
Happy New Year, you too!
Nice video. What bait do you use to catch the yakkas?
I make and use berleys.
I mix the berleys, with prawn pellets, dry dog or cat foods, oats , sandwich breads, and leftover prawn heads.
They really attract all fish.
Cheers
Hey Mark, amazing stuff. I am heading out to Garies beach tomorrow, how does this spot compare?. Do you have any spots around there you recommend for catching yakkas? I previously use to get in the wollongong harbour but don't know of the best spots to catch livies in RNP.
Tomorrow is not so good to go to Garie beach. The weather is not so good.
Do you know Garie Road is closed ? ( closed almost 1 year and half).
I went there yesterday.
I am loading new video now.
Cheers
oh no I didn't know that the Garie Road is closed, I haven't been out for a very long time. But my dad and I have tomorrow off so seemed like a good day. Are there any other accessible spots around there you recommend?
@@marcyoomarcyoofishing4u512
You have to go Curra Moors track, just before the Garie entrance, hike about 8 km each way. Cheers
Thats probably too far of a hike for my dad, hes 65 haha. Is coalcliff still good and easy to access?@@marcyoomarcyoofishing4u512
MARK can u please take me fishing!!
