As far as the music thing is concerned, a streaming service just for game osts sounds like a horrible idea. I have been so critical of games having media players in them having their soundtracks when they should have just dropped the soundtracks on Apple Music or Vinyl.All Nintendo has to do is drop their osts on normal streaming services or on cd or vinyl and we will be happy.

I'd like an official Nintendo TH-cam channel. They could on occasion like twice a year on the channel have free live videogame concert sample (three songs played) or have a special debut for new music for an upcoming game they wish to highlight; maybe include an interview with the music artists and learn their inspiration or something. I truly miss live Nintendo music channels here on TH-cam. It would also be neat if they have a ticker at the bottom so when a new song is currently playing it would inform the viewer where to download it or the title of the CD etc. It's for film soundtrack music but I quite like how 'Cinemix' radio, approached the system. They made it easy to learn where that song came from so you can go obtain it if you so desire. I want Nintendo to consider that.
Whilst I agree with the point of longer development time, Tears of the kingdom is not a good example for longer development. There was two years of COVID where workers stayed at home in Japan, where I live. That affected development of many games. There was a hybrid system for a while where some workers adjusted to getting back to work. That affected development. Nintendo announced that they took a whole year to fix just bugs after the game was finished, in contrast to the majority of other games which release and then need numerous bug fixes. Yes, it used many of the same assets but that game also has so much new content stuffed in it, and a whole new way to interact with the world. You’ve repeated this example a few times now but there are much better examples to use for longer development time.

Nintendo doesn't let you buy or own their old games on NSO, why would they release anything that's DRM-free? If anything, they'd do the exact opposite and make it extra piracy-proof to ensure no one steals their content. I'm pretty sure Nintendo recently signed a partnership with Denuvo to bring Denuvo DRM to future Switch games so that they can't be emulated on PC easily.

I really miss Nintendo's pure gameplay IP's like Pilot Wings, F-zero, Wave Race, 1080 Snowboarding, as well as masterpieces like Chibi-Robo and Eternal Darkness, what happened to the variety in Nintendo's game releases, has Nintendo become a 3 IP company only, I hope not, to say the least, I do hear Sega is cooking something special though, and bringing back pure gameplay packed games like Crazy Taxi, Jet Set Radio, Streets of Rage, Golden Axe, perhaps this upcoming Sega Renaissance will be the competition Nintendo needs to finally force them to start releasing games from their most fun IPs again.
Always like the creative & fun aspect of Nintendo games & consoles. But always been confused why they do so great with a console but then leave out a major feature that the competition has. GameCube was more powerful than PS2 but was missing DVD support & since the disk held less space alot of PS2 games couldn't fit on the disk. Imagine a different future where we got alot of bigger size capacity games that PS2 & Xbox had on GameCube. Wii lacked HD & a HDMI port. Also there was a storage limit on dlc in the Wii shop. The number of games that missed Wii just because of this. Wiiu made it really hard to play games without the gamepad always being on & tetherd. If you only wanted to use Wiiu pro controller, Also still no DVD or Blu-ray support. Switch. No browser, no way to voice chat online games except online app. Fortnite is only game that uses voice chat right. I personally don't hate the Nintendo app just think vc was an after though. Should be optional to use the app or direct headset plug in for vc. No USB storage support. No way to use headset on controllers. No themes. Slow internal storage.
The biggest new IP is still Splatoon... people actively talk about it and have events dedicated to it. Ring Fit Adventure is a weird anomaly because its not really a game game and people quietly buy it but nobody really ever talks about it anymore
I pretty strictly invest in US companies via the S&P 500 index funds, but with as much money as I spend on Nintendo I would strongly consider buying the Nintendo ETF. I really do love their approach to business and style, especially as an adult now.

Murasame Castle was a huge hit in Japan that they never iterated upon. Which is really weird since it was released close to Kid Icarus, Zelda and Metroid and all of them got sequels. Even weird is that Iwata worked on that. A Ghost of Tsushima like mande by Nintendo would be amazing, but they would probably give it a Zelda coat since it would fit nicely and if they prefer to use already known IPs unless the gameplay differs too much from it (like Splatoon being a Mario game before they thought it deviated too much from the Mario IP)

I know it wasn’t a “new” IP this generation and far from being unsuccessful, but I’d say Animal Crossing was their big breakout IP of this generation. Nintendo doesn't let you buy or own their old games on NSO, why would they release anything that's DRM-free? If anything, they'd do the exact opposite and make it extra piracy-proof to ensure no one steals their content. I'm pretty sure Nintendo recently signed a partnership with Denuvo to bring Denuvo DRM to future Switch games so that they can't be emulated on PC easily.

I really miss Nintendo's pure gameplay IP's like Pilot Wings, F-zero, Wave Race, 1080 Snowboarding, as well as masterpieces like Chibi-Robo and Eternal Darkness, what happened to the variety in Nintendo's game releases, has Nintendo become a 3 IP company only, I hope not, to say the least, I do hear Sega is cooking something special though, and bringing back pure gameplay packed games like Crazy Taxi, Jet Set Radio, Streets of Rage, Golden Axe, perhaps this upcoming Sega Renaissance will be the competition Nintendo needs to finally force them to start releasing games from their most fun IPs again.

GameCube was more powerful than PS2 but was missing DVD support & since the disk held less space alot of PS2 games couldn't fit on the disk. Imagine a different future where we got alot of bigger size capacity games that PS2 & Xbox had on GameCube.
Wii lacked HD & a HDMI port. Also there was a storage limit on dlc in the Wii shop. The number of games that missed Wii just because of this.
Wiiu made it really hard to play games without the gamepad always being on & tetherd. If you only wanted to use Wiiu pro controller, Also still no DVD or Blu-ray support.
Switch. No browser, no way to voice chat online games except online app. Fortnite is only game that uses voice chat right. I personally don't hate the Nintendo app just think vc was an after though. Should be optional to use the app or direct headset plug in for vc.
No USB storage support. No way to use headset on controllers. No themes. Slow internal storage.
The biggest new IP is still Splatoon... people actively talk about it and have events dedicated to it. Ring Fit Adventure is a weird anomaly because its not really a game game and people quietly buy it but nobody really ever talks about it anymore
I pretty strictly invest in US companies via the S&P 500 index funds, but with as much money as I spend on Nintendo I would strongly consider buying the Nintendo ETF. I really do love their approach to business and style, especially as an adult now.

Murasame Castle was a huge hit in Japan that they never iterated upon. Which is really weird since it was released close to Kid Icarus, Zelda and Metroid and all of them got sequels. Even weird is that Iwata worked on that.
A Ghost of Tsushima like mande by Nintendo would be amazing, but they would probably give it a Zelda coat since it would fit nicely and if they prefer to use already known IPs unless the gameplay differs too much from it (like Splatoon being a Mario game before they thought it deviated too much from the Mario IP)

I think the real problem Nintendo has is that it's hard to say who's at fault if Nintendo uses AI and it ends up too similar to something existing. If it's made by a person, it's easy to just make that person take the fall for plagiarism, since they're clearly the ones who plagiarized it, but if it's made by AI... Then there's no particular individual you can really blame, so I guess Nintendo as a company is probably at fault? I think that might be what actually worries Nintendo
