your playthrough made me play morrowind for the first time, i originally expected to not be able to play it myself bc of age, jank, no markers, etc, but i’ve fell in love with the game since
That’s amazing! That’s honestly how I felt playing through it too. I thought its age and different gameplay mechanics would be difficult for me to get past, but I fell in love with it quickly too!
Thank you man. Morrowind is a great game and it deserves continual attention despite being 20+ years old. I know you just completed the main quest and still have many side quests, along with numerous faction quests, and also the two expansions to cover! But please don't forget Tamriel Rebuilt.
not even joking, but right now you are my favorite youtuber. your contents are fascinating and just so calming. i adore video essays and your contents fits what i love.
Something big that you missed out of is that Ghostgate has a vendor that is the only guy who sells Glass Armour, the best light armour in the game. If you knew that it could've been a really good place to stock up before the finale.
This is absolutely exceptional stuff! Your voice is clear, concise and on the correct side of calm without being drole or dull. The narrative is enjoyable, succinct without being lazy and perfect for relaxing periods. Thank you
Wonderful retelling of the narrative. Your lesson with the icardian flight scroll made me double over because that scroll will always make me smile remembering how many stories back in the day I heard of people splatting themselves. Morrowind is my favorite and my first with the series. So much depth you just don't get with the later games
I will be here for every scrap of Morrowind content you release. I think you will have a blast with the expansions, I'm personally most excited for Tribunal, probably due to inch thick nostalgia goggles in some part, but I've always loved everything about the Tribunal expansion. The armor, weapons, story, new zone, I was a big fan of the entire package.
What makes Morrowind stand out is the landscape, that's for sure. Those big mushrooms and the adobe houses, unique for sure, at least compared to other TES games.
Hell yeah, I've been waiting for this! For some reason I never got the notification for the full-length video and I saw you were doing Tribunal already so I had to check and I was surprised lol Thanks for thr upload as usual, going to listen this to sleep for weeks haha
Dude... now I have to play through Morrowind again for the first time in years. And now w\o God mode for my first 10 levels like I use to. No PC for it now. Got it on Xbox. Well, thanks for the reminder of how much I love this story, in spite of the slog to get there. Great video, truly! Imma go prep myself for hurling my controller at the TV. 😂
People these days often say that Morrowind looks awful but I know for sure that everyone got spooked by a nix hound or ascended sleeper on their first playthrough.
Ngl you've become my favourite youtuber. I really enjoy your style of videos, always look forward to them! And so happy you've been playing Morrowind, I never finished the game myself, but used to have fun with it as a kid. Brings up such nostalgia.
@DancesRainyStreets I would say so yeah, since pretty much a lot of sidequests that you do in Morrowind are indirectly related to the main plot of the game, even without following Caius orders the game always is hinting you that you should really check on that nerevarine story people keep yapping about
Loving this video. Can't help but feel you missed out on an opportunity to sing the entire narration. haha. As Bards songs are usually stories of heroes and adventures anyway! Im happy to see this game still getting love. High Fantasy needs to make a comeback.
Railing two fat lines of moon sugar with my girl Sugar-Lips Habasi, got a couple bottles of flin and some fried saltrice; bout to let this video ride and enjoy myself
I've watched the all the parts of the main quest line and maybe will watch this one as well. Have to say, Morrowind is a game that makes me slow down my pace, because wanting to play this game as fast as possible makes it all feel cumbersome. Not because of bad design, this is one of my fave games after all, but the game asks this from me in it's own, good way. It's not about respecting my time, it's about the world they've delivered that needs to be understood, for the best experience. An organisation like the Twin Lamps is a good example of discovering things on your own in Morrowind.
For mages the best starsign is the attronach. Yes, the magica doesn't recover but you have some spell absorption. All you need is to summon an ancestral ghost then attack it. It will replenish your magica quickly.
Vivec is half golden because before they were cursed with ashen skin and red eyes the Dunmer were the Chimer. Vivec used his power to keep himself half Chimer and half Dunmer.
@@ABardsBalladThey pop up in books but they don't really still exist anymore in later games. The only two still around, AFAIK, are Almalexia who is still full Chimer, and Vivec.
@@ABardsBallad Almalexia is dead so now there aren’t any left. But it’s theorized that the Dunmer’s curse is wearing off. Which that’d be super cool if in the next game some of the Dunmer that were born more recently have been born with golden skin. And the player can choose golden skin if they’re playing as a Dunmer
I am grateful for this video as I can't play Morrowind, but have wanted to for many years. oh! and don't worry about pronunciation.. it changes from game to game and sometimes from NPC to NPC
I watched this as episodes, I watch this as a movie, what's wrong with me, I just love watching it😅. Oh, universe, hear my pledge, and let the new tv show on Netflix be on Morrowind stories.
*teeeeechnically* alulakhan isn't a part of dwemer history. It's a crude copy of numidium which was the brass tower and original god attached to the heart built by the dwemer
I've been trying so hard not to restart the game after finding an old xbox copy unpacking last week (I have a 360, the absolute slowest way to run the game possible, slower than jut on xbox). I can already tell clicking this, its gonna happen, as inevitable as the fate of Vivec City.
This is your first video I tried watching. I'll be honest, I've stopped after like 8 minutes. It isnt because the video is bad. Its because the title is dishonest. I came to watch a narrative breakdown of the storyline, because that is what the title says. Instead you're talking about skills and attributes and menus and side quests and weapon types and fast travel. None of that has anything to do with the main storyline. Based on what I've seen, this is just a summary of your playthrough, not a narrative summary of the main quest storyline. There is nothing wrong with doing a summary of your playthrough. If the title had been honest about that, i wouldn't have a problem and I'd probably be enjoying the video. Instead, I'm annoyed I spent 8 minutes watching something that wasnt what I was told to expect. Try not to lie in your titles. It just turns potential fans away.

Now THIS is how you honor the Sixth House and the Tribe Unmourned
The Dwemer and Dagoth Ur would be proud 🫡
Would've been funny if he picked a farm tool.
What a grand and intoxicating comment!
I’m a simple man, I see a morrowind narrative of the main quest, I subscribe and like before sitting in for this dream 4 hour masterpiece
