    This is day number 103 for me. I have Lupus and take several medications that make it almost impossible to lose weight. Ive tried several times to lose weight in the pass 15 years but it never really worked. Id lose around 15 pounds and then it would just stop. I have been following the Keto Vegetarian diet plan and have so far after 103 days lost 38 pounds. I’m very happy and l plan to keep on keeping on! Good luck everybody!

    Salad bowl
    100 grams baked tofu
    1 cup spinach
    1 cup kale
    Some dill
    6 black olives
    Hemp powder
    Nutritional yeast
    1/2 an avocado
    Tahini 1 tsp with some olive oil as dressing
    Saute green veggies , add avocado and tofu.

    1/4 C Coconut milk plus _water
    7 berries
    1 tsp Almond butter

      Amanda Mccoll he means black coffee. So technically she's not strictly fasting, but she prefers to not eat solid food before working out

    You can just grind up your whole flax seeds in a coffee grinder. It's even better than getting flax already crushed because the nutrients begin to break down after they are ground and sit on the grocery shelf. The pre-ground is good for recipes though It's an easy way to substitute egg if you're not concerned about losing some nutrients. Nice Vlog.

    Love it! Thank you. Please clarify: You mentioned intermittent fasting, but you drank bullet proof coffee. I was under the impression that any calories added to the coffee will also technically break the fast.

      super late but oil/fat does spike insulin therefore body remains in ketosis. as long as you don't add sugar

    If you want frozen coffees, use MCT oil instead. It has many of the benefits of coconut oil, but doesn't go hard at room temperature.
    The reason you need salt is because you're not getting it from starchy carbs anymore
    I'm doing regular keto right now, but i've just out dairy and am now thinking of going vegan/vegetarian keto. I'm thinking I will probably do vegan keto, but with eggs. Your food looks really good!

      Shaun Gordon well not really (regarding the salt part). Your body stores electrolytes in water, which is stored with glycogen. If you don’t have starch, you deplete those stores and lose your electrolytes rapidly. Super important to drink loads of water with a sprinkle of salt

    Awesome!! Went vegan for a year and couldn't keep with it... I started gaining weight! I have insulin resistance.... I couldn't find any good keto vegan recipes or enough of a variety. I did figure a way to make tortilla wraps out of all veggies using my vitamix and a food dehydrator... they were really yummy!

    You can ground your flax in blender.
    I blend as I need as the oils go rancid if if stands to long after ground

    You can grind the flax in your vitamix. Best kept in fridge for freshness.

    So happy you made this video! I went on a 2-week keto diet (with chicken, eggs, dairy and fish) in July and just got back into another 2-week diet again! I decided to go through it again because I have eczema (and a little bit of acne), and I find that during my time on keto my skin has improved significantly. I actually use coconut cream for my coffee as well because normal milk contains too much carbs (~5g per 100mL) for this diet:) I've always been into biochemistry but I actually started to look into nutrition and dietetics a year ago because of you!! I feel healthier and more mindful of what I eat than I have ever before~~

    add some hemp seeds to your coffee - adds some protein and it is even creamier. I have been following a vegan keto diet for 2 years. Do you keep your net carbs in the 20-30? I find that hard to do that being a Ironman Athlete, so I do closer to 50g. If you want to change the consistency of the seed bowl, try blending it and then put in the fridge. It will be smooth like a pudding.

    Thanks for the recipes. I'm in menopause and on a plant based diet to help prevent cancer since I'm on hormones, but I just keep gaining weight. I know from experience keto works as I was on it prior to menopause I was on it for a year and loved it, so now I've decided to try plant based keto to lose the weight that had came back on during menopause and plant based diet which can be high in carbs. Love the recipes you showed and can't wait to add them to my meal plans.

    If you want an alternative to Stevia (weird aftertaste) try xylitol. Same sweetness as sugar so it's 1:1 ratio without the aftertaste.
    Overall I try to avoid sweet sort of foods on keto but the stuff you made looks amazing!

    I've struggled with anorexia and binge eating.. My channel now is depressing because its me working through all that, mainly to let people know they are not alone, if my life is a mess might as well be for something... I'm researching vegan gluten free keto right now.. I am high carb vegan (400g+) but I feel keto will help stop my binges and apparently higher fat helps lower depression and anxiety. I will track everything when keto.. I'm doing the 21 days carb reduction into it.. You are the first channel I found that I think I could follow... Added you on insta.. Thank you xxx

    Amazing. I am recently switching to vegan, but as I also do keto and need some nice ideas 🥰 I am looking forward to losing excess weight and stabilising my thyroid and insulin. Hopefully then I can start well balanced diet without gaining weight again.

    Ellie, could you recommend good stores to get all sorts of health foods you mentioned (like the almond butter/seeds etc) in Bali? I’m going over in a month and last time I struggled with finding shops/markets that have proper cooking ingredients, not just the typical touristy little shops. Thank you in advance 💕

      Anita Sadowska hello! There isn’t a huge variety of health foods here but there is a small handful of health food shops. The ones I go to are: Alive Wholefoods, Bali Buda, Canggu Shop and Down 2 Earth 👌🏼💋

    U should just grind your own flax seed u can use a coffee grinder thats what i do its fresher that way too
