Because it’s something I’m struggling with, as complex carbs are really needed for progesterone production so I’m scared about ruining my hormone system/cycle.... has it effected it? thanks

When I first started eating this way, my cycle was messed up, definitely for the first month.... I think it was something like 34 days which is REALLY long for me! Then whilst eating keto my cycle was the most regular it's ever been and now I've stopped it's stayed very regular, which I am SO happy about! I think Dr Mindy on YT has some videos for women on how to eat for the phases of your cycle, might be worth checking out! x x x
I’m happy to find this after the study that was published saying keto is not healthy even for weight loss because of the lack of colorful high card veggies and the heavy reliance on deli meats and meat and unhealthy fats.

I feel like we’ve both gone back and forth from a vegan Keto diet at similar times 😅 I remember you making a lentil bolognese while I was still doing it and it was the straw that broke the camels back haha. one thing I did wrong last time was to get too caught up with being in ‘Keto’ and ate too much processed foods and cut out veggies that I love like tomatoes. Can be way more consistent with dirty Keto!

Had a carb up meal last night and don't feel awful, actually it's made me excited to eat my keto-ey food today :) Those old vlogs where I was having lentil bologense and porridge everyday (although delicious) my stomach and skin were not enjoying it haha! hope you're safe and well Sarah x
Hi I am at the same place.. Did really well for 1st month.. Have never used any test for keto, but my body felt better / lighter & came of tablets for arthritis.. My problem is bread.. :( ... I will keep trying as my body feels so much better.. when I do keto properly :)

I make kale the same way, but I also have dried garlic and dried onionpowder on it 😁 I also roast it a bit harder (I hope I am not killing the nutrients), I L O V E it 😀 Have the same electrolytes as you, but now the rules regarding toll has changed here, so I hardly can order anything.....oh well 😊I admire your self-discipline on not eating after 6 PM, I find it so hard :p I did try a 24 hour fast the other day, it went ok! I will try it again, it is supposed to be very good. I have taken on your "habit" of pouring flaxseeds on top of foods, so thank you! 😁😁

It's not possible to adhere to the keto diet long term and stay healthy. I tried it, and it was awful. I recommend the Agoge diet though, because it is diverse and will help you get rid of fat without starving yourself.
The main reason I started dieting was to get rid of cellulite, however the keto diet made it unbearable... That's why I tried the Agoge diet and it worked great
Hey! It's just kale on a baking tray with olive oil and salt and pepper... I usually do mine on a high heat and watch it go crispy... I say watch it, because it literally takes no time at all and is easy to burn! Enjoy! x
They are VERY important on keto, definitely have a read before starting. They will also help you to avoid the 'keto flu' or 'keto rash'. On lower carb diets you loose a lot of electrolytes, but they are so important for you body to function and you will feel pretty rubbish if they get low. Hope that helps and good luck! xx

I keep buying tofu and never cooking it and just throw it out when it expires. It's very sad. Can't really understand why I don't bring yself to eat it.
I understand that, I used to really dislike tofu. I have a curry recipe with tofu you might like on my website... or have a google on how to make crispy, baked tofu :) That really helped me with the texture x
Sempre pensei em elaborar numa dieta assim, sem produtos de fonte animal e sem carboidratos. Porém também sem conservantes, sem frituras, grãos apenas geminados, todos alimentos preparado numa temperatura que não passe de 42 graus celsius. Acredito que já seja possível eu montar essa dieta, porém ainda dependeria de suplementos alimentares (o que não é ruin) mas continuo em busca da dieta perfeita, acredito que estes suplementos possa ser substitutos por algumas cascas, raízes e folhas de algumas plantas e árvores, porém difícil é encontrar estas tal árvores e plantas.

that doesn't look like you are being lazy to me! when i was regular keto, i just shoved some ground beef and frozen veggies into a frying pain with butter and salt and pepper, now THAT'S lazy lolol

@@WellWithHels i just heard of a diet called 'the slow carb diet' by tim ferriss, it has a crazy cheat day, i'm so excited, perhaps you could try that and make it vegetarian or vegan? peeps would love ya for it :)
Very strict people tend to keep it between 20-30grams (I did when I first did vegan keto...helps your body to adapt). But depending on your activity level you might find you can tolerate more carbs and still remain in ketosis. Hope that helps x
The other issue is - non organic soya contributes to eustrogen dominance which is what soooo many of us have, if we were on the microgynan pill through the years... and soooo many vegan products have soya in them. Ahhhh, so hard.
I don't have an issue with eating soya, but I know some people do... There's a FB group called Vegan Keto and some people are soy-free so might be worth having a search on that page for recipes or ideas too :)
I really tried sticking with the keto, but I just felt awful and it's also really tough to adhere to. Then I tried the Agoge diet and it was life changing, I highly recommend it to everybody.
Hahaha! I can see why someone would think that! A high fat diet looks like less food because fat is very calorie dense. I actually find these meals really satiating :)
Your ego is showing. We have to stay humble as we are allnin different places on thr myriad journeys were on. Her diet is pretty clean ...all things considered. Give some credit. Ketogenic diet avoids carbs to switch to processing fat. Typically folks want to aim to burn fat, even if temporarily, so yes, you must avoid moat fruit even if fruit sugar is natural. Its not about that. The focus is decreasing stored fat. Folks typically do this style diet for a term until results are achieved. It can be a lifestyle. And at the end of the day, what the next person eats doesn't make us shit, right? Lol
Any good diet plan is supposed to be healthy and convenient so people can follow it long term. That's why keto sucks, and why the Agoge diet is great. I got rid of my cellulite finally.
Hi Rahul, are you lost? This is is quite clearly for those wanting to explore a keto diet.... For some it not just about weight loss or fat loss or cellulite loss. It's very shallow and narrow to think this is the only reason why a person would follow a particular way of eating.
Keto has been shown to be harmful in numerous studies, especially without doctor supervision. The Agoge diet was the only diet that helped me get rid of that stubborn fat without punishing my body.

It's not possible to adhere to the keto diet long term and stay healthy. I tried it, and it was awful. I recommend the Agoge diet though, because it is diverse and will help you get rid of fat without starving yourself.

Hey! It's just kale on a baking tray with olive oil and salt and pepper... I usually do mine on a high heat and watch it go crispy... I say watch it, because it literally takes no time at all and is easy to burn! Enjoy! x

Why electrolytes? What do they do?
They are VERY important on keto, definitely have a read before starting. They will also help you to avoid the 'keto flu' or 'keto rash'. On lower carb diets you loose a lot of electrolytes, but they are so important for you body to function and you will feel pretty rubbish if they get low. Hope that helps and good luck! xx

Hey Suzi, can't remember if I mentioned it in this video on some of my others, but I roughly have about 30g net carbs, some days more depending on how active I am :) This might be to many carbs for some though xx

I keep buying tofu and never cooking it and just throw it out when it expires. It's very sad. Can't really understand why I don't bring yself to eat it.
I understand that, I used to really dislike tofu. I have a curry recipe with tofu you might like on my website... or have a google on how to make crispy, baked tofu :) That really helped me with the texture x

Sempre pensei em elaborar numa dieta assim, sem produtos de fonte animal e sem carboidratos. Porém também sem conservantes, sem frituras, grãos apenas geminados, todos alimentos preparado numa temperatura que não passe de 42 graus celsius. Acredito que já seja possível eu montar essa dieta, porém ainda dependeria de suplementos alimentares (o que não é ruin) mas continuo em busca da dieta perfeita, acredito que estes suplementos possa ser substitutos por algumas cascas, raízes e folhas de algumas plantas e árvores, porém difícil é encontrar estas tal árvores e plantas.

I am not a quitter but I could not go through with the keto diet because it made me feel awful. Then I tried the Agoge diet and I lost so much fat, and most importantly no more cellulite.

How many carbs a day do you have? I thought 30carbs was the maximum
Very strict people tend to keep it between 20-30grams (I did when I first did vegan keto...helps your body to adapt). But depending on your activity level you might find you can tolerate more carbs and still remain in ketosis. Hope that helps x
The other issue is - non organic soya contributes to eustrogen dominance which is what soooo many of us have, if we were on the microgynan pill through the years... and soooo many vegan products have soya in them. Ahhhh, so hard.
I don't have an issue with eating soya, but I know some people do... There's a FB group called Vegan Keto and some people are soy-free so might be worth having a search on that page for recipes or ideas too :)

Your ego is showing. We have to stay humble as we are allnin different places on thr myriad journeys were on. Her diet is pretty clean ...all things considered. Give some credit. Ketogenic diet avoids carbs to switch to processing fat. Typically folks want to aim to burn fat, even if temporarily, so yes, you must avoid moat fruit even if fruit sugar is natural. Its not about that. The focus is decreasing stored fat. Folks typically do this style diet for a term until results are achieved. It can be a lifestyle.
And at the end of the day, what the next person eats doesn't make us shit, right? Lol

Any good diet plan is supposed to be healthy and convenient so people can follow it long term. That's why keto sucks, and why the Agoge diet is great. I got rid of my cellulite finally.
Hi Rahul, are you lost? This is is quite clearly for those wanting to explore a keto diet.... For some it not just about weight loss or fat loss or cellulite loss. It's very shallow and narrow to think this is the only reason why a person would follow a particular way of eating.
