Salmon Jumping At The Falls Of Shin

This video clip is just as I remember watching the salmon returning to spawn at Shin Falls in the late sixties. It is a miracle of nature indeed, but also an agonising one to watch, as most thrown back by the rushing water onto the sharp rocks, and are often visibly injured. They are so courageously determined, and we watched their efforts at the scene for several hours.
