The Class 390 uses an active tilting system first developed on the APT(Advanced Passager Train) made by the BR in the 1970s I think.
Yes, it does after the British sold the Tilting system to Fiat, they developed it further into the system, used today in the 390.

Hi Oliver. The word what you were looking for is tilt.
When the Pendolino goes around corners, it tilts (hence why it's called the tilting train) and it looks brilliant!
I've seen them do it a couple of times and it looks cool.

Reason why some electric trains have a more steady acceleration is because the manufacturers of some these fantastic units purposely do this as they’re focused on passenger comfort, for example when you get on a Class 390 Pendolino, you are likely to have a suitcase, and if that train sets off while your trying to put your case in the over head luggage area you won’t have a struggle keeping balance, but if you look at your previous race with Alstoms Class 390 Pendolino and the Acela Express the, the Acela speeds off, therefore you would be very likely to fall over.

The TGV is a much faster train, however because it is a locomotive pulled train, as opposed to a multiple unit, it doesn't pull away as quickly. This is because the TGV only has one or two engines, in both power cars, whereas the class 390 has engines in most of the coaches, giving it more power as opposed to speed

How did you get the trains to go so fast? I tried doing the power increase, but it didn't affect the train when I drove it.

can you 1 do a special with all of your videos and 2 do a tug of war with like one engine is programmed to go somewhere and you use the other one to pull it like a tug of war ( i recommend trying it out before you make the video with like a tank engine or something) so the first one to get past a set of buffers on the side of the track wins and moves on to he next round ( i did this with my model railway and it actually was awesome so natualy it will look amazing in train sim (if you dont want to do that thats fine).

The virgin pendolino was built to replace the apt plus both of them could tilt but the apt had problems with the tilting thing

Leaning phenomenon is known as banking of tracks, where the outer track is at a higher elevation than the inner track while at a curve, to avoid derailment and equalise the centrifugal force..... :)
Yes, in Britan the tilt is up to 6 degrees. However, the class 390 also tilts up to 8 degrees I believe.
