Western countries belike: why are there no LGBTQ and feminism elements in this game???
You sound like a person that wakes up in the morning, hating the west, eating his breakfast while hating the west, going to work doing his job, talking trash about the west with his co-workers, eating lunch while hating the west, going home, still hating the west, eating dinner while hating the west, going to sleep and dreaming about how bad the west is, every day.
The type of person nobody wants to drink a bear with, except for other people like you, who also only think about how how bad the west is.
Journey To The West is a Chinese Buddhist classical novel. Buddhism has no issue with LGBT or women, cry. So there is no need to bring this up in situations where it doesn't matter.
South korea and America always keep exporting their culture and influence globally, perhaps it's time for China to bring something new to the table.
BM Wukong is certainly a great step in that direction, the game is very nice to say the least 👍✨
it's not new, there are many movies, animations or games with the monkey king, it's just that this is the first time they made it into a AAA game.
Such as dragon ball or any references to monkey usually refer to sun wukong

Greetings, beautiful game, I love it. The beauty and richness of Chinese history and mythology, fantastic
if you clicked on this video thinking it might answer your questions about the intro of the game, congrats, you just got click baited. the real story of black myth wukong take place in after wukong escorted his master (the monk who went to india to get the scriptures). However, the deities were still salty about getting beat up by a monkey so they want to level his mountain. wukong thinks its unfair because he completed his assignment from the budda. so he fight all the gods as you seen in the intro. the monkey you play is the "destined one" who's suppose to retrieve all the relics and bring back wukong whos trapped in a stone
If it takes place after the journey to the west, shouldn't the monkey king be trapped under a mountain then?

Your comment has to be sarcasm, because the story of "Journey to the West" / "The Monkey King" has been told like a thousand times by now.
You tried to create sterile polemics about the game, now that it's a huge success you are trying to milk it, two faces journalism
That’s journalism in every country.

@@TigerTiger-fx3ps It's totally different story. I watched both movies and their characters are not even similar except for being monkey warriors. Wukong is rebellious, trouble maker, arrogant and won't follow the monk if not for the headband which hurt him whenever the monk reads mantra. Hanuman on the other hand is all about his loyalty to Rama. Why Journey to the west is so famous is because Wukong's character grow from being so hopeless to become **spoiler**. Sun wonkong is based on a "Journey to the west" a chinese novel published in the 16th century during the Ming dynasty and attributed to Wu Cheng'en. It is regarded as one of the greatest Classic Chinese Novels, and has been described as arguably the most popular literary work in East Asia.
Journey to the West has strong roots in Chinese folk religion, Chinese mythology, Chinese Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoist and Buddhist folklore, and the pantheon of Taoist immortals and Buddhist bodhisattvas are still reflective of certain Chinese religious attitudes today, while being the inspiration of many modern manhwa, manhua, manga and anime series.
