I’m really inspired to make up some freezer meals now, but all our freezers are too darned full! Guess I’d better work on that and then revisit this video.❤️
I love having freezer meals on hand. Thanks for sharing so many recipes! I am so impressed that you are planning ahead so meals will not be a worry after your surgery. Self sufficiency at it's best.
Great video -- I'm so excited to get all these recipes. They will help my time in the kitchen so much. I will be happy with all videos like this that you can give us. Will be checking out all your videos. Again, A Great Big Thank You !! Bless you from grandma Katie in Oregon
Aaaannnnddd...now I'm craving funeral potatoes! Lol I can't wait to add some of these recipes to my freezer meals collection. I love that you cook with lots of spices and your liberal use of chilies. I would cry if I couldn't use them (and I have cried when I lost my tastebuds for almost a year after my cancer treatments. thankfully they came back, mostly). Sending you positive energy 💌
I pick out all the dark pieces from potatoes, too!😆 (It about kills me not to do it to grits as well, but I know that's just naturally occurring pigment from the corn kernels.) I don't think we're weird for pulling out the bad bits in the potatoes, Jeni. Once you've seen them, it's hard to forget them!😂
I’m the same😜. Even tho I know I’m ridiculous😜 I also pinch out chalazea in eggs-the white stringy part-it grosses me out🤷♀️😝sometimes I convince myself to not be ridiculous but mostly I pinch it out-not easy either-slippery little sucker 😅
I wish I lived close to you so I could cook for you and your family while you’re healing❤️🩹 Praying for you everyday! I haven’t made those potatoes in forever-love the idea to fry them🙌🏻
I have never seen anyone put any type of milk in meatloaf, gonna to have to try that for sure :-) Thank you so much for your videos they are awesome. God Bless you and yours
I made meatloaf last night-I usually use old crackers-but I used a box of Hawaiian sweet roll stuffing🤷♀️(I got several boxes in my food CoOp) I think it’s Aldi brand-It was so dang delicious 😋

Jenni, I love your videos.Don’t know how you come up with so many recipes . Just got a medium size freezer for my self so I will be starting small. Thank you so much!
For a switch up at times I have used Pepper jack cheese, crumbled bacon, and crumbled Chez it crackers or sour cream and onion potatoes chips crunched on the funeral potatoes. On the tater tot casserole I like the idea of doing the meat raw. One time making it I discovered french fried onions that i had and figured i would use it up and put it on top, turned out tasty. Love meat loaf and making a meatloaf sandwich with the left overs. Chicken thighs and the Korean beef looks great That lasagna is going on my list for next week dinner. Thanks for the yummy dishes
I’m intrigued… Now I want to see what salsa powder is and how you made it. Your recipe looks yummy for this casserole 🙂🦋 Praying in advance for you and your family during your surgery and recovery.
Everything looks so good...when it come to party/funeral potatoes..I make them every holiday for my family dinner. And I can't make enough any more..upto two 10 by 13 pan...lol. as my grandkids grow and more come I be make three pan...lol. (I have 6 growen children and 5 grandkids) Im going to make this dishes for 2, 1 for dinner 1 for leftovers...love you channel dear...keeping you and your family in prayer....p/s I also pick out tge dark ones...😊 we eat with are eye 1st.
Wow Jeni. You are so amazing!. Great ideas. I will be making some of these because I have not been feeling well and this could have saved my husband from eating something he didn't enjoy as much.
There are things I have never eaten that I will now try, thanks to you (like funeral potatoes and King Ranch casserole) because you make them look delicious! I, like you, also use Cheez Whiz for some things, like my mother did. Au gratin potatoes are the best that way! I make chipotles in adobo powder, but now I will definitely make salsa powder, too. And powdered tomatoes can thicken a lot of things that get too juicy. I’m curious about using a Lo mein sauce in with beef I want to can. What do you think? Thanks, Jeni. I see some wonderful freezer meals in my immediate future because I sure like what I saw here. Just marvelous!☺️
I also love cheese wiz, just something about it. The king ranch dish looks tasty, you just used regular lasagna noodles, hope you have enough liquid, it takes a lot to hydrate those, 1.1 times their weight in water, the no boil ones take a lot less, I bet the flour tortillas would work good in that. One thing for sure you are going to be eating good while recuperating. Must be getting close, I will be holding good thoughts for you.
I'm with your husband on the store bought corn tortillas, they have a weird smell and taste due to the preservatives in them I guess. Homemade is a different taste and smell, so much better. I do use the store bought, but not my favorite.
Jeni, if you don't mind my asking, where did you find those pans with the tops, I can't find them anywhere local to me. Oh yes, another thing, you were having a problem with your plastic wrap, well I was having the same problem and I found one that works awesome it is called " Press and seal" by glad, it is wonderful and if I am putting it in the fridge over something, I have even used it 2 times, might consider trying it so much better than fighting that plastic wrap. Hugs and God Bless you and yours.
Please can you tell me, is your hash browns mix just grated potatoes because we don’t get them like that in London. If you buy hash browns here they are preformed patty shapes of potato mix

Awesome! That sounds great! 😊
Crushed potato chips work wonderful, no need for more butter.
Funeral tacos freeze dry and rehydrate amazingly well. We love to keep them in the camper and in food storage.Precooked of course
My family doesn’t like meatloaf but I love it so I mix it up and bake it in large muffin pans. Then freeze the leftovers.
I used to do that for my kids when they were school aged and I worked a lot! Its a great idea! 😊
Hi Jeni! So many yummy dishes. I love Cheeze Wiz too, I use it in my broccoli rice casserole. Have a blessed day!

Wonderful! Yu are so welcome! 😊You can can lo mein sauce so long as it doesn't contain thickeners (flour, egg, cornstarch...).
Jeni, could you use tortilla chips in the Kings Ranch? Lol. Fantastic freezer meal video.
Thank you! Tortilla chips would get soggy 😳!
Too bad.
Just got a new freezer. Now to fill it up. Thanks
That’s Awesome! Congrats!! 😁
I've never had hashbrown casserole but it looksdelicious. Thank you Jeni. Much love .

Jeni, The extra egg shell in your meatloaf is just added calcium. LOL

When you freeze the lasagna, the ice it produces adds extra water when baking. They work great! Thank you so much! ❤
@@Jeni_Gough Never knew that, good tip, I always make one freeze one, makes life easier.
King ranch casserole is the bomb. I’m sorry your honey doesn’t like corn tortillas, but as a lasagna it would be delicious too.
Another great video! Nice job,. you got a new subscriber.
Awesome, thank you! 😊

Put a piece of bread in your brown sugar bag and it will stay soft and not clump up

Straight from freezer. 😊

I love freezer lasagna!! Also chicken divan!
Please can you tell me, is your hash browns mix just grated potatoes because we don’t get them like that in London. If you buy hash browns here they are preformed patty shapes of potato mix
I do sliced potatoes not hash browns, but if I dried them, yes, they would be shredded. You can’t fry a patty.
