PS5 Pro is intended for upcoming games, not the former ones which were developed with the old PS5 in mind hence you not noticing much difference! we had drastic changes happening in the past few years. a lot has changed since 2020 and PS5 had to adapt or it had to retire soon! so your complaint here imho is not warranted. Talking about the price tag, although it also reflects the inflation of 2025! and we cant compare it with 2013/2014 like that, but if we take inflation rates into account, its indeed higher than inflation! but then again if you remember PS3, you know that at launch it was priced at 599$! in 2006! if we include the inflation rate, that would be 935$ dollars! so it depends on the hardware costs imho. considering all of this, I'd say Sony priced it properly all things considered.
I see what you're getting at, but if the PS5 Pro is indeed intended for upcoming games like you say, then why didn't they showcase any of those games during its unveiling? I mean, the onus is on Sony to make a case for their new hardware, and they chose to do so with older games that already looked good enough, hence my complaints and overall skepticism.
@@michaelabayomi Thats a really good point you made right there. I totally agree on that part. However my point was aimed toward the price tag and that which by itself, is not the real issue unless it doesn't bring any value. we now have to just wait and see how it performs with future games.
it will never happen consoles have always held developers down even if ps5 pro release they will still have to optimize game for ps5 till this generation ends. Same thing happened with ps4 pro, ps4 was so outdated yet they still had to comply till its generation ended.
You're right. But by that logic, they might as well charge $1,400 for the console, which begs the question, "At what point does it become too expensive for a hobby?" 🤔
Will you be getting a PS5 Pro? Reply below and let us know.
Sony: "All games will run at the highest frame rates with maxed out graphic settings"¨

I’m sorry but video games hobbies was never an affordable hobby. Plus no one is forcing you to buy a 700 console
