Yup. John needs a screen name for the videos. I suggest "Tinker John", because he tinkers, alters, builds, fixes, and works on so many different things, from matchbox cars to racing mowers. Another suggestion is "John the Judge" because he's often the test pilot of new builds, and he gives his judgement and opinion on them, and he also judges the coolness of components.
Another option is "Journeyman John", because his knowledge and skill are more than apprentice level but not yet master level. Or he could be called "General John", because he's the man with the plan, even when his plans are carried out by others.

Sounds like that Motors got a lot of power. I bought a predator engine 13 horse last year for a snow plow they were telling me it was strong enough to push snow anyways thank you for the video

hey at 3:16 if you look there is a black screw. if you turn it in it should raise your idle I believe. as you turn it in the throttle plate opens a little and sets it as the stopping point when you release the throttle and it springs back. i think....lol....im not an expert on these. cool video as well. i just picked up one of these as well for a baja doodlebug

On most of the blower fans for leaf carts the engines muffler is flush with the block keep that is mind when repowering those

I've seen this brand on Amazon and notice that their 3hp engine looks just like the Harbor Frieght Predator. Thought about getting this brand and one those Azusa Mini bike kits and try build little small minibike when I have the money. But I don't know how hard the Azusa kits are when putting them together since I'm beginner at small engine building anything. I've even thought about buying one those hover heart mini bike on Amazon and building a mini bike out the frame since I like how the. Frame is designed. Definitely enjoy watching your video's I found myself wishing I had your knowledge of small engine cause definitely help. With the ideas I like to do some day.

Hmm, someone else said it too, but I think Tinker John would be better than John's Ideas. Tinker John would be more catching.
Tons of these off-brand engines out on the market now....I don't think any of them are all that bad considering what people are throwing them on, which are toys for the most part.
I don't have anything to put any engines on right now, but I think any of them would work fine for most applications on a budget, and given how Brigg's and Stratton has really gotten terrible in recent years, I wouldn't put any money on any of their engines....Kohler, and Kawasaki are ok, but way too expensive for a lot of applications where there's a tight budget, and for those wanting to tinker with parts swapping, these off-brand engines are the way to go given how so many of them you can swap other parts into and get a bit of a power boost out of them without spending a ton of money.
Wish there were engine choices like this when I was John's age and my cousins had go-karts that we always wanted to swap engines on.
