Hello I began carving with just a knife in 2019 by following Doug Linker. It has been such a fun and rewarding hobby in my retirement. My old hands get really sore holding knives and gouges. That is where you came in. Power carving with a Dremel and flexshaft allows me to continue my hobby when my hands need a break. You are a great teacher. I just wish you would post templates or sources for templates or layout instructions, along with whichever carving you are showing. You have demonstrated some wonderful carvings however some of us are not as artistic to draw out the figures without help. Keep upnthe great work and inspiration. Thanks 😊
That's awesome, you're awesome! 🤩 It's unbelievable how talented you are, and your work truly exerts an inspiring force. A true Viking blacksmith master! Thank you so much for sharing 🙏
Thank you for sharing your art. I appreciate the insightful reminders to our subconscious psychological tendencies allowing ourselves to role with the punches and pivoting makes for productive growth. Your use of multiple skill sets, products and techniques is absolutely inspirational.
Great work fellow creator/maker. I would honestly expect this level of quality carving from a guy using a $400 hand set. Well done. I hope to afford one some life time 🤩🍻
Hey bud, general woodworker here, in the future, if you want a resist, I would try some shellac, that should do a pretty good job at it (it's used as a wood sealer, or as a finish dependant upon how it's applied)
Amazing video Matt. You are great at what you do and also so good at explaining and showing all the process. Thank you so much for all the time you take in making these super helpful videos.
Hello Cornelius it's has been a long time since I've been back to this channel but I still love your work and I'm still going to try to do this myself I'm 73 now and I need something to do thanks for sharing your knowledge mistakes an all the hammer looks great
Instead of a sander with no vacuum on it why don't you try a scraper you'd be surprised how easy it is to clean that would off right up to the steel 100 can you smooth out the handle one so much better! A little 400 what's 600 1000 or 1200 all you need is a good wax to finish the handle!

I want to try this on my woodsman hatchet 🇨🇦
I would love to see the outcome!
Mat have you ever used paper shopping bags as an ultra fine abrasive to polish with ? They work pretty well if you can find them .
I have never thought of that! But now that you mention it I will have to try it!
Wow!Wow!
Thank you!
How are you collecting dust with what looks like a box fan? I'm currently trying to figure out a system for my own small shop.
Well.... I'm gonna be destroying harbor freight hammers for the rest of the damn summer now...
Haha, no my friend, you will be making them BETTER! 😉
Taking inspiration from vIYkang art….. 🇺🇸
Awesome!
@@CorneliusCreations in fairness your absolutely gifted at it
I appreciate the kind words my friend!
Think im gonna carve my push broom in the garage. Have the fanciest broom anywhere and i dont care if i mess it up
It will be fun and you will have a hilarious conversational piece for anyone that sees it!
Also, which hammer would you recommend for this project? And which tomahawk do you use for those projects?
I would recommend the cheapest hammer you can find. The tomahawks are from american tomahawk company.
Can you post a link to the transfer sticker setup you use?
Here you go. scmsysteminc.com/catalog/engraving-supplies/
Wow!!!
Thank you!
you should have done that art work with you laser machine to trace everything then follow up by hand to finalize everything.
