Be sure to use Food Safe glue and finish on the horn!
I know how to drink from the horn, but I wanted to get better shot with the camera, and also it looks more barbaric with the tip to the sky :D
This is an easy alternative to make your own drinking horn, if you cannot buy/get one (like me) :/
The horn is made out of wood shavings and towel paper and can hold 1 L of beverage, which is tested, be sure to use a lot of layers (5 or more) to get strong structure ;)

I also thought about it, but this is way easier and cheaper. Many people used this technique to make their own horns 😍

Excellent workmanship! When I read the title my first thought was "a horn already has a shape, so the vid must be about cleaning carving polishing and sealing. How else but handmade can this be done." Then I see you carving a horn shape from wood and think "wooden horn? Interesting..." Then you proceed to actually MAKE the horn itself! NICE! Epic Workshop just a suggestion for material, chain mail is incredibly easy to make and cheap. I've made chainmail capable of chewing up arrows fired from a 60 lb draw weight

You know, I was really upset when I first started this video and realized you weren't making it out of a real horn. I almost stopped the video twice but I stuck it out, which I usually won't. OK, a bit of an attempt of humor on my part, but the compliments are genuine. I got my horn for free. It needs a real good cleaning before use, and I lined it with "pitch" so it doesn't taste like "horn" :- ]

@@rocketeer7286 I dont know where the EpicWorkshop guys are from but in some countries (like my own) it can be incredibly difficult to get unless you import which costs wayyyyyy too much
I am from Croatia, here to get them I have to pay more for shipping then damn horn...
@@EpicWorkshop I know the pain! In England if I buy something from another country and it's over £20 9/10 it gets stopped by customs so you have to pay an additional fee and added English tax. Plus making these horns look really fun

And also it depends on you because for the etc. helmet you need a hell lot of time to make and If you would charge the man-hours and materials that went into that piece it would cost more than a real metal one hahahah 😂 😂, for pipes, haircombs or other things it would be okay 👌
