Watching the colours mixing and him putting the silicone through the rollers was surprisingly satisfying.
I always thought these kinds of things were made with injection molds or something. I didn't realise the silicone was so similar to putty 😲

Things are more precious when you know that a person so lovingly made it and you don't even know them. People forget that the things they throw into a cart at the store was once raw materials that a machine maybe didn't assemble.

Well for some processes, no matter how technology can improve, they just cant be labour improved
I was absoulutely transfixed watching all the steps in the process. It is such a labour intensive process, and so many machines used. Thoroughly enjoyed this. Thank you for sharing your work with us. 😊

I guess I'd never thought about the sort of craftsmanship that goes into things like this. People look at something, see it's made of plastic and has that kind of flawless look, and forget that a person had to put it together that way.

You know better, this is the factory sample workshop, the equipment for pressing silicone alone is nearly $80,000
