- Join me up to Alaska as I take a hotshot load up there!!
Yes, I have a direct customer all the way up to Alaska. Not ideal but after all the times I’ve driven the route to Alaska through Canada why not make it a profitable one?
Part 1 is just getting the load and heading out. Part 2 will be the journey up there and I’ll try to keep it short, if not I’ll make a part 3 as well. And then I might even make a part 4 for the load back.

Hey, tavis, love your videos. I had a few questions to run non cdl what is your combined gvwr for your truck and trailer? If u can tell me the length of trailer and the gvwr of your truck and also the trailer separately. I'm trying to get I to hot shot and want to know what my trailer should be and my truck. I heard it'd 26k for both is that correct??
What was the total weight on your trailer this trip? Do you ever suspect that shippers have told you way less weight than a given load is? At that point do you find a close scale to weigh?
Total weight is about 7k pounds. Yeah I’ve run into it a lot actually. More often it’s under the weight they say than over. Yeah if something feels off I scale immediately
