@Chris I don't either, but a company like Creality should be able to afford to launch their product without using a crowd-funding website. It's also worrisome selling tons of printers without major reviews and comparisons.

I know you're going to be doing a review of the prints themselves probably next few days but this video alone convinced me this will be my first 3D printer and decided to back it earlier this evening. Everything about this seems more streamlined for 2020 standards. The handle, the spool attachment, the ease of setup, the price, even the built in tool drawer is extremely appealing and the build volume is just big enough. Thanks for the great content and look forward to test print results

Yesterday, my nephew and I were talking about jointly buying a Prusa MK3S (he's in mechanical engineering). Then I saw a comment on a forum about this printer and checked the kickstarter page and this review. An hour later I was a backer. This morning I told him I had ordered a printer, and since it's half the price of the Prusa, told him to keep his money and I'd pay for it. He's already looking for stuff to design. ;)

    Hi there
First of all. Great video! It's been a few years since I've had my last 3d printer. It was early stage, so sold it and waited for the 3D printers to improve. Now is the time. Were going to buy a Prusa MK3s when Creality annouced this bad boy. Went for it. This video is making my fingers tiggle. Can't wait.
A few improvements I would like to see from what you've shown in your video is:
    Software:
    - Make it so that the buildplate would go to the front when print is done, so that you dont have to make the plate move like you do at 14:38 .
On some printers it can fry the electronics, since your generate electricity when moving the plate.
    Hardware:
    - Change the micro-usb port to a USB-C port (see: 13:06 ) It's 2020 for god sake.
    - Either include a SD-Card reader or add the possibility to use a USB stick (See: 13:06 ).
    - Maybe even wifi controlled like when accesing the settings of a router from browser with 192.168....
    Other than that. Seems great.
Let me know what you think folkes, so that maybe we can make it happend.

Why they didn't use the better bowden tube is beyond me... would like to see a hotter nozzle It would also be nice to see a model that has the extruder motor on the nozzle to minimize the bowden tube.

Looks good. I bought an Ender 3 Pro a month ago but if this were available I might have bought this. It has pretty much all the machine upgrades I have on my to-do list except for a direct drive extruder. Well done Creality, just switch to a direct drive extruder and make it perfect.

I have a Creality ender 3 pro, and was a 100% complete noob to 3D printing. And I can tell you, I've made a ton of fun stuff with it. With ZERO knowledge. Creality makes a great printer in my inexperienced opinion.

hey, thanks for the great video!
Continuing on with the creality theme, could you do a first impressions or review on the ender 5 plus please? I was thinking of buying it but wanted to know what your experience with it would be like and what opinion you have before I purchase it

There are a number of 5 Plus reviews out. I have had mine for over 6 months and it is a beast, the extra build area is very handy. I have upgraded most of the parts and it is my workhorse.

I'd love to see you out it through it's paces with various materials like HTPLA, PETG, maybe TPU. Do you have any materials that would need 260C at a sustained time to see what heat creep might be like? How well does the new glass bed handle these temperatures and materials for ease of adhesion without glue etc, how well prints release afterward etc.

Creality FTW. Because they know we're super nerds who are going to go over the thing with a fine tooth comb as soon as we get it out of the box. Love the secret drawer.

To be honest this does look to be Creality's best printer to date. Tons of improvements. I flexible spring steel PEI sheet would be very welcome as an optional printing bed. I know some folks swear by the glass though so whatever works I guess.

After purchasing an Ender 3 pro for work, i was going to get one for home as well. But with the Ender 3 Pros currently out of stock (and those in stock on amazon are double the price), i was excited to back the CR-6!

This is certainly very interesting. I love my Ender 3 Pro and I have only upgraded the extruder and bed springs and added a few accessories. It prints perfectly with PLA, but I could not get it to print PTEG (it's a mystery). The upgrades on this design are perfect! Love that they have dual worm screws for the Z-axis. The touch screen is soooo much better than the push-button control, and that drawer is handy dandy for sure! Also, they changed from a Micro SD card to a full size SD card. Having the filament on the side is also a very nice improvement. I am planning to purchase a second printer that I will set up for PTEG. Looks like I will wait for this new printer to come out!

Interesting that you like the lever style extruder drive... My very old Replicator 2X came with similar extruders, and upgrades to spring loaded, squeeze to release, are some of the most popular printed upgrades. It all goes full circle...

I loved your review, made me finalize my purchase on Amazon.
Just got my second printer (after the first one I had to send back because motors wouldnt move). The second one has arrived and its working. I am happy about the machine, I have 3 old replicator2 from makerbot and I felt it was about time to get fresh machines.
However, traveling speed while printing is really slow using their slicer, I saw that you can speed it up but i felt like asking you before.
Do you think is smart to print faster? I use it for small batched of production for my business, I am used to the speed from the makerware software and its double from this one.
What sofware do you suggest for slicing? I saw the new cura doesnt support this model yet. Should I keep using their software and increment speed?
    Best,
    Orlando
    PS. Love your reviews
