guys, I'm telling you, the red lipsticks were created for Taylor
Ikr
Agreed!
Frrrrr
This is so true
Yep I so agree
When she re-records this song she should definitely keep the electric guitar.
Yeah. And do a version of "knew you were trouble" with instruments the whole way through. There has to be a decent drummer and bass guitarist somewhere who would like to collaborate with her.
We sure are excited about the re-recordings. Aren't we?
Why wouldn't we be?
@@deltab9768 i haven't heard people talking about it much so i was thinking it is just me and so i kinda went on to type a comment to just confirm it😅
AND WE ARE NEVER EVER GETTING BACK TOGETHER
Petition for her to make a guitar driven album. She'd smash a rock record
Yeah this sounds so great. While she re-records everything, she should do more versions like this!
Pop equals money
I need this so badly.
THIS!!!! I’ve been having this in my wildest dreams for about a decade!!
She has a couple of rock songs (State Of Grace, Haunted, Eyes Open) but I would love an entire record with actual instruments!
this is probably her best live performance of all time.

Undoubtedly 🔥
It is !!!
Check out the violin version if you have not already.
That’s not unpopular: THATS JUST FACTS
That’s a straight fact. The electric guitar makes it
7 years and this still is the best live performance of wildest dreams
its unreal
Any song turns magical with an electric guitar, piano or a violin/cello. And it's a very well written song.
Eh. I think I like the 1989 tour one that’s mashed up w enchanted better. Just my opinion though.
Sarah mcleod version is the best
You guys don’t realize how HARD it is to sing this song LIVE, she did that! Proves her talent. 👏🏼👏🏼
yah man
Well it's her sung should be able to sing it live
Says a person that has probably never sang before
She wrote it, probably live and with a guitar. She got this.
Yep, chester Bennington was talented too

Newly converted T Swift fan here. I reluctantly went to the Eras tour movie thinking I’d have to suffer through it. I was admittedly one of those dudes that just chalked up all of her music to whining/lover scorned type of genre. Within 10 minutes of being at the movie, the only thing I could do was shake my head for never giving her a chance all these years. She’s a once in a generation talent. No one alive comes close to her. Picks up any instrument and sings any song with her whole heart and soul like she wrote it yesterday. It’s surreal.
Same, I feel I cheated myself out of something so magical. I'm old and I haven't heard songwriting like this in forever.
Yes I thought she was just wrote some catchy youthful pop songs, harmless but nothing amazing. She has some unbelievably beautiful songs with so much depth
As a longtime Swiftie I have to say I love seeing posts like this
I'm with you! Recent Swiftie convert. She is brilliant.
Brother, she’s reasonably talent sure.. but to say “no one alive comes close to her” is a confession of not being exposed to a lot of musicians.. there are tons and tons of artist whom can do the same thing but at a far higher level.. Taylor doesn’t exist in a industry of bums, there are other deeply talented musicians with more talent than her… go watch Ben Howard performances from 2012-2015… and tell me that isn’t an artist/performer that can “come close to her”.
Her voice is so angelic, and she has complete control over a wide range. Wow!
You have low standards
Yep! Her voice is soooo underrated. I love it so much.

Honestly not a huge fan of her standard music, but a slow rock version of her songs like this is something I’d take a listen too. This is fantastic
Watch the tiny concert, Washington dc
Her songs can be reimagined in anyway. I’ve seen rock covers and it fits. Honestly, I kinda wish she’d do more with this sound.
you need to listen to Ryan adams versions of 1989. He record his own version of the album (track for track) with Taylor's blessing. It's fantastic, and really cool to hear the songs reimagined by another great artist. They're the same songs, but different at the same time.
i can’t get over how clear her voice sounds… it fits just so perfectly with the guitar too.
I like how the whole audience was silent until Taylor stopped singing!

I love TS delivered what she sang
Her duet w/ Stevie Nicks went pretty wrong though you must admit. Not a shot at her just the truth.
Many pop singers can't sing especially for these days where tech can hide everything. Some pop artistes who can sing use vocal exercises thrown in their lines to bluff you into thinking they are 'expert' singers which is commonly known as wibbly wobbly singing.. Mariah Carey being the most annoying of them..lol. Taylor has a great voice which has improved as she has gotten older although her early singing voice was great too with an authentic twang that I loved. I wish she grew her hair back to those long curls again.
Taylor Swift has the most beautiful voice I've ever heard honestly. She is also breathtakingly beautiful. What a phenomenal combination. Through the years, her music has been so therapeutic for me as a single mom. And this song in particular is so very special to me....Thank you Taylor Swift 💛💛💛

I’ll never understand how people say this woman can’t sing. This performance alone should confirm that. She’s a brilliant performer and songwriter.
Even if you don’t like her music you can’t deny her talent.
In all fairness.. her voice is her weak point.. the audio on this performance has gone through post production and cleaned up and it’s still not the sharpest..
@@Keithjames153it has net gone through production tho. It is her actual voice and I know this cus my uncle was in the crowd that day 🙃
Keith James, how would
You know that??
@@sarak2681 because you can hear it.. for example there is 0 room noise which would suggest they did some noise removal (only speculating this one)… but it’s obvious the audio has been compressed because the louder notes don’t actually register as being significantly louder than the quieter parts, which suggest the audio has been compressed.. plus the guitar and voice are perfectly mixed and don’t even almost clash with each other which means it’s been equalized.. and the vocals come across too clear.. even if they didn’t use any pitch correction on her voice it’s obvious it’s gone thru post production simply by how clear it is.
Sound engineers are employed for a reason.. if audio naturally came across this clear there would never be any need for them.
@@Keithjames153 yes. Once you know, you can't un-hear the compression, the noise gate, and the carefully applied reverb that changes constantly. Now, this could have been done live, but probably not. actually, these effects could have been applied both live and post. in any event, these are not "dry" vocals.

I think pop performers really underestimate the importance of performing live and the different versions it gives us and how special it is to really see them sing into a microphone and play an instrument as Taylor clearly does here. I like Taylor swift but I just want to point out a fault in your comment. Most singers can play an instrument and sing simultaneously, it's really common, Just saying. Taylor has a good voice but it's not amazing. She does have a very small vocal range. But that doesn't matter though because she produces good music and is a good musician.

Takes guts to sing this live. No idea how she had no voice cracks or breaks or at all
I hate to spoil it for you, but there's real time post processing of her voice. That is to say, in popular slang, it's autotunes in real time from the mic feed. You can spot this if you just listen her hold a note. There's no perturbation that's normally present in human voice as it's been fixed.
@@TactileCoder I agree, there might be some post production that had been made in her vocals in this performance. You can spot it during the high falsetto top note at the end of the chorus but this doesn't change the fact that she performed this really well. Despite the minimal processing, you can still hear her raw voice. If we're going to remove all the post production processing in her vocals, the result would still be pretty similar.
Practice
@@TactileCoder oh. Well. The more you know I guess
it's called being a singer. and also one who makes millions
Wow, this is maybe my more favorite version- you can really hear how raw and skillful her voice is. Go off Taylor.
I wish she would have had this version with 1989 Taylor's Version! That Electric Guitar 🎸 Is Unreal With Her Voice!
This performance cured my acne
i wish. good performance but im still ugly 8-) 8-(
You're beautiful. Have a lovely day.
hahaha lol
HAHA!
lmfao
Big Machine have messed up by not releasing an acoustic album yet, Taylor sounds fantastic when it's acoustic and stripped back. Taylor has one more album and a greatest hits left in her contract with BM, she should release an acoustic album instead of a greatest hit, it shows of her vocal ability much more.
+137rtekke iKR, that would be great if she will release acoustic version of 1989. Wait, are you the same person from BB comment section?
Maz Max I hope she does that too but then I feel like the 1989 era will have gone on for too long. I hope she releases an acoustic album of the sixth album a year after it's released or at least choose all her hits and record them acoustically. And yes, I am :-)
137rtekke I hope so, i heard she may not doing nothing for 7 months, What's that supposed to mean? Or will she release an album on October?
Maz Max It's hard to say. She said in an interview early last year that she doesn't know how long it will take to make the follow up to 1989, it could be six months, a year, two years or longer. Then she said in an interview that she will probably take a break for a year at least because she feels she deserves a break and people deserve a break from her and her music. Then at the end of the 1989 Tour on Apple Music she said she hasn't planned anything for 2016. I think she will take some time off but then get bored and want to go back to music, so then she will record her sixth album and release it later this year or early next year. I hope so anyway, I want new Taylor music and a new tour.
137rtekke Actually if you noticed, she never really break two year and then always release new album, i think it's just about 3-6 months she didn't do anything, like on 2014, she was still on tour by the end of May when she did the last leg of her Red Tour in Asia, so i think she needs to break with a full year or more without doing anything about music and then come back with better album since i'm not sure she'll win Grammy for AOTY.
Became a Swifty this week after a friend of many years forced me to listen. Just incredible stuff.
WILL ALWAYS COME BACK TO THIS! ONE OF HER BEST PERFORMANCES!
"Great singers aren't the loudest. Great singers MOVE you"💕
-Kelly Clarkson
But she also in the loudest ones
@@macydylan1782 That's not the point
@@johnland8372 i didn't say it is so? Just never mind its getting awkward
So very true.
This is the kind of crowd that we need at concerts, not too many people, relatively small stage and no screaming fans. Artists should have more acoustic concerts where the audience can enjoy the music and hear every word without the deafening speakers too 👐🏼
Beautiful rendition of the song by the way! ❤️
+Katherine Neill Yes. I really enjoy Justin Bieber's music and his voice is incredible, but I'll never go to a live show of his because it'd just be screaming girls and I wouldn't be able to enjoy his voice. These types of shows are the best. I wish all artists had shows like this and had like an age restriction of like 18 and over lmao.
+Dess Gerrard exactly!
+Katherine Neill without phones...

If there weren't screaming fans her massive fans would never see her live. Also, artists prefer having passionate fans at concerts. Maybe, like Taylor, they can do a variation but overall at least Taylor loves it when the stadium is filled with volume.
Now I agree, I think artists should do more acoustic concerts, but the massive stadium concerts are just as important.
Finding this in 2024. It's about time, but I'm here now!
5 years late but damn she’s talented
How many years have passed, this wine will only taste better !
It's refreshing to see her just with guitar.... It's been awhile Taylor
Not really she performed acoustic version of her songs in Hamilton Island and she played acoustic in her concerts.
+fAshSon she had an acoustic set on tour at every show
+Anniebelle 1414 "acoustic set" you mean ONE song every show
+Maria b13 I would not count clean as an acoustic number. However I'll give you Love Story... and no, it was either a 1989 bonus track OR a throwback song, not both. so I stick with what I said, ONE acoustic number (aka one song with the guitar) lol
+Maria b13 she only used a guitar for you are in love, she just sang Clean, no guitar used.
Taylor is the real deal. She can get on stage by herself and deliver a flawless studio quality vocal, live.. While also playing guitar on that same level.
I love how all her live performances of songs are so unique. It makes them so worth listening to for a little change up. I'm sure it's like that fot many other artists but I think she does it best. One thing for sure is that no matter how much time passes, I will always love her and her music and she will be my favourite singer, songwriter, and musician.
I think Taylor should release an album with less effects (with just an instrument and her vocals)! This is amazing!
yesss
I like her accoustic version than the amped up studio version for some songs.. I’m sure it’ll be a hit like her prev albums
Check out her NPR Tiny Desk Concert
