Hey Dustin, just wanted to say that your channel was one of the reasons I got a Gravel Bike, seriously. I was very into it the last months while I was living in Germany. I got so many amazing views and super cool experiences with other bikers. Last week I had an accident with the bike and broke my shoulder. I will have to do a small pause to recover but watching your videos has been amazing therapy, can't wait to go back on the bike.

I broke my Tibia gravel riding Father's Day and it was Dustin's videos and others that got me through. We can get through anything.
This was about as awesome to watch as I thought it would be. Every trip teach you something new. Now you know you need to figure out how to rig up some rope to make a clothes line to hang stuff up to dry. Stoked for you and this makes me want to start looking at vans again.

If you get used to the RV camper I bet you will be willing to give bikepacking a try, it's a lotta fun. Sleeping in the cold is way healthy, I never heat my home except in the dead of Winter and I shut the heat off when I go to bed. I make Kombucha, kind of a hassle but it's a hell of a lot cheaper than buying it and I can make it organic. I took a break cuz I moved so my scoby is sitting in the hotel at the moment. High Five!
I'm planning to van camp across the country for my 50th birthday in 2 years and go on a bunch of gravel rides all over. Can't wait after seeing your video.

sooo reminds me of living on a narrow boat... i used to cycle back in the rain but there was no way of drying my clothes properly - the woodburner only give off enough heat to warm the air (you'll know what i mean) when i started dating (whilst living on the boat) my only requirement was that 'she' must have a tumble dryer !!
Perhaps at the end of each camping excursion you toss a recipe at the end, kombucha, brownies, cookies, etc. Just a thought. You could be the next "Insert Famous Chef" but with bikes too!

Well here are some questions from someone who lives in the city; 1.Did you ever think a grizzly would jump out of the woods? 2. Any UFO or Bigfoot sightings, I keep thinking I would wake up at 3am and the camper would be shaken back and forth and a large growl would occur. 3. How did the bike perform ? Do you have tubeless / sealed tires ? That terrain was difficult...
I can’t wait till this dude is 80 and going on excursions with his micro camper van & uploading videos straight into our subconscious VR thingy, lol

cold..? wet..? get yourself a good wool blanket (preferably soft) or a down camping quilt (down will stay dry in the camper and keep you incredibly warm) . or you could just bring a warm friend. :) Ride Safe . PEACE

But mine is fiberglass.
@@EverythingsBeenDone Any non-insulated material will draw your warmth out of you, I can't go into detail about every single piece of material your camper is made of but insulation is key to warmth. It's very difficult for anyone to keep a piece of metal, etc, the size of a camper, warm! Thus sleeping outside should consumes less energy!

Take cable housing or a bike cable and make a clothes line. ..or string but you know bike stuff is cool.

Have you considered foam board insulation? that might help to keep the temp manageable. I used it in boats in the past. And a camper is just a boat on land if you thank about it.
Sure, Kampuchea recipe would be great. As for the camper....... My wife and I recently went to Richmond, Va. from De. On the trip home we saw some SWEET motorhomes. I thought geeeeee, Dustin could use a small upgrade, they ranged in price from about $100K to a cool, very affordable, better sit down, $700K. I was stunned. I bought two and will email yo yours....
