If we assume that Oda didn't just randomly came out with a name Binks, we can try to put katakana ビンクス into kanji. Bin is most likely 便 - mail, letter, message and Kusu is probably 樟 - camphor tree. The largest and oldest tree in Japan is Kamo no Okusu and it's a Camphor Tree! They are believed to be inhabited by spirits and Shimenawa's are placed on them. The Sacred Tree on Onigashima was probably a Camphor Tree. It's also known that people can make alcohol from sap. My guess is that Bink's Sake is a "Sap" from a Sacred Camphor Tree that contains knowledge of the past. BinKusu - 便樟 - message+sacred tree - Tree of Knowledge. May be people tried to spread the knowledge contained in the Eve Tree and made Adam Tree or Ohara - which is literally a Tree island.
When you go to the wikipedia page for camphor under the Uses tab, it describes how camphor was a highly valuable resource in Taiwan before & during Japanese colonisation. Knowing all the different regimes and occupations of Taiwan, I wouldn't be surprised if One Piece has some intentional parallels. Camphor may be more relevant than I ever would have thought, even just as an analogy
This is the channel I looked for. Nowadays most "theory" channels just make big claims with ZERO evidence. They just discuss their fanfiction and mistakenly label them as "theories". But they barely touch the source for backing up their claims. But your videos are really well made and I'm looking forward to see how much of your theories will be seen in the manga soon
I just read the new chapter. The VEGAPUNK wine bottle at the middle of the island really stands out. I kept thinking about you throughout the chapter. So grad that I found your channel and thank you for sharing these theories.
The pink cheeks could also allude to the fact that most people with Asian roots usually lack a gene that helps process alcohol, which leads to pink/flushed cheeks when drinking (which is why it's an almost exclusively manga signifier for drunk characters), if the whole island of Egghead is laced with Bink's sake then everyone is in a perpetual state of exposure to alcohol
"somewhere in the endless skies, stormy winds are blowing high waves are dancing evening comes, its time to sound the drums but steady men and never fear, tomorrows skies are always clear so stomp.your feet and clap your hands till sunny days return" i mean, idk about "binks sake" being an actual substance used to make everything important, but this song is definitely about joyboy #1 and the void century.
Recently rewatching Wano i have come to a conclusion that Nika was neither a Bucanneer or Lunarian nor even a Human, he was a Monkey, that ate the Hito-Hito nomi and was the first devil fruit user to awaken the true power of a Devil Fruit, ascending him into a God of the Sun trough his natural control of Haki, because the fruit has the 3 types of power, Paramecia, Zoan, and even Logia allowing him to control certain elements acording to the status of Enlightenment he has (the gears) trough his Haki
Since Oda said everything is logical except things influenced by devil fruits. I think that the Pyrobloin was created by someone with the baku baku no mi, just like wapol-metal. Which would explain why Oda still keeps him in the story after even having his own cover arc. Oda is not done telling the story of the baku baku no mi...
Oh wow! This is the kind of theory I really like! Personally, I think it's quite plausible. Given how many times Oda-sensei has explained Pyrobloin in the story, I have no doubt that it's a unique method that exists only within the manga!
10:46 What if kaido and bigmom also get the same durability of poneglyph and lunarians! The high temperature of volcanic magma where they fall and pyrobloin being present in wano ( as pagaya states pyrobloin reaches sky through volcanic eruption, so there must be pyrobloin present in the magma of wano ) which creates the same scenario as poneglyph's making process
They're confirmed dead. Also their durability is conquerors Haki coating. This was literally explained and as to why Big Mom becomes vulnerable when she loses focus because it makes her drop her coating.
@@blowc1612umm source?? You'd literally have to have 1 ig point to think that kaido and big mom really got killed off like that even before kidd and law defeated big mom zhe said this won't be the last time you see me
I think your nika friut theory about pyrobloin is right. If Dragon is partially based on Tlaloc, the Aztec rain god, whose progeny are clouds, then it explains it. Nika isnt rubber but pyrobloin clouds. Dragons fruit is the fruit of the rain god.
Imu and the Gorosei are The Lizard People ( not from earth ) Shape shifting humanoid like.. Controlling the World from the shadow.... Sapphire Scale or known as Dragon Scale..
The giants on little garden were also ,,frozen” in the wax of mr 3 also hinting to the weakness to coldness. ( I think everybody is weak to coldness and it’s a little of a reach but it’s still playing in the cards of the theory)
there's a song sung by tatsuro yamashita and bread & butter titled "pink shadow" i wonder if that has any connection to one piece. i don't know what the song is about. but you can hear the song's title being repeated.
Yes yes yes. I felt it in my bones that something was up with this song. Legends and stories are told through songs. And music is as old as humanity. I am so hyped to watch this
Im stuck on the idea that the poneglyphs are hardened by powerful haki. My headcanon is that the ones who wanted to send a message to the future encased themselves in stone, sacrificing themselves. But in the end imbued the stones with their last wills and this is why poneglyphs have "voices".
Although, i enjoyed this video, it did click untill i found my note just after this 😅 and it was about pink theme. Sakura yes, but also noticed the same theme is connected to wano as a whole but also through how they describe haki - flow of Sakura - isn't that correct? What meaning is there? Is there any nuances in translating it?
I interpreted the divine comment before the duel as more of a reference to it being a near death experience as he was already so close to dying. Especially in their culture where battle and a glorious death are considered holy. (based off the explanation provided as to why their dual has lasted so long and why they took it seriously )
This made me curious if metal objects, like the poneglyphs, could be dyed. I found that typically temperature is the most common way to change the color of metals, but a substance called “alcohol ink” is apparently used to dye metal with great effect.
Shanks commenting on the alcohol from his place, makes me think some sake from Mariejois could have a special property. Devil fruit trees watered with Celestial sake? 🤔 Would the Eternal Flame also be related to the pyrobloin somehow?
Very good explanation! I think you forgot to add Wapol into the liquor + iron equation. He got rich by developing a new material out of liquor. Was it like that?
Hi When I mix blue and red you will get pink! It's probably hint about the last island which can be truly reached when u have combined blue and red ponegilifes
Hey, I have a theory I'd like to share. It suggests that Mihawk might die at the end of the series. Let me elaborate briefly. We all know the legendary "Barrel Scene" where everyone reveals their dreams, and I think it's safe to say that these dreams come true. Ruffy's dream will be realized at the end of the series, and everything else is apparent. Usopp has already fulfilled his dream. A few years ago, he played pirates with children, and now he's a crew member of an emperor with a bounty of 500 million. Nami's dream is essentially fulfilled when the crew reaches the last island. She might need to travel a bit more. Sanji's dream will be fulfilled when Luffy destroys the Red Line, as predicted by Shirley. Once the Red Line is gone, the seas won't be divided, creating the All Blue. The All Blue is not a specific place but rather a desire for a world reunification and the destruction of the Red Line. What about Zoro's dream? To become the world's greatest swordsman, he would have to defeat Mihawk. I can't currently imagine the context in which they would fight. A sort of friendship has developed between them. What scenarios are there? Perhaps they'll meet in the final war, but for them to seriously fight, Mihawk would have to be on the World Government's side, which is currently unlikely. Another scenario could be that the Egghead arc reveals the World Government's secret, and the Holy Knights no longer need to hide. If the World Government or the Holy Knights were to attack someone, I think it would be the Crossguild, as they specifically target Marines, posing a serious threat to the World Government. In this context, Mihawk could be defeated or killed by Figarland Garling, and Zoro would then defeat or kill Garling in the final war. During the epic meeting between Shanks and Whitebeard, Whitebeard mentions that Shanks' face makes him feel Whitebeard's scars. I now assume that Whitebeard refers to Figarland Garling, not Roger, which speaks to Garling's strength. The last scenario would be a fight between Zoro and Mihawk after all events (Elbaf, BB, fall of the WG, finding the OP). I have to say, it would be a strange fight. Therefore, I suspect Zoro doesn't have to defeat Mihawk to become the world's greatest swordsman but rather defeats Mihawk's conqueror. What do you think?
Russians or Slavic or scythe people are totally Elbaf here, thanks for mentioning) This is why Slavic looking Sanji is not only full of love and smart and strong and controls flames also and has some unusual body strength like poneglyphs) Maybe Zoro becomes stronger because of the sake ahah

Also in real life people have drunk alcohol to warm themselves. This is why vodka is so popular in Russia where it is cold. So there is a possible connection between Binks Sake and pyrobloin.
Bink's Sake is the One Piece that's why Roger laughed, he has heard the song. Also Binks was the former JoyBoy hence his Sake being the treasure JoyBoy left. If we all throwing out thoeries, that's mine lol
my personal theory is that the poneglyphs are coated in haki, the blue ones are coated in armament haki, the red ones coated with a combination of conquerors haki and armament haki, with the pink one you theorize coated in all three colors of haki added and mixed together, the reason i think the poneglyphs are coated in haki is that roger "heard them". seperate theory; in our world if you add 1 oxgen atom to 2 hydrogen atoms you get water, from there I theorize that seastone gets it's properties from the pyroblone you brought up in combination with salt/sodium, i chose salt because in occult fiction salt has purification properties against devils and the supernatural, furthermore the ocean has tons of salt and devil fruit users are weak to ocean, with gecko moria's zombies weak to salt. special bonus; for some reason when you brought up kitetsukou as a form of liquor mineral/ore, it made me think of liquorish, or the "red vine" candy, dont know why my brain went there though...
