The "Smartest Man" in One Piece cannot be outsmarted by anyone even the Gorosei themselves. Like how Vegapunk outsmarted Saturn with Kuma and the Pacifista's command codes. By hiding Imu in a direct potential threat was conducted to avoid an increased potential loss to the potential enemy. Just like in the game of Chess avoiding checkmate.

I think to understand the Gorosei more we need to watch or study Brooks abilities more....... In fact i think Brook is one of the few who knew about the Gorosei because this man has been a pirate even lomg before Roger. I was just thinking about something: what if the Gorosei are like the zombies on Thriller Bark? They will keep tanking damage and can only be really hurt after a certain condition is met (like salt for the zombies). Egghead has had a lot of callbacks to Sabaody, Enies Lobby, etc. but there’s also a lot to think about from Thriller Bark too imo
Brook figures out how to freely travel to the underworld. Sees the elders in human form just chilling beside another summoning circle. Goes back tells the crew. Brook takes zoro/ enma on a little journey to become king.
I wrote this on another video : My theory is that the Gorosei really are animals that ate human fruits, and that the human/devils' will/haki supplanted the animal's will. Chopper is an animal that ate a human zoan fruit, Luffys devil fruit is revealed to be a zoan fruit and upon awakening it is explicitly referred to as Joyboy returning, which reinforces the theme of Inherited will but implies that all devil fruits offer a form of immortality. Sabo ate Aces' fire logia fruit and uses Aces' attacks somehow. As for the tusk turning into blades, I assume it is something similar to Bonney accessing Sun God Nikas power via a distorted future or similarly Chopper adding greater variety to his devil fruit via rumble balls. Chopper's devil fruit grants him his normal deer form, a human form, and his 50/50 form, yet Chopper went on to add more forms, his Monster Point sticks out like a sore thumb. Choppers' Monster point looks like a giant Leshen, which is a mythical creature I would put on par with the monsters that the Gorosei turn into. Basically, the monsters we see the Gorosei turn into are all in their own respective "monster point". if we then assume that they are all awakened zoans it could also explain their durability as that was explained by crocodile back in impel down. EDIT: Leshen are also known as Leszy, Leshy, Leshii, I specifically had the Leshen from Wither 3 in mind sorry about that.
Bonney is Luke Skywalker. She arrives on Egghead with Luffy, Chopper, and Jinbe. Obi-wan, Chewbacca, and Han Solo. When Bonney uses the lightsaber Luffy is lecturing her in old man form. Chopper is our furry. Jinbe is the pilot. Bonney while being grabbed by Saturn: "you killed my father". Obi-Wan adopted Luke when he was 13. The final panel at the end of "Luffy's Dream" is Bonney popping out of the eddy.

Maybe it's between realm of death and alive, something like Davy Jones locker. That's why people gets sick (near death) when they are near Laugh tale. But why only the DF users though. Maybe strong willpower can let you pass through it.
I always thought that Laugh Tale could be a Sky Island and the Road Poneglyphs mark the location of the sea eruption that will send the ship there, or a island-whale and it's its location under the sea, which explains why anyone stumbled on the One Piece by accident 🤔.

My theory: The Gorosei are the wills of the Devil Fruits who fully got control of their human hosts unlike most DF who are controlled by their human users. Hence their powers heavily resembling DF powers, superiority complex and "immortality". This is also why they don't have DF titles, because the fruit has already merged with them.
Maybe Saturn wasn't planning on using his demon form, that's why he came by boat? So maybe they can just teleport to everywhere they want to at any moment? And that's why they are so calmly staying at Marijoa most of the time.. And if Haki is related to willpower, maybe if your will is strong enough and you want to be at or talk to another place immediately, you can conquer space and time too, similar to shanks talking to Greenbull, or the Gorosei talking to each other? Vegapunk was just trying to recreate the past with science, so maybe everyone in the "great kingdom" could do it with strong haki?

Just saw an interesting video about gorosei St. Ju Peter. The video showed some strong evidence that Ju Peter is the only gorosei not from the void century. When you look back at all of the times he speaks, he doesn’t have the same confidence as the other gorosei. When referring to true name of Luffy’s devil fruit, he says “I’ve *heard* that it is the most ridiculous…”, despite the fact that the other gorosei seem to know Joy Boy / Nika personally. Also he was corrected by St. Warcury when he said Sabo was unlucky to be on Lulusia, and Warcury said “No. It was fate.” Also, he was the only one of the elders to question Imu. He asked why Lulusia was chosen to be wiped out. Other oddities include: he has scars, he looks visibly younger than the other gorosei, and his demon form is from a different mythology. The question is how or why he is a new member of the gorosei, and one theory is that one of the gorosei were killed at God Valley and Ju Peter took his place. That would also explain why St. Saturn was on God Valley that day when he met Kuma for the first time. The reason we would have never heard this is because the government would have sept that under the rug along with any mention of Rocks Xebec, possibly because Rocks himself might have killed the previous gorosei member. That is all just conjecture of course, but I am 100% convinced that Ju Peter is not from the void century at the very least.

My friend and I were talking and we thought maybe since the ancient weapons are all named after planets, and the elders are named after planets, that maybe there are more ancient weapons than we think. The elders could be those weapons incarnate, or perhaps they were humans once that somehow absorbed the ancient weapons. Whatever it its, there is something strange about them.
I have the longest of long shot predictions. The powers keeping the Gorosei invincible will be based on magical chanting. There will be a phrase that entirely disables their abilities and leaving them as normal humans. That phrase will be something nobody would ever expect somebody to say, least of all in front of the most powerful men who rule the planet. The weaker Straw Hats will be beaten down, on their last legs with the strong crewmates just a bit too far behind. "This is it. We're all doomed, it seems. Before we go, I have a request. Nami..." ...could you show me your panties?" Cue the Gorosei screaming as the power floods out of their bodies.

Saturn's use of the immobilization ability has been selective as far as I can tell. Maybe it's tied to Haki, meaning it cannot be used at the same time as other related abilities. Speaking of which, does he not have _Future Sight?_
I believe shanks haki is way stronger. From how I interpret the manga, shanks can suppress df transformations with his haki. If you look back at when green bull was at wano, as soon as shanks haki reached him, his form immediately dropped, and then he was started. People talk down on green bill about this moment, however without his df, green bull is a normal guy. His df makes him essentially immortal, he doesn't seem like the type to scare easy or even need haki for that matter. He will always feel safe, except when his df isn't working, then he's scared and vulnerable.
With saturn smashing the control panel for the mother flame and the flame getting bigger, it looks like dawn dusk has a real chance of one of his predictions actually coming true- egghead blowing up. Since the mother flame is a nuclear reactor, the flame getting bigger means the cooling was damaged and it's starting to burn out of control and a nuclear meltdown is imminent.
In European culture, we have something called "anasyrma." Legends say women could lift up their skirts and scare away evil spirits or stop storms! Perhaps Oda-sensei will use anasyrma with panties to defeat evil?

I believe shanks haki is way stronger. From how I interpret the manga, shanks can suppress df transformations with his haki. If you look back at when green bull was at wano, as soon as shanks haki reached him, his form immediately dropped, and then he was started. People talk down on green bill about this moment, however without his df, green bull is a normal guy. His df makes him essentially immortal, he doesn't seem like the type to scare easy or even need haki for that matter. He will always feel safe, except when his df isn't working, then he's scared and vulnerable.
