Double Fairly also used in New Zealand. There is one called "Josephine" in the museum in Dunedin NZ
Literally just finished reading the article, and magazine as a whole, great video...now to decide where a narrow gauge layout can go

Nice review of a cracking model. However, I must respectfully point out that the Double Fairlie is another of those locomotives that has outside cylinders with inside valve gear. The valve gear on the prototype is located out of sight, between the frames. It is not represented on this model.
An awesome little loco, however very much out of my price range since it's more expensive than my 7mm class 08.
Also I see you're still running them wrong-line for the Ffesty, since they use right hand running...
This poor engine doesn't know whether it's coming or going. I wish I could buy everything you make.

One of the first Double Fairlie locos was named Janus after the Roman God with two heads facing in opposite directions. That's where we get the name for January from as it's looking back to the old year and looking forward to the new year.
