Thanks for checking out one of our latest builds! I wish I could have given you the full tour! Thanks for capturing and sharing your first day at the Rattlesnake Bike Park!
hell yeah man...I like the outlook of knowing your limit in the current ride and knowing your limit overall. Smart to not risk anything, but I loved this video, this is what got me into your channel from Sope Creek, coming off of being sick, riding smart, and leading the way for others, thank you Alex!
Nice to see another bike park in the SE. Congrats on 600K. Who ever thought someone could make a career riding bikes, traveling the world, and having fun.
That was a quick turnaround! You haven't even left for Peru yet. I loved that series last year and I'm glad you get to go again! Bon voyage!!! I absolutely love BP and Chestnut, so a full on ETD park is exciting! Thanks for the preview
This is great for the Charlotte and Columbia metros having a proper bike park closeby. Getting to the mountains takes a lot of time out of the day. I77 traffic sucks though
If you drove down 26 you drove past little ole landrum so I'll make sure to wave at ya next time 😂😂😂 Really happy that SC has a real bike park even if kanuga is closer.
Ordered one of the Fantis tyre inflators with your code from one of your Scotland videos a while back. Brilliant piece of kit so handy to be able to just set the psi no more deflating, using a gauge, adding more air etc. under rated for sure 💯
Great video! I live in Sumter SC about an hour away and can’t wait to go here. Ride mostly at Poinsette State Park near Sumter so this will be a HUGE step up. 👍🏼
Beat me to it! I'm gonna hit it very soon... looks sick! I think you said "this trail is fun" on every trail, haha!!! Great job again giving us a tour!
Dude 13 year old me would be freaking out that Alex even said the word South Carolina, so stoked that there’s a bike park for all us wanna be free riders in sc 😂
Trails look sick, maybe can try to get a trip planed out there for next year, just ordered a GASSGASS Enduro 3.0 cant wait to get it and do laps all day. Ever heading to Nashville, Chattanooga areas let me know.
I honestly had no idea there were jump trails like this in the Southeast... Those are some legit jumps and that tree jump is the most East coast thing ever! 😂
The rear mech/battery will be activated while on the car because of movements. Its better to take the battery off the mech while transporting the bike.
I don’t have transmission, but on my xx1 axs, I can manually push the derailleur into the gear I want without a battery. Not ideal, but better than being stuck in one gear for the whole ride.
Alex Have you ever found that digital pump to have issues putting the correct air pressure in a tire that had the tire valve slightly gummed up with tire sealant?
Alex, Love the content. Can you provide a link for the trail builders? I am trying to get our local town to build some trails and commuting routes here and some design help would be awesome. I am going to council soon about it. Thanks!
I actually prefer when you ride slow to show us a new trail. Give us a better view of the trail. Plus now we can get a full speed version next time you go
@walkerswild just told me I was on here. Hahaha. Did that battery hold up for you all day? It should have been fully charged, I sure hope so! Let me know if I was wrong, but I charged that thing up so you should have been all set.
@@MTB_adventures_with_Sam hey! I actually got a solid 2 minutes of action or something...hardly any video, posting now. I need to go back and get more GoPro footage, that place is crazy. Steep lips though, I'm no good at BMX-y type jumps so I have some work to do.
TELL ME THIS IS SHUTTLE ACCESS!! only a few seconds in and something told me to google map it. I'll take that 6 hr drive! I drive 9 to beech mtn and 10 to wildside. EDIT: LMAO nm! Ohhh yes.. another one to add to my list. I'm not about that pedal life 😅 if only I had watched to. A minute and a half
If you are casing everything and you’re well above an average rider then my view is the builders were over aggressive in the build. I guess it’s built for the locals who can session everything to get speeds right.
I talked to the trail builders at Berm Park. My friends and I said Bear County was a pretty hard "blue" if not "blue/black" and they said it was an easy blue 🤷🏼♂️. It's all subjective, but I remember 2 people getting taken away in ambulances heading down "Bear County" and none from the top of the mountain.
@ are you kidding me! He travels the world and is an ambassador for mountain biking. If he is casing and not hitting lines without looking and sessioning each jump the average rider will find them most difficult. I agree he is not part of World Cup racing but the single track sampler is an excellent rider.
HELP SAVE THE ZEN TRAIL! From watching your videos as long as I have, I know you are a fan of the Zen Trail here in So. Utah. PLEASE HELP SPREAD THE WORD. The Zen Trail, Bear Claw Poppy and several others are under threat of being destroyed for high density housing. Help stop the development of this area. Agencies are in the final review period. We only have until Dec. 9 2024 to act!!! Even those not living in So Utah can comment on how this is a mountain biking/Tourist destination for you. Access the following link to find out more and how you can help. (won't let me insert the link here, but please all look this up and comment)
Well, almost a whole minute and a half before someone reminds us that there still is far less than zero use for batteries on a bicycle unless you strap your batteries for your headlamp to your frame, have some blinkies for safety in traffic, or a light mounted to the bars for night rides. Otherwise, gtfo with all that lithium-ion BS!!
Thanks for checking out one of our latest builds! I wish I could have given you the full tour! Thanks for capturing and sharing your first day at the Rattlesnake Bike Park!
While there's Dangerous Dave, here we have the fully relatable, Risk-Averse Alex. I'll be stoked to watch your Peru videos again!
Staying safe when you're not feeling it is a smart move. More stoke fir another day!

Another top quality park in the southeast, looks awesome! Perfect for those colder months when freeze thaw gets bad in WNC.
That was a quick turnaround! You haven't even left for Peru yet. I loved that series last year and I'm glad you get to go again! Bon voyage!!!

that park looks SICK. That wallride at 19:45 looks so perfect and low energy! You absolutely got that.
I see you passed 600k brother... Awesome, so stoked for you.... Keep er goin' bud
My boy @ScottsMTB coming through in a pinch!
Those hits are massive! Enjoy Peru!
If you drove down 26 you drove past little ole landrum so I'll make sure to wave at ya next time 😂😂😂
Really happy that SC has a real bike park even if kanuga is closer.
Good stuff Alex! I made it out there last Sunday. This place will definitely be a go-to for me!
Ordered one of the Fantis tyre inflators with your code from one of your Scotland videos a while back. Brilliant piece of kit so handy to be able to just set the psi no more deflating, using a gauge, adding more air etc. under rated for sure 💯

At 13:04 i almost got a heart attack, it looked like you were about to hug a tree
Ok so it wasn’t just me then, I was shocked when he survived and shocked again when he didn’t say something about it.
No kidding I literally braced for an impact! 😮
That’s great, because SC needs more trails, I was there about three years ago trying to scout more places to ride…most of up in Columbia.
Beat me to it! I'm gonna hit it very soon... looks sick! I think you said "this trail is fun" on every trail, haha!!! Great job again giving us a tour!
It was great to meet you! So cool to have such a great new place to ride only an hour from Charlotte! Have a blast in Peru!!
I was there on opening day and it was a little soft then but the trail designs are great it was a lot of fun!
Those trails look amazing!
Dude 13 year old me would be freaking out that Alex even said the word South Carolina, so stoked that there’s a bike park for all us wanna be free riders in sc 😂
I wonder if we'll ever get modern bike parks here in the northeast. Sure would be nice!
Kanuga and rock creek in nc have some pretty big jumps too, and Jarrods place in Ga probably takes to cake in my opinion
Holy Moly those are some BIG jumps! I better keep progressing at Kanuga before I make my way that way haha!
Venom is SICK
Can't wait for more Peru content. I was just trying to convince a couple of my riding buddies to go on that tour.
New channel??? The single speed sampler😂😂
Looks like there’s a little bit of tech? I followed the build progress and it seemed to be almost all just big jumps. Hopefully more variety.
Little tech 😢, but plenty of jumps, tabletops, and drops. All fast and not very "flowy".
Man, you guys are hauling ass! Well done!
Alex, really amazing your going to Peru again!! Will we see Quinti, hope I spelled his name right, again? Safe travels and have a blast Alex.
Enjoy Peru!
Looks like it's rad AF!
BTW, how's that La Sal Peak holding up?
You've ridden the wheels off that bike this year.
Alex Have you ever found that digital pump to have issues putting the correct air pressure in a tire that had the tire valve slightly gummed up with tire sealant?

Elevated Trail Design. I think they are in Asheville, NC.
Great video.
Amazing video
45 minutes away from asheville theres a downhill park called rock creek, have you been there?
What setup do you use to get clear voice and low wind?
I actually prefer when you ride slow to show us a new trail. Give us a better view of the trail. Plus now we can get a full speed version next time you go
Air Supply at Jarrods Place is still probably bigger
How does it compare to berm park?
What day was that?
Yeah, living in a van, you remember to take the batteries off before every journey.
The LGTBQ+ XYZ thanks you for your contribution!
@walkerswild just told me I was on here. Hahaha. Did that battery hold up for you all day? It should have been fully charged, I sure hope so! Let me know if I was wrong, but I charged that thing up so you should have been all set.
Hay Scott! Did you get your own video of it
@@MTB_adventures_with_Sam hey! I actually got a solid 2 minutes of action or something...hardly any video, posting now. I need to go back and get more GoPro footage, that place is crazy. Steep lips though, I'm no good at BMX-y type jumps so I have some work to do.
You know if you just charge that axs battery for like 10 mins, it’ll last you pretty Much all day
TELL ME THIS IS SHUTTLE ACCESS!! only a few seconds in and something told me to google map it. I'll take that 6 hr drive! I drive 9 to beech mtn and 10 to wildside.
EDIT: LMAO nm! Ohhh yes.. another one to add to my list. I'm not about that pedal life 😅 if only I had watched to. A minute and a half
nothing worse than just having an off day on the bike and it's windy out
