- The Big Rock trail in DuPont State forest outside of Brevard, NC is one of the only places in the region where you get to ride a beautiful ribbon of granite rock. Come with my buddy Nate and I as we shred this as well as a few other trails while working up an appetite for Thanksgiving Dinner tonight!

I'm so stoked to see Nate on cam again. He's one of the most entertaining riders on TH-cam. He somehow steezes everything.
4 solid minutes of flow, I love it! Pretty crazy Nate going from NM to NC, so different
I am SO STOKED for the Peru videos from the trip you're on right now.
Looking forward to your Peru trip videos. The last trip looked amazing!
Nice to see you rockin the Fezzari still. Stoked for you and Peru! Happy trails Alex!
sweet. one of my fav trails around here.
Nice ride dude ; sure must have put a smile on your face after all we’ve been thru ! Enjoy 😎
Nice shreddin'...Happy Thanksgiving.
Nothing better than a good Earn Your Bird Ride with friends
STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOKED
We just got back from Peru, it was amazing. Check out the market food stalls for the best cheap food and if you are near Pisac those ruins were amazing.
Locust and Hilltop are two of my favorite trails in DuPont!
Just recently moved from Greenville SC to Bentonville and I miss Dupont so much. It was great seeing my favorite trails again - Hillside is so underrated! BTW, you were climbing up Cedar Rock, not Big Rock 😁 You guys definitely hammered it down Big Rock, though! I was always too nervous to do that one.
I miss Dupont!
Lookin fast! Those trails are looking good too, I know where my next ride is gonna be now 🤘🏼
When you come back to the Carolinas you need to check out the Saluda Confluence Recreation Area. Some really nice blue trails that are super flowy down in Travelers Rest, SC.
May of 2023 we went up to Dupont and rode these 2 trails but opposite order, rideline first then big rock.
They were the most memorable trails of the trip and I dream of being able to go back to sustained downhill. But I make do with the Tampa, FL abandoned phosphate mine trails, iykyk, the ABC's of Florida
You guys killed it coming down big rock!
Happy thanksgiving and a merry shredsmas
Right back at you bro!
My plan was to ride there on Thanksgiving day but we got rain in the Charolette area and radar showed it came from the west so I didn’t go. Would have been cool to see you there.
So glad I saw this video. I was about to buy a DJI Action 5 but keep seeing this weird flickering on the videos from everyone that uses it. Hero 13 it is!
I rode the 2nd half Friday. That side doesn't look like it took too much damage vs Burnt Mountain side.
Can't wait to see Peru vids!
Yes daring for sure. Riding all of that rock with no elbow pads.
the Fezzari is BACK!!!!
🦃🎉 have fun in Peru 🦙
What model fezzari is that? The orange looks great🙏
Capital city log yard uses the entire tree, lucky not in Oregon you would have to get a permit to do anything with the lumber.
best ridgeline video
Love cedar rock, like it more than big rock 🪨
It's not Thanksgiving dinner if there is no cranberry sauce. Love the video
Holy crap you guys were hauling in the intro
Heck yeah, come back to worldwide cycles lets ride
Alex, that was one heck of a liitle climb at 10:28....30 something seconds and very technical!! How do your lungs do with such elevation in Peru? Your physical strength is good...how is your breathing up in 15k feet?
Leaf and pine straw season...yeah I found that out the hard way...can this be riden by a solid blue trail rider? Looks fun.
Yes.
The big shoot (8:10) is the only part that's a little more challenging. But there isn't anything in DuPont you can't do with Blue skills
I’m a solid blue rider and have only been on a mountain bike for a year (BMX prior) and the chute was the only thing that was a question for me (a friend gave me a heads up prior) but I blasted through it no problem. You got it for sure.
Didn't they make stone mountain hiker only? Happened a couple months ago
Oh noooooo did they?! that was the best trail in all Dupont :'(
@@The_Sampler The DuPont State Recreational Forest (DSRF) multiuse trail system includes single-track trails, double-track trails and gravel roads, all of which are open to hikers, bikers, equestrians, dog-walkers and other forest visitors. Only four trails are closed to horses and bicycles: Hooker Falls Trail, High Falls Trail, Triple Falls Trail, and Grassy Creek Falls Trail.
My invite must have gotten lost in the mail.. ;)
I’m coming off a fractured wrist. Looks like Nate is wearing a wrist brace. Anyway you could find out what type it is for a minion follower?
I weigh 270+. It's funny how quick I catch lighter riders while pumping and coasting downhill
