I'm guessing 33 people who disliked this video must have been looking for egg timer instructions. Clear and informative. What more could you want. Great video.
Everybody is explaining about the pins, but nobody is explaining if the pins and the recent time has to be settled after is plugged into electricity or can be settled up and than to connect to the electricity??? That's my dilema!!!
I'm the least person to understand instructions, even via TH-cam sometimes. Thanks to this video I was able to get it, and if I can get it, you can too. I felt so proud when it worked.
Finally i know how to manage the timer😃👍. Thank you for the info. Its a bit hassle when the timer is fixed by someone who knows and suddenly you got power supply disruption that makes the timer runs off depending on the power cut-off duration. Now i dont have to call in the expert to help me fix the timer.
This is like awesome....my father bought one of these in the 1990`s ....he never understood how it really worked ...I have just resurrected it from a cupboard and it works .
I’ve been searching for a video like this for a LONG time. Finally I found this. It’s a simple thing but *extremely* useful. Very clearly explained! I have never written a comment on TH-cam before but this video made me want to write a review. Thank you so much.
Well thank you for taking the time to write a comment and congratulations on your first one! 🥳 I love reading comments like this, makes it all worthwhile! 👍🏼
This video was very clear explanation , it helps me setting up my socket, otherwise I would take it back to the store to asked them if they could show me how 🤣thanks for the video 👌
Thank you I had to buy one of these off Amazon. No instructions! It’s for my brother he is autistic and has a fibre optic tree in his bedroom I have set this so he can look at it while he falls asleep then it won’t come on until 8 the following morning. That’s if I have done everything right! thanks again 🙂🎄🎄🎄🎄
Thank you CharlieShooters this was most helpful. Yesterday I guessed due to little time & no instructions, achieving the complete opposite schedule required. It's a simple device, once you know how to set it correctly :)
This was really helpful, I had mine set up wrong 😅 I thought the arrow was from WHEN you needed the appliance off not the actual time itself 😅 lesson learned
My dad set one up for me years ago and I had to set one up today for my viv 😅 omg 🤯 thank you so much for this, so easy to follow and very well explained 🙏 uts an up vote frome me 👍😂
Everybody is explaining about the pins, but nobody is explaining if the pins and the recent time has to be settled after is plugged into electricity or can be settled up and than to connect to the electricity??? That's my dilema!!!
Thank you! I have had mine for about 6 months and have had no idea how to use it. I have a older version AC and it doesn’t have a remote and I want to be able to fall asleep to it being nice and cool without it running all night long
Absolutely brilliant and informative video, Thank you. I lost the instruction booklet, the Arrow for the timers were not there ??? Needed to use this for Christmas lights. Thank you, as I had the timer pointing to the top of the plug lol
Very well explained and demo video many thanks .Can these timer switches overheat if in continual use or is a slightly mild warmth to the housing of the device, a sign of faulty device or maybe the wall socket might be the cause especially if wiring is old in the house? . I'm just a little bit worried than when I'm out, if it overheats for whatever reason, be it a faulty device or faulty wall socket / older house wiring, or maybe just the device has lived out it's lifespan ? . Also how many years you think the device lasts before it should be replaced with a new one?
I have never known one overheat. In our house we have one running all the time for the light on the Lizard's vivarium and it has been fine upto now (approx 5 years!)
Very helpful vid 👍 I’ve never understood how these timers work but that’s explained it. I’m considering getting some cheap heaters that have these fitted. Didn’t realize that you can have multiple on/off time slots.
Really well explained ....thank you for a clear and informative vid! I have 2 of these the very same as the one you're using but the actual 'clock' itself has stopped working on one of them. I just wondered whether you think I'd be able to take it apart and repair it at all? Or is it just time to ditch it and buy another perhaps? Thanks for any info/suggestions you may have on this.
I've never opened one up, but I guess it would all be cogs and gears and not something that I'd bother doing. For the price of then I'd buy new! Saying that, it could be something as simple as the switch not working?
@@charlieshooter Hi and thanks for getting back to me. Lol, yes, in view of how much they cost perhaps I was being a bit silly to consider repairing!
