For years I wanted to make cool short movies. It's getting easier to do such thing day by day. Thank you for this motivational video 😊 it inspires me! 😃
To hear that it inspires you is what motivates me to keep going, thank you! The technology is moving so fast for creatives, it's an exciting time. A follow up tutorial on this vid is coming soon :)
Great tutorial except for the Kaiber step, 9 months later and Text to Video is still horrible at best. Maybe Sora may change that, with its own own set of limitations
Hey my scene came out all stretched and out of proportion. Has anyone else’s experienced this? Did I forget something or miss a step? Sorry I’m very noob. 😢
It is not actually converting to 3D. The HDR image if you see contains data for all 6 sides of a cube. UE just takes this image and creates an illusion of 3D. That is why most (if not all) games use HDRIs to create amazing backgrounds.
I have a question: Does hdr file from blockade create real 3d geometry? or is still a 360° image? Because if not It can only be used as cutscene, and not to make a openworld of a 3d game if real geometry is missing
Nice! I just dropped a tutorial showing how to do 3d backdrops with only midjourney, stable diff 1111, and blender to make them photorealistic. Can get up to 16K results with depth mapping
@@retrolightgames Thanks bud! So many cool possibilities. Watching your build a game in 5 min in unreal tut, that's a great one! could be excellent w the comped skyboxes too
Hello there, do you know how it works with Quixel bridge assets in terms of use ? Is it free when I sign up or do I need paid subscription ? Those assets look pretty crisp, so I expect its paid somehow
Quixel Bridge and all the assets is completely free, you are allowed to use them however you want. Just create an account with the Epic Store and you're good to go.
Hey Luke! Cheers, so kaiber acts a bit like a post-processing filter, giving everything a uniform look even if the unreal engine scene is not blended perfectly. Take the rocks for example, in Unreal Engine I did not spend time to blend the rocks to the terrain, but Kaiber makes this very forgiving and most backgrounds just blends in :)
This is f unbelievable... so glad I found this video. Keep it up! One question - When you have the unreal engine video already made what's the need to put it into Kaiber? To get the style changed??
You can scale them to huge worlds, but you loose some skybox quality so it's important to upscale the images first or use generative fill in photoshop to expand the image.
2 outcomes with all this 1: video games become so easy to make that people make their own games for themselves to enjoy and big companies are outta business 2: big companies make such amazing games that there AI high graphic games look like crappy hobby projects
Do you mean if you can turn 2D images from Stable Diffusion into 3D Skyboxes like blockade labs? Yes, it's a bit more complicated as you have to stitch it together but it's possible. If you download an image from Blockade Labs and open it up in a image-editing software (Photoshop or something similar) you can look how the image is constructed. Take your Stable Diffusion images and try to replicate it and then convert it into an HDR like in the tutorial. Hope it helps!
Maybe once they figure out realism, everything just looks like fortnite. Would be nice to have an ai site for creating realistic hdri environments though.
Excellent demonstration of HDR. Blockade labs being able to generate some sweet one is awesome.
Thank you! I could not agree more, blockade labs are cool to give us their tool for free :)
Wow high quality content impressive the amount of knowledge you condensed in 5 mins, keep it up!

@@hitarthpadaliya2621 Good explanation! Cheers
Really cool use of our skyboxes, thanks for the tutorial! 💚
Your product is super, thank you for allowing creators to express. Give the team our best!

Blockade Labs is new to me, I have to check it out
It allows for quick prototypes of ideas, quite wonderful!

does it work for unity?
Man, you're just the Best! Thank you very much👍👍👍👍
Thank you Roman! I appreciate your time :)
That’s just lazy
Great, I am having trouble with the import the hdr images are distorted when I import them
Try to drag the HDR image down with the blue arrow and see if it helps.
Brooooo. Thank you
high hopes for games in 2030 2050
Agreed, but for 2050 I can't even imagine!
Cool video. Why did you put it into kaiber though it didn’t look that different to how it came out of unreal engine?

thanks! super cool! i used runway because kaiber isn't free anymore and i got some good stuff!
Thanks for the tip! I will look into runway as well :)
Why didn't you use the export video vs obs capture? And why did you use Kaiber? For the diffusion aesthetic?
Great workflow, many thanks.
and I'll challenge u AI CHAT DEEPAI only create whole game and apps
Why do you use Kaiber? Can’t unreal engine render a video?
Can this tool help us to creat environments or characters (and rig them) with my own UE 3D assets inside UE5? Please answer, thanks.

One question - When you have the unreal engine video already made what's the need to put it into Kaiber? To get the style changed??
Would be good for visual novel, but not what I'd call a world since you can't move around with an HDRI backdrop unless you want distortion.
What does that HDR background plugin actually do and how does it make the ground have paralax compared to the sides?
Great ! Thank you for this video !
subbed, Nice work!
Cheers!
Great tutorial.. Right to the point ..Thanks
Cheers Johan :)
great tutorial
Thank you!
Great stuff
Thank you!
ima noob and this was perfect. thank you!
Sir do u know how to make a AR movible image
Hello!
This is awesome! Gonna try it with Twinmotion
Does this only work on 5.1?
unfortunately Kaiber is no longer free to try you have to sign up for a subscription
True! I'm going to look into "runway" and "stable" if that could be a free alternative.
Top!!! 👍👍👍 Thanks for this!
Great.Thank you for sharing
very good
How far can you explore on the 3d worlds made by ai ?/ how large are the worlds ?
You can scale them to huge worlds, but you loose some skybox quality so it's important to upscale the images first or use generative fill in photoshop to expand the image.
