What happened with the motor what u did I’m looking but didn’t see a follow up video im about to buy a n/a 13 civic si w a hole in the block wondering i fi could rebuild it with k20 block & k24 top end I know its usually the opposite let me know still looking for a video on what u did or decide to do with this
Try stock first with only a 4 piston exhaust camshaft before you add anything else. I wanna know how much it was being restricted be the small exhaust camshaft. I had a 2015 si and i could tell it was getting all the air and fuel to make power from the factory. Its why the fuel economy sinks like a rock after 4500. Literally, the kept power down by plugging the exhaust and nothing else.
Be good if you got the money to back it up. Intake and exhaust vtec vs just intake only vtec. The only thing missing in the k24z7. Good tune and bolt on or itb. You can't lose. Good luck to you.

You guys really need to snag an engine stand someplace so you don't have to work on the floor all the time. LOL

Just the valve cover is worth 100 bucks nice pick.
You can use acid to clean off the aluminum off the liner and hone/rebuild that thing...

I was always looking for an exhaust camshaft. Then i crashed. 1 month later, 4piston brought one out. And proved to everyone the r40 head does flow.
Can you swap a k24z7 with k20z3 head into fa5 people telling me it's not worth it but I believe 🥲
