Hello Madam, I worked for a company for nearly 7 years up to year 2008. In year 2023, I came to know from my ex-colleague that he is receiving gratuity (once in 3 months some Rs. 4500 it seems) from LIC. But that company was sold twice. When I approached LIC, they told me to contact the employer. I have to submit a document it seems and in that myself and employer has to sign jointly it seems. Nobody is available in that old company now. All of them switched over to different companies. Please advise what can be done.
