I'm from Indonesia and have been using a mixture of cooking oil + engine oil for 6 years with a composition of 50:50, and have never had a problem until now.

I drove the car home after putting regular oil in it. (30 minute drive). The next morning i went to start it and a bunch of valves were stuck open and it smashed them lol! Noooo! Had to scrap it :(
i run vege oil in my 150cc bike daily 200km commute and change it every 2000km for about 2 years now with no noticable problem or excessive wear.
Install an oil cooler, run cooler lines to a deep fryer. See if you can drop fry things.

Olive oil is a vegetable oil! The olive oil has the highest anti-burn rate of all vegetable oils so if I was to use or try anything like this I would use extra-virgin olive oil of course, my favorite in the kitchen is Bertolucci, actually. Funny thing as years ago I sat on the plane next to the president of the Bertolucci Co. Cool dude & was happy at the time beating the Star Oil Co!!

Donnie, extra-virgin olive oil or olive oil in general is really bad with high temps. Ask any kitchen, there's reason it's used for salads and not for frying.
@@Mister_NO. Agrree, the above suggestion seems to try to ruin other people engine. We should only use extra light. But I think a mix of corn oil and palm oil is the best. But work better as oil additive because keep in mind that all engine oil must have additive, and cooking oil do not contain proper additive.
Bertolucci is garbage. They don't sell real olive oil in U.S. grocery stores. If you want actual olive oil, you've gotta either find a European store, or order online. It comes in metal canisters and it's so much better.

I drove it home, parked it and the next day when i went to start it, all the valves got smashed, thy hung open i assume due to the non motor oil we used lol

But on the other hand, how long they drive with those racing oils? Usually a lot less than 3000 miles and the engine still might blow...so maybe this is worth of getting those extra 100 horsepower 🙂
Maybe add the wear additives to your vegetable oil and maybe jojoba oil.

I use palm oil 20% for honda cub motorcycle. I try run 2 hours and i can't tell you the difference.
No different between cooking oil or engine oil. No over heating, no harsh sound, normal.

Lol, i know it wouldnt make a month, after the maple syrup engine oil test i actually drove it home, when i came out in the morning the valves were hung open and they got smashed when i tried to start it lol poor car.

@@Americana777 In here a lot of people get a good result using group 1 oil and 10% palm oil to clean sludge. No need for engine overhaul. Engine flush is already proven to be useless.

Lol no! I actually drove it home like 30 miles and belive it or not a couple days went by and i went to fire it up, and a bunch of valves were stuck open and it smashed most the valves. Checked timing and it was good. Pulled the cover and a bunch were stuck open. Sad deal, wouldve done more with it i was going to do like milk next.
