    I Bought the Kit, worked like a dream. I was unable to reset my belt sensor and this bypassed the whole thing. 4wd actuators actually kick in again, and no more limp mode. Easy to install. Great video

    Got this kit for my 03 , kawasaki 360 works great ,easy to install , had to order the manual 4x4 actuator kit after speaking with Joe as the electronic actuator did not "see or recognize "the by-pass install. All in all my 4 wheeler works great now , GREAT PRODUCT , Thanks SGROI Innovations

    I have an 03 kvf650a2, I have tried everything to get the belt light to reset and get it out of limp, light never changes speed during procedure. Will this eliminate that to where I don't have to do the reset at all and it will run normally after install?

    • @KnightATV
      @KnightATV  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, although you would just need our KEBC delete & hole cover combo, the belt light bypass is for prairie 360's years 2002-2006 only. If the speed isn't changing its most likely your belt switch or the reset procedure isn't being done correctly. With our kit, if the belt light doesn't clear after installation then you will need to perform the belt light reset procedure with our kit installed, it will clear your belt light, get you out of limp mode and you'll never have to deal with the headache again! :)

    My actuator above the belt housing makes a bad grinding sound and soon goes into limp mode. Should I replace the KEbc or can I bypass using this process.

      This kit includes our KEBC delete kit which will allow you to remove the bad actuator 👍

    • @KnightATV
      @KnightATV  ปีที่แล้ว

      Most likely yes, however if your 4WD issues could be coming from a bad 4WD actuator. You can bypass everything and get one of our full manual conversion kits. That will definitely solve all of your issues!

    I have a 06 360 that I think is in limp mode. Checked belt switch was in on position and reset the belt light that’s always flashed and it quit flashing. 4wd light is flashing but other than that it runs perfect idle and taking fuel except it only runs about halfway open. Any suggestions? Thanks

    • @KnightATV
      @KnightATV  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So to determine whether or not you’re definitely in limp mode, try revving the vehicle up while in neutral. If it revs up normal, you are not in limp mode. If it starts limiting while in neutral at a low rpm and always limits at the same RPM you are most likely in limp mode. The Prairie 360 Belt Light Bypass kit will get you out of limp mode once and for all. The only way it won’t is if you have have a broken wire somewhere or your ECU is bad.

    • @pblackburn6238
      @pblackburn6238 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      How would a person know if a ecu was bad?

    • @KnightATV
      @KnightATV  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@pblackburn6238 You can inspect the ECU and see if it looks damaged. Sometimes the bottom will have a bulge on the bottom indicating something burned out on the inside. Otherwise it’s kind of hard to know for sure without having a spare one that’s definitely working to swap out.

    What is the issue if it won’t come out of limp mode after install? I installed this entire kit, still in limp mode after setup and ‘clearing’ it. Thanks

    • @KnightATV
      @KnightATV  ปีที่แล้ว

      The only way it can still be in limp mode is if there is a broken wire between our kit and the main ECU, or if the ECU is burned out (meaning there is a broken connection in the ECU board, same as a broken wire). But the most common issue is a carburetor issue that is mistaken for limp mode. Call us and we will help you figure it out, 732-737-7761

      @KnightATV  ปีที่แล้ว

      No, you need our "KEBC delete kit" to bypass your belt light, this kit is only for 2002-2006 Prairie 360's.

  • @tspecht610
    @tspecht610 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Why do you need to go through so much just to bypass a switch? Isn't the real problem in the switch for the belt? Why not just wire it closed circuit and call it a day? I thought you want that actuator that you removed to help slow you down when you go down hills when you are letting off the gas?

    • @KnightATV
      @KnightATV  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      This video shows you how to bypass the belt light & KEBC actuator. There are many common issues our kit fixes such as not being able to reset your belt light, stuck in limp mode, KEBC actuator pulling power from the battery 24/7 (even when vehicle is turned off) and so on. You are right that the KEBC actuator is to help you automatically slow down however, many people prefer to bypass that feature.
