I had the exact same thing happen with my clutch puller! It broke just as your's did. What a PITA to get that primary off. As to the EPI tool, I have not used one yet, but my thoughts on ANY tool is this: The EPI carries a ONE YEAR WARRANTY, but what good is it if the thing breaks off in your machine? With that said, what are the thoughts of those watching this regarding the EPI tool? Will it work, or can it break too?
i had same problem. on my 05 you need to run the factory kawasaki belt witch is slightly skinnyier than the after market brands. the brake will be rubbing.
These machines need to have the belt deflection adjusted with shims in the secondary sheave as they wear (removed) , when you go to install a new belt add shims to set the belt deflection
On that 850 you got do you notice a whining/whistling noise at idle and riding. My 2021 850 Polaris sportsman whines/whistles and it sounds like it’s around the engine, I don’t think it’s the clutch
Mine does not but I’ve herd of a issue between the engine and transmission where they attach having a bushing or bearing that can be a issue. Basically you have to pull the transmission and inspect a bolt than can come loose and the bushing or bearing of some type. I saw a video on it recently,
I’ve got a 2019 750 brute my clutch cover is broken. Any body know what years are interchangeable? They all appear to be the same but I can’t find any information. Tia for any help 🤙🏼
How many miles or km or your project machine? Coz I found 1 got 13000km on it, I don't know if it's worth buying. 2007 13000km,650 brut force, breaks needs some work 4x4 light flashing.
I think when I bought it , it had around 3000 miles. I paid around $2000-$2500 I believe. Been a few yrs since I purchased it. It needed rear brakes, belt and master cylinder for front brakes. I did all the work myself so it wasnt to bad.
@@mogyver69 I bought a epi tool on e bay was just wondering if it was fake cost 35 bucks not sure if thats norm or not but hell Ill give it a try and pray to god it does not break thanks
EPI sells great stuff I purchased a new race clutch and it works like it was made to be on the ATV.
For a puller I stack in deep well sockets. I’m a old tech and never actually used a fancy puller just sockets a bolt and air

Don’t put too much grease. It’ll fling into the clutch and your belt will start slipping. Use grease sparingly or to go everywhere.

Good job appreciate the video

Just searched online, do a google search. Sometimes you can find a free download. Mine is for my model yr.
