It's a shame that Wilbert Awdry couldn't see this, I think he would be absolutely blown away by this diorama, it's truly a masterpiece! Absolutely well done here!
Great work yet again! I've yet to try painting figures but you make it look like a cakewalk. I'm curious as to what sort of spray booth you use with your airbrush; I've got a rather good airbrush but only a very cheap spray booth at the moment. It does its job, but I get the feeling there must be better options. Would certainly appreciate any advice you might have on that front... While I lament not having the resources or funds to enter into the Awdry diorama challenge myself this year (timing just wasn't right), it's been a joy to watch your entry come together (and quite honestly I'll be stunned if it doesn't win!) Keep up the fantastic work as always.
Thankyou for commenting. I’ve had a few spray booths, and too be fair, the main body seems pretty much identical, like the Violamart spray booth. The main thing I’d suggest is the ducting for extraction, it’s made the biggest difference to me, no smells in the room/particles coming out of the front. You might also notice that I’ve removed the filters from the rear, that’s because it slowed down the air too much, and without it, it’s all going out of the window through the duct. I’m struggling with finances at the moment (nothing new), so what I did was went with ‘pay in 3’ for the loco, which made it accessible for me! Hopefully they’ll do it again next year and you can have a go, I’d love to see what you come up with. Thanks again, and back on Corris next week!
