I have a battery backup for the studio. Its saved my butt twice already. Power cut in the area mid session. Was enough to save the session and shut down safely, which is what these are meant for. The fact you got over an hour on it is pretty impressive.
The plight of the UPS is YOU DON'T NEED IT, UNTIL YOU NEED IT! I am actually in the market for one right now. On a sale I bought a well known highly recommended name brand unit that was normally twice the price and rated at half the stated power of your reviewed unit and connected it my seriously low power very efficient computer system. Everything was fine for a few days and then suddenly without warning it beeped and everything including the UPS shut off. I double checked my plugs connections and re-powered everything back on and a couple of days later it happened again. Repeated this cycle again with similar results. Unplugged everything from the UPS and left it on. A few days later it beeped and shut itself off. Of by this time the "easy" return window had closed. In the process of dealing with it now. My point with this is story is, just because you buy a name brand and spend more does not mean you always get a better product. Will be interested to see how your UPS holds up. That LiFePo4 battery is the diggigity when it comes to backup power and longevity and lighter weight. I might just have to pick one of these up. Thanks for the information on what seems to be a really cool product.
5:20am coffee and Bark.

So far so good. And you nailed it….don’t need it till you need it
Wish it had an external battery connector so you could get one of their 100ah 24v LiFePO4 batteries to connect up and get much longer run time.
I still use my back to the future bluray set
Love physical media
Fun review
I actually disagree lol
Does anyone know why Goldenmate no longer has this UPS on their website?
Hmmm that’s odd
