My experience with the 2k clear was exactly like yours. I painted my hood and used 2k clear on it. The next day it was very dull. I was pretty disappointed with it!
Just painted my motorcycle with spray cans. And used spray max 2k clear. If you put 2-3 coats on with the last 2 heavy enough itll shine like a boss. But when you wet sand and buff itll be 10 times better.

Gotta say very good results for rattle cans, did you get much overspray on the uncovered parts of the car?
Thank you. I got a little overspray on the windshield, came out with a clay bar 😅

Sounds like you didn’t apply enough coats of clear, that or you didn’t wet sand
With 2k rattles you have to wet sand and buff to get it shiny.
