She deserves all of the recognition. Sjokz is a fantastic reporter/journalist, and a lovely personality. She clearly puts forth maximum effort in all she does, and this sort of video perfectly reflects her hard work.

This is it right here - yeah, she's got all these great qualities, she's personable and funny and resilient and beautiful and all of that, but these overshadow what I think is her greatest quality - the amount of work she puts in is just incredible, and she deserves all the success she has and more off the back of her unrelenting work ethic.

Sjokz is an eSport legend. Without people even noticing it, she's changed and evolved the league eSports scene to something more professional and more mainstream. Lets go Sjokz! A lot of people talks about her looks but she really works hard and loves what she does. Honestly being in a high stress environment that requires her to improve every day, she does super well :)

Well you can´t deny she´s good looking but that´s not what makes her my favorit in this.
L7U What kind of statement is that? Not only is it false as looks are completely subjective but modern infrastructure and organizations basically force their players to look healthy. Most of the NA and EU LCS consists of very normal looking guys; nothing special in both ways.
The whole point is that people try to bring down others (including her) and completely brush aside the sheer amount of talent and hardwork she possesses
Just like how Sjokz humanize the players, these backstory videos also do wonders at humanizing them. Thank you for that :)
Thanks for putting the scene of us, the Spanish crowd, chanting Sjokz at the last EU LCS finals. We really like her even though our stream doesn't show her but she did an eff Czaort and she did part of the opening ceremony in spanish with our beloved Ibai. In fact, we even chanted for our own stream casters at that final. Also, I did met her at the exit and she(along with Deficio and Vedius) spent a lot of time taking pictures with us
I don't watch league at all, but she seems to be an EXCELLENT interviewer and seems to speak very well! You guys are lucky to have someone so engaged and interactive with the community and the game itself!

I mean history/sports journalism/teaching aren’t high employment jobs. Not saying you cant get a job with those degrees, but its just alot harder since demand isnt very high for them... Modern society gives jobs to degrees that r in high demand

Score, you brought emotions to me for Sjokz that I've never really thought about. Sjokz was so important for my LoL experience and I almost took that for granted. Thank you Score for bringing light to such an important person for me and the community. And thank you Sjokz for being there every time to constantly support our community.
Not only is she one of the most recognizable faces in pro LoL but she's also one of the only female faces in pro LoL alongside Ovileee and Froskurin, even though of these two the latter is a shoutcaster and the former just does interviews.

It's crazy because she is probably paid less than phreak. She's been consistent, she preps extremely hard and is very articulate in her work. She's been more of an impact because she stood alone in her work gender wise and never was bad. I hope your career last as long as you are able to speak 🙏🙌❤

ur trying to make it sound like phreak hasnt has the same impact on league or the NA scene then sjoks has for EU and you can argue phreak has made a bigger impact

Phreak surely does a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff, but Sjokz has been able to capitalise on her existing relationships with the players to bring out the personalities behind the players. I'm not sure what Phreak has done that has the same impact because creating an emotional connection between a product (Competitive LoL) and its users (viewers) is one of the most difficult and impactful things you can do.
Phreak does way more then behind the scenes.... Phreaks interviews are just as impactful and memorable as sjoks. He was a beloved streamer and caster before the LCS was beginning to pick up. He has the witty attitude that players have connected to over many seasons. And when phreak is casting you can see the rise in viewers because people want to watch phreak cast. Also ur forgetting the plentiful of jokes over the years

Sjokz is so great, and she is the living proof that the gaming community doesn't have much if sometimes anything against women, no matter if your skills are bad as long as you are investing time in it and know what is going in it (depending if you are a casual or just as her a journalist for the game or a supposed pro player), and she is great at her job.

Sjokz and Quickshot are the rocks and faces of the EU LCS. What they have done to the League of Legends scene cannot be underestimated. She is as important as any player. Great job on the video. Hope to see a Story of Quickshot in the near future

Maybe for some chinese fans,the first time they know Sjokz was the Season 10 Worlds "It starts with success...". But after 2 years from that time, more and more people start to recognize her ability, everyone who can get to the place like Sjokz need the extraordinary investment since you have start working. No one knows what kinds of diffculties her faced in front of the world but herself. For me , she is the legend in LOL history and I will learn her , wish I can be the one who can leave myself name in a area, just like Sjokz did. The more I know her, the more I respect her

Huge respect. She pioneered journalism in LoL and is now a role model for league hosts. LoL produced so many good hosts over the years, Sjokz now in EULCS, Ovilee in NALCS and Candice in the LPL, love them all!

How was her government putting pressure on her? Secret service guys stalking her and leaving messages to get married and have kids?
probably taxes... freelance & part-time work is hard to work out the taxes for, especially when you are over a certain age/not studying anymore.
@@frootjuice91 some governments take a lot of money from their people if they go overseas and work. for example when yao ming was playing basketball for the houston rockets he was paying the chinese government something like 60% of his earnings which included endorsements and sponsorship money. I wanna say it is some kind of law over there but im not really sure how that works but it could be the same type of situation in this case.
Belgium is known to charge almost the highest taxes in the world. And given the expensiveness of living there, I can imagine it to be difficult for her to survive on freelance jobs etc.
And also because in Belgium you have to pay social security. Working multiple jobs makes it harder for the government to determine how much she has to contribute to the system.

Damn I love her even more now. She is so relatable. I finished school, I finished university and I am still confused what to do onwards. I am not ready for life, my mind is everywhere and nowhere at the same time. She was just a gamer like all of us who didn't like the outside world and wasn't ready for it, but instead she created her own world where she does what she likes. I dream of that every day. Where I don't go to my job being tired and hating my life, but waking up knowing that I will do what I like. You are a legend for achieving that Sjokz and I wish you all the best.
