I just love how G2's like "Oh, we have the 2nd best midlaner in Europe, i know, we'll sign no1 and just put Perkz botlane, I mean Rekkles told him to play there last year" And it worked out. I mean the botlane meta has shifted so much lately anyway having a midlaner or toplaner there just makes more sense than having a guy who can only play Marksmen. Even Rekkles subbed himself out because he knew he had to go away to learn how to play other shit, and they subbed a toplaner in for him and still did very well. Whenever i ave to play botlane in soloq i still just play my fav loplane picks, Kennen, Karma, Lulu, Heimerdinger, maybe even Irelia or Illaoi if the matchup isn't terrible. ADC's just suck.
I'm from NA and yeah my favorite player is DL cause I first saw him on TSM. But caps is my favorite midlaner of all time and I'm glad he won. I love him and he will always be my favorite. Inside and outside the game.

With Perkz moving to ADC I think a lot of pressure to repeat his performances was actually taken off Caps, becuase everyone was looking at Perkz to see if he could make the botlane work. Same when they role swapped back, people weren't looking at Perkz to repeat his old performances, they were looking at Caps to see if he could be another decent ADC for G2. Just makes me think, G2 have pulled off some of the most exciting transfers and personnel stories in LOL; for them to succeed repeatedly around Perkz has been incredible to watch.
