Superb review. Though I couldn't understand language, I enjoyed watching the Delicious Vegetarian food preparation presented very well on table. Also camera person applied all his skills. I like the traditional food served on banana leaf in South India.
It’s a good one… had tried 2 branches in Thiruvallur and Tirupati… all 3 were good… we usually go on a bike ride to Tirupati & time accordingly to have food @ PS4 😜

Welcome to Chennai Mr Manoj. Being from South Chennai, this Video was New and News to me. Keep exploring Chennai. Unlike Kovai, Trichy and Madurai, Chennai is very Average in Taste. The Sangeethas are way ahead amongst their competitors. Taste wise the next lot are the Saravanas, Murugan Idlis, Balajee Bhavans, A2Bs and Vasantha Bhavans. A few Udipi based Hotels like the Mathysa, Palmgrove, Woodlands and Ashoka have their own trusted customers.
Please do visit a few underrated hotels in Parrys area like the Prakash Bhavan and the Gujrati Bhojanalayas. All the Best.
Chennai doesn’t have good family based small eateries compared to other cities. But chennai has some good hidden gems. MSf has done great job in exploring chennai
Can review Chennai, mylapore small hoteliers. Jannal kadai bajji, paatima kadai, karpagambal mess etc..
Myladurhurai , and Coimbatore still maintain some old style hoteliers
Sorry forgot to mention Rayar cafe / mess in mylapore .

We are in Perambur I like your banana leaf regularly,and Perambur Srinivasa hotels always super.
It's nice . You and owner should have mentioned names and places of other branches . I feel the Biriyani should not have been shown like Non Veg toppings . Why should you copy that , instead make it look like Veg toppings. Hope after tasting different dishes , you have not wasted the remaining food .
No one can eat so much of food including Manoj Sir. He could have used a separate plate and used different spoons to serve himself for tasting.

Not only Manoj Kumar but some other youtubers are also in the habit of displaying the entire food items in the table and start eating. How many items they are eating and how much are wasted God only knows. This restaurant seems to offer good pure veg snack items for a middle class diner in Chennai and suburbs having 26 branches. In a metro city any good eatery will flourish. Yesterday I saw a video on TH-cam of the iconic Udupi restaurant at Matunga in Mumbai. An established foodie is featured in it and the third generation of the family running the restaurant explains every item on the plantain leaf. Chennai already is super saturated with restaurants.

Nice detailed video.. But, please don't waste food.. use separate spoons for different dishes.. Even for the same dish if you are going to taste it for a second time use a fresh spoon so that food will not be wasted. Keep it up your good videos ! 👍💐
I had the same thought. I agree that wasting any food is not a good thing esp in these days where lot of people are starving due to the war and many other reasons. In this case, even if Mr.Manoj had used fresh spoons for every bite, I am not sure how this food could be handed over to anyone else unless the restaurant has a policy of giving away leftover food to poor people at the end of the day. But your concern is very noble and I agree with you.
