For showering, your house would be a perfect place to install an 8-10 litre re-circulating shower. Very simple to heat and uses minimal water. It's used in many custom built van RV's and seems to work really well.
I know this is an old video, and I'm very late on watching this, but you're definitely like a long-distance best friend. Ugh, you are a joy, Cecilia!
I always love watching your videos. It makes me feel like I am just hanging out and chilling with a friend. Which is really nice, because I don't have anyone I can do that with. Makes me feel less lonely.

Night life in Svalbard, Coffee, Shoping, Grim, the space in the cabin with no hot water, also a great space, excellent views…..Drones, cameras, boat, hiking, harsh weather……you master it all. Thanks

I'm watching the episode where your old floor came up. I hope there was enough of it and some of your other discards you could offer on your Facebook marketplace page or to friends who might be able to use it/them since it's so expensive to get shipments up there. Nice video Cecilia. Grim was doing his shift to protect the house from the animals outside. I feel for Christopher being the only sober person around a group of "spirited" people can be interesting. Are you not able to make a walkway from the home to car parking? I see it is tundra and assume you cannot cover it. Stay safe and healthy.

I live in the bushveld out side Rustenburg South Africa and are on the opposite side of the thermometer at 44 Deg C at times in summer.

As an observation, it's interesting how well maintained Svalbard is (in context). It's a compliment to Norwegian mentality. I've been watching videos about Adak and Little Diomede island (both remote parts of Alaska) and both are...well, desolate.

This was entertaining. Since the pandemic Ive worn makeup twice! Sad lol its been insanely warm here in the mid-Atlantic US too. Summer has been extended a full month the last few years and we barely get any snow. 😥😥 The house looks amazing and cozy. this polar night will be the best no doubt in the "new" cabin!
