IIRC, a lot of normally good shooters just weren't hitting in the beginning of the season. I know older teams sometimes take a bit to get going, but it was weird.
@@MeBihhhh Bro I wish Doc gave me a reason to like him but him blowing all those leads with teams I liked (Clippers and Sixers) made me kind sour on him as a coach. I sure hope he bounces back and helps the Bucks win another chip
@@arturbondarenco2155 the 76ers were blowing that league regardless. Joel is just a complete scrub come playoffs. Doc isn’t a great coach but he’s still a HOF coach which is why I’ll never understand yall
I still think Chet is a mismatch vs Giannis. Middleton also is there xfactor. He’s that third option after dame and giannis. After J-Dub OKC third option is by committee.
Great video! The bucks did so many awesome things: attack from the elbow, twin tower offense, a young poa defender that shuts down an MVP candidate (on that topic, so many young great poa defenders: amen, tari, cason, naw, ajj, who says there is no defence in todays game isnt really paying attention.)
Much better thoughtful analysis than other channels. Thanks again, strong work. Question: what's the breakdown on the common denominator for teams that have beaten the Celtics the past 2 years? I have a theory that it's simple rebounds/possessions combined with the Celtics happen to have a bad shooting night. But I'm sure there's more to it than just imbalanced rebounding, there have to be more factors.
Seems like the thunder were missing chet. He would’ve forced Giannis and Lopez to respect his 3 ball and been a bigger body. Hartenstein shrank the floor and for a team so reliant on drives that’s bad!
I’m seeing a lot of the same issues from this season as last season, they are a team where if your bigger than them and can shoot they struggle, I think if them and the Mavs play again in the playoffs it will go the exact same the Mavs will take advantage of size and shooting and bully the Thunder, I think the Thunder need to get bigger and they need some players who are consistently able to hit 3’s in volumes.
@ryanamburgy2791 lose is lose, score not even close, there is 16 point difference, buck offense and defense rating is below okc, but they still manage to win, so there is definitely a flaw in okc plays/strategy
They did, in the offseason, it was Hartenstein. They jsut haven’t been healthy (2 of their 3 centers are hurt) And they’ve been rolling still, despite not having their defensive anchor. They probably won’t make any trade for another traditional big. Just suffer till Chet gets back 😂
They still scored under the thunders average oppg, the question should be how was the thunders offense so bad. It was a historically bad shooting night.
Everyone saying they don’t trust the bucks when in reality Trent was starting and didn’t hit a shot for like 6 games straight and now he’s on the bench hitting lmfao like bruh if we started with these lineups 2-8 never happens
thunder really needs a 3 and D power forward like sign robert covington to the minimum or trade for xavier tillman. or they can draft one in this draft
okc was calling travels on giannis all night. not sure it would have mattered again the size but it was still funny seeing ihart call a travel on like the second possession.
What seed will the Bucks finish the season as? 👇
Third or fourth imo
I’m gonna guess 5
Third
Second and then first rounded
Lol
One important development for the Bucks is that Gary Trent actually remembered how to shoot.
Wdym? Okc is bottom 5 in fts
Funny how not having back spasms anymore can do that for ya eh?

And bobby portis
Rajon rondo also joining the staff over there is feeling like a underrated rated addition to their coaching staff
I did not know about this. Thank you
He was only there for about a week or so during the off/preseason. He isn't with the team currently.
Never doubt Giannis in any finals game. He knows how to take over and win.
Much as it pains me to say so, Doc probably deserves a degree of credit for the Bucks’ play. Grrr.
I’ll never understand you doc trolls😂

What people need to realize is that Doc and Bud are good coaches. They aren't GREAT coaches, but they know their business.

OKC needed Chet here more than Milwaukee needed Khris
What the hell was chet. Gone do against that armor tank we call the Greek freak 😆
Chet is a toothpick be serious man
I like chet but giannis has destroyed him already

Maybe to grab some rebounds but defensivly...ahhh no.
2 hall of fame caliber offensive menaces, that's how.

I was at this game , Giannis looked like a man playing against kids, they tried to wall up and that just didn’t work at all
Thanks for bucks video bro❤

This breakdown and awesome
Okc is going to be so scary when they get Chet back
Was refreshing to see a team get a similar whistle that OKC does when it comes to defense
Talking about supposed ref bias is so cringe dude

Fantastic stuff my man
capitalizing on what the defense is missing, inside presence going back to post and scoring in the paint while having shooters ready
Great analysis. Subbed
Great breakdown dude
Bucks in 6

Size killed them in that game
Imo, the bad thing about thunders defense, without chet they cant sustain that kind of defense againt good center and pf
We literally held them under 100 points though

I agree and like your analysis. Subscribed.
Hi Alex, I have seen the game and I agree with your analysis, but I think we also need to consider the 3P% of this match: 42% vs 15,6%
Watch OKC make a random trade for a Big man

"We need to talk about Tyler Herro"😤
When middleton is back and healthy the bucks will be a real threat

For everybody saying “they aint have Chet” ask yourself what exactly was Skinny Chet gone do against Giannis
His length takes away the lobs and gives another line of rim defense beyond Hartenstein
thunder really needs a 3 and D power forward like sign robert covington to the minimum or trade for xavier tillman. or they can draft one in this draft
Your also forgetting khris Middleton needs to get back to full health
good power
When Chet comes back, these ain't gonna be issues no more.
I've seen NO defense, being abla to stop Giannis for many years now....

They act like they invented this small ball gmmick!
OKC needs better shooters.
Old probably would’ve won if they were hitting from 3 tbh
Ythey won cuz we wasn’t making shots that’s the only reason
Genuine question is this not a travel 3:53
I can make it really easy for you. No Chet and shots but falling.
''Demolish the #1 defense'' they couldn't break 100 points
Easily break 100 if they didn't bench starters and take foot off the gas because it was a blowout
@ Still, that’s not really demolishing it
The best your team by 20 without even scoring 100. That seems more like a self own on your part 😂
There were talks to trade Giannis for a rebuild?? That’s hysterical. Loved the content up until that big ol pile of crap.
I’m not the one that was suggesting that. It was literally the national media doing that. Don’t shoot the messenger.
