- We got to build lightsabers on Batuu with Savi! Josh chose "Power & Control" while I chose "Elemental Nature". It was a really amazing experience and the cast members were all fantastic!

It's important to remember that you can buy extra kits in the store so if you want to mix and match parts from different sets it is possible but obviously even more expensive

I have experienced the Savi's workshop experience a few days ago. It was my 27th birthday and I decided to do it. I went there thinking I would just make an appointment there but turns out you need to make an appointment online. Of course, bit bummed, I tried to make one later on but the Disney staff member who was there told me that someone canceled and had a spot open for me. So, I went ahead and took the spot and went in. Of course, I got the Elemental Nature lightsaber, because I wanted the Rancor tooth. Here is where I decided to mix things up and do something no one has ever done. When selecting the kyber crystal, instead of picking the one I want, I decided to pick one at random....while covering my eyes. Luckily, I was the first person to choose, so I had all available options for me, even the staff was surprised that I was choosing a crystal as my eyes were covered. In the end, I ended up getting the blue kyber crystal. Of course I can get new ones, but that was my chosen crystal. I loved the experience and my lightsaber and really enjoyed it. Glad I was able to do it.

They should have a room where palpatine speaks when your saber is done and you only can do red crystals so you can build a dark side saber
You can still have power and control and elemental nature but the only the that you can’t choose blue, green, and purple crystals

I’ve seen a LOT of these workshop videos on TH-cam, and Ken-Bay is by far my favorite gatherer out of them all. I hope he’s still there when I go to build mine this summer

I’m sure you could. However, it wouldn’t change the cost and you would get to have an additional one to pick out.

From what I have heard you can get extra parts at Dok Undar's but only for the type you picked. So Power and Control can't buy parts from Protection and Defense.
