So basically, make 2 tank categories: off tank and main tank and tone down some of the tank’s numbers so we can have 6v6 again but no double barrier. Honestly having two tanks just made the game so much more interesting. But like, forcing them to do different things so you don’t just run rein/sigma or something
I disagree completely I think only having 1 tank was the best decision blizzard ever made. It makes the game much more enjoyable and rewarding. 2 tanks was way to hectic and draining to play

@@dejohn8529 it was only his shotgun and again you’re not going to dive as a Torb because he can’t get out of fights or avoid damage and his overclock ability was only a slight buff since it refills ammo.
I want ball adaptive shields changed to give cc immunity, but reduce the amount of shields gained per person and maybe increase coll down time or time that it lasts

The worst thing about doomfist is I contantly grind him up to masters, blizzard bugs him to an unplayable point and I fall to low diamond, and then I have to start all over again. Fell from m4 to d5 during the time his block didn't block anything
If they're gonna buff Doom, I think the better call is either bring back his Uppercut (if they're sticking with current CDs stats) or add a sort of CC mit system that he would either get from any of his CDs and said CC Mit will lessen the effect of the CCs. He will still be affected by CCs, just less of it.
He should be able to block CC with block but it gets no charge for the empowered punch

some sort of change because Doomfist can't even do ability combos like he was designed to do in OW1 with slam, uppercut and punch and now the most you can do is just slam, punch or punch, slam. Neither are good combos that deal even decent damage even if you shoot in between and both abilities are so easily telegraphed which makes sense for punch but not for slam.

i think doom should get either his slow back on his slam if he has empowered punch or remove the .25 minimum stun and bring back the 1 sec full charge stun, id be fine with either, and fix his bugs

Characters are getting more and more buffs to the point where Rein is borderline useless above Plat. You need a lucio otherwise you're boned
They definitely buffed Orisa in the wrong way. If this was to make her even more of a counter against CC they should have buffed Fortify's uptime or frequency, not damage reduction; Fortify doesn't need a buff imo.
Orisa was OP with farther damage falloff so I think Orisa needs mobility in terms of speed or verticality. Cool idea: give Orisa an upward boop-jump if she javelins the ground below her, similar to s76 rocket jump, Zarya secondary fire jump, or Bastion's grenade jump.
Nah when she javelin spins and looks up she should turn into a helicopter

Buff doom, #1 without a doubt is make meteor strike have immunity frames. It should not be an int ult… so immune to cc on takeoff and land. make block immune to hack, give shotgun a better spread/more range(depending on if u think he should have any primary range… make slam slow+stack for every target hit/make slam generate more ult when hitting 3+ ppl… also a crazy idea… u know how ball has 2 forms? Make 1 like a dps doom… uppercut and more offensive based, then have a 2nd form. Tank doom… I personally love that idea the most
Now I love the idea of him being a DPS or being a tank with old DPS abilities, and even a stance change concept, but from a realistically, they shoulf just revert him to Beta 1 (w/ small adjustments). Make Punch impact damage 25-50, make ult do 150-50 outerring damage and hinder movement, and maybe increase the max overhealth from 150-200, that's it.

I had an idea for Roadhog's one-shot: reduce the baseline hook range to 10m but give Roadhog a "charging" swing animation for his hook and the more "charged up" his hook is the faster and farther it would travel (up to its current range). RH moves slower when charging his hook (like lifeweaver's primary). Nerf the cooldown but give him the current cooldown upon successful hooks (like JQ's axe). He can launch the hook w/o charging and it'd only be effective close range so then it'd actually be "punishing bad positioning".
I feel like these changes would make playing as and against Roadhog more engaging and "fair" and give his one-shot a layer of skill and counterability it didn't have before.
Nah i say just give him 2 charges like zarya and make the cooldown between the 2 take like 1 and a half seconds.

If they are bringing back soft cc give doom the slow on his slam from the beta back, make it like 20% for 1 second or something, i honestly think he needs a small rework since his switch to tank felt like a rush job (and we know they wont put him back as dps which is fine) and what we know now after the pve drama it probably was a rushed job

@@lukasg4807 slam only does damage it does not have any cc they removed it befor ow2 went live, slam had a slow when the first ow2 beta went live but they got rid of it suring the last beta
@@toro_sensei It lifts you slightly up in the air like a weak but larger ball slam. It can stop the momentum of characters like lucio and ball
@@listlie its situational and not consistent most the time ive noticed doesnt slow them down at all but i have seen it happen though its not an actaul knock up cause that would actaully impair movement all together for any character whic hit doesnt but i have seen it mess with momentum occasionally, but also im talking about an actual cc that applies universally not just to a couple characters situationally
@@toro_sensei Yep I generally agree with what u said, but would like to say it’s pretty consistent in stopping a ball’s fireball. Against Lucio it might not be as consistent since Lucio has more vertical mobility and is more likely to be high enough to not get hit. In comparison, ball usually stays on the ground for longer since it tends to be more advantageous depending on the enemy supports/dps
I think we need a global nerf for hitscan. It's too easy to play for how much value you get. Every game is Cree soldier widow or ashe. Usually two of these.
It's weird too in a game like overwatch. So many unique heros and people only play McCsGo. COD76. Etc.

@nogunk147 no its more like how dare you be so boring as to play the same type of heros you can play in every shooter ever made before and after overwatch. Every shooter has a mcree heavy pistol. Every shooter has a widow sniper. Every shooter has a basic machine gun like soldier. Etc etc.
Name another shooter with doomfist? How about sym? Junkrat? Echo? Etc etc etc.
Overwatch gives you the opportunity to play something completely different and you chose to never leave your comfort zone and play McCsGo cuz that's what you know and it uses transferable skills from again, every shooter ever made.
And everyone can aim if you take the time to learn. It's not a special talent reserved for only the best of the best. It's the most basic thing you can learn to do.
I have brought friends over from other competitive shooters watching them dome people with widow while asking things like "what does that character do? What's this one's name"
They had great success because you really don't have to know how to play overwatch with all its many pieces and techs and Etc etc. You can just aim and do fine on some heros. And that's kinda rediculous.
I would even say it encourages new players to never really learn the game. Why learn how to play Winston to a high degree? It takes so much knowledge and effort. Just aim and play hitscan. Ez no effort needed.

This guy doesn’t play hitscan at all and it shows, every shooter has a “soldier 74”, I agree with that, but not every shooter has a cowboy that has a fan the hammer ability, a roll and some stupid grenade that he shouldn’t have to begin with, also, not every shooter has a hero that can blast people back with a shotgun (or use it to get on a higher level) or a dynamite that you can shoot to explode (or wait the timer out) while having a butler that you can summon from space that can help contest the obj and kill enemies attacking it.
Also, if you would have a global nerf to hitscans (which is the dumbest thing I have ever heard) pharah would be so easy that even my grandma could hit grandmaster with her (especially with a mercy pocket).
Doomfist can deal with flyers too. You dont mention this cause you want buffs. I do too but we shouldnlt lie for it haha

He's not meant to tank, he's supposed to disrupt, but I'd be fine with him being a DPS, I prefer it that way.

I said this before. All doom fist needs is some defensive ability. Give him fortify when he has empowered punch. Make him immune to cc while he has the empowered punch. Cuz an cc insta kills this pathetic excuse of a tank. He needs help when diving. He doesn’t need to get more health or more damage or more cc. He needs some help against sleep dart and stuns in general. Also will give him some skill of outplaying and make his ultimate less of a suicide attack.
Btw the fortify effect he gets is just cc protection. He doesn’t get damage reduction. It’s such a small change but in my opinion it’s all he needs to give him a chance to be at least c or b tier. Especially when the devs talking about bringing back cc to dps characters.
Nah, he should just 90% damage mit on power block or maybe a CC block/parry on power block. Empowered punch being a high risk/high reward is a good thing IMO. They just need to buff the stun time and area of effect back to S1.
Honestly, Hog rework when? Right now his kit is useless except in specific locations with specific circumstances, or in qp/metal rank.
DVA may be a better dive tank for comp but that doesn't stop lesser skilled DVA's from flying in to 1v5 the enemy team loosing mech/throwing games and not understanding their counters and when to swap 😅😂

Bullshit soldier is the most broken character of all time right now. He can kill just about anyone in 3 seconds if you have good aim and know how to hit his grenades. Orisa still feels the same in my opinion she’s been the best tank and still is

Need you low gm and below players to stop saying “buff doom.” He’s always been a character that takes time and skill to play and real doom mains don’t want him to be entry level. There’s no other hero in the game that feels as cool as doom when you’re showcasing your insane skill. They need to nerf cass,sombra,and maybe even zen discord more and he’ll be in a much better spot
I think they could buff Doom by bringing back his 3 second Punch cooldown, giving his Primary Fire just a tad bit more damage, then he's like A Tier imo. I don't think much needs to be done, just small things to round his character out. If you go over every single hero in the game, you'll see that at some point they were meta for a good amount of time. Zarya, DVA, and Winston were meta all of Season 1, then Season 2 rolls around and it was Doomfist (for one damn week), Hog, and Orisa. Then of course Sigma had his one-shot combo for awhile, Ramattra has been good since all his buffs, Wrecking Ball was dominant, but Doom had ONE WEEK to work with while everyone else has a good season or 2. SOLJOURN WAS META FOR LIKE THE FIRST 6 MONTHS, KIRIKO HAS BEEN META SINCE HER RELEASE, BUT NO LOVE TO DOOM.
Ever since his move from DPS he feels just... Terrible. All the useful techs removed, skill ceiling lowered, skill floor raised. Everyone complained he was a punch bot in OW1 but the devs decided to lean into that even more? I know they wanted him as a tank and he had no damage mitigation ability, but why give a completely useless cd (powerblock) in place of uppercut? And why doesn't it block literally any CC? It feels like a "please send me to spawn" button. The only reason that hero worked and was generally balanced is because he was hyper mobile but needed to be right in your face to do literally anything. Not my fault if you couldn't hear his loud ass cd noises or were so unobservant that you didn't see the doom setting up an easy to shut down rollout.
I miss uppercut greatly, but I hardly see people talking about 125 slam or indicator slam. Indicator slam was especially good since you could slam through stuff like whole hog and the landing site is predictable. Also, 125 slam+uppercut was only oppressive if you could reliably do punch bounces and get into weird spots to charge the slam... Which requires map geometry knowledge and an understanding of the movement physics. Completely fair imo and high skill ceiling but noooo we have to have an indestructible horse that's now even more indestructible, and a character that can soft hack you from a lightyear away with a stupid homing grenade. Ugh. I just don't understand why they did this to doom. He's so 1 dimensional and boring to play in OW2.
Sorry for the long rant, I just miss the golden age of doom and all the fun techs.
@@_XRMissie As someone who started played OW1 right before Echo was released, I didn't get to play much of Doom. But from how it looks, I think personally I much prefer this Doom over DPS, though DPS was fun lol. Could be because I was about the top 200 or so Titanfall 2 players, and movement techs are second nature to me. I love being able to fly in and out of fights. I also love having group control, group damage, this character is up my alley.
But.
I think if they aren't gonna buff him, it'd be best to make him a DPS character again.
It’s simple give Doom 6 bullets instead of 4. That would actually make him playable. 4 bullets isn’t enough to kill anyone in this game

He needs the bugs fixed, but buffs? Idk, I've seen some doomfists that are crazy, that completely dominate their lobbies and you can't do anything about it. I believe his learning curve is extremely high, but once you reach the point of understanding him, you just break the game
@@Nemo.404 So like every other hero then? If you're cracked at a hero and can outplay hard counters, you deserve to crush the lobby since you've demonstrated that it's a skill issue. People cried so hard in OW1 about doom's 1 shot punch or slam + uppercut combo like he didn't have to do some crazy rollouts to close the distance AND get out alive... And then there's junk who can 1 shot combo with primary + conc, or widow who can delete you with a single click across the map, hog punished bad positioning with hook combo, sigma rock + primary, mcree flash + fan, hanzo would spam chokes from halfway across the map, etc. Doom's learning curve and high skill ceiling should be rewarded with wins, not punishment, nerfs, and a half baked replacement for uppercut.

I'd buff hog for sure, but not really at the same time. I'd cut his heals down to 200 but it self cleanses. And I'd give him a smaller hitbox by jusssssst a little bit. No damage buffs at all.

because it was a 1 shot ability on a "tank" that requires very little skill to use and now he can't 1 shot, he is useless. No character in the game should be useless, that is why people want him reworked.

Lol 😂😂😂😂😂😂 you go out there and hook pharah mercy and echo out of the air consistently. Do you play hog at all? He does take skill to get value with. Maybe in your rank he doesn't, but he does anywhere past plat. But the hog players don't want a rework. He needs a minor buff in a spot or two and he'd be fine.
