Absolutely heart broken at his loss. When I was a kid, people were drawn to the Stones and the Beatles. I was mesmerized by the Yardbirds and to Jeff Beck...thank you Jeff,....RIP
@robertpatterson3406 Different Karma leads you in different directions.. maybe Jeff Beck had new Plans.. like playing with an actor..just for fun, and Tal wanted to produce her music.. she' s a great Singer/ songwriter..
I love how Tal watches Jeff so intently; making sure she is laying down the perfect groove for him. Vinnie is a rock. Jeff makes the strings talk. Music made by professional artists.
@@JasperJames0912 I had the pleasure of seeing Gary Moore open up for Jimmy Page and The Firm featuring the great Paul Rodgers on lead vocals. In my own estimation Paul Rodgers is the very finest of the blues based rock singers. I don't think that you will get much argument on that claim, at least among know what they are talking about.
This is so hard to watch now. If you loved Jeff, it's because you loved all types of perfect music. He was the very best in my eyes. No macho bullshit. Just glorious, PURE melody, an ear for weird and beautiful. THAT IS HIS LEGACY. I loved him. RIP old friend.
Maestro Jeff Beck is do dedicated to his own accords that seems he's no longer there. He is absolutely dedicated to sound and musical accords. Thanks Jeff Beck
Just a new fan of Jeff Becks. Starting listening to his music while hearing Johnnie Depp singing and I can not get enough of his music ! You have a fan for life. You are the greatest, Jeff !
You are embarking on a journey that will provide you with a feast of auditory pleasure; the likes of which you have never experienced before. Jeff is incredible. Enjoy. He has a large music catalogue to sample.
I don't care what they say, Rhonda has nothing over Tal. She is so solid and her sound is so round and well defined. And Jeff, is well, Jeff, the best ever.
As a pure guitar player, Beck is every bit as good and as creative as Hendrix was. Jimi was a singer and song writer, the whole package, but they are on the same incredible level as electric guitar masters. Both unique; both far above the rest.

I heard Steve Morse in an interview highlighting guitar masters that had a major impact on him give Jeff Beck his ultimate praise and admiration when he said something to the effect that “no guitarist alive can master the tones and technique Jeff can, that it’s hard to figure out how he does it.” Not an exact quote but close. This video is a great example of Jeff’s virtuosity! Thanks for posting!
@@reidmcclure1438 Another guy that Jeff Beck admired when before this fellow made to the medium level fame that he was stuck in during his entire career was the late, great Roy Buchanan who got a lot of similar sounds out of his Tele that did Beck but Buchanan didn't use any sorts of effects racks he only minipulated his tone control and possibly a tremelo bar. It wasn't until he saw Hendrix use effects that he even knew they existed. Beck was onto Buchanan early on and I have seen Morse before he joined Deep Purple when he played all of that guitar pyrotechnics and the three guys I thought of when I heard him were : Beck, Blackmore, and Buchanan which sounds like a law firm.
Jeff Beck possesses a greater overall mastery and control over the instrument than any other player I can think of, bar none. He's the best electric guitarist of all time. He's not my personal favorite, but he is the best.
I know Jeff played with Jimmy Page and watching Jeff use that thumb pick makes me realize that Jimmy's hybrid picking is very similar. Main difference is Jeff still has his index finger as a picker, but Jimmy has to hold the pick with the index.
all those taking pictures....I almost got kicked out of his Dallas Starplex show in 1999 for taking pictures, and had to hand over my film to the security guys in order to stay.
Compare this with his latest bands, it's like chalk and cheese. Tal and Vinnie were, without a doubt, the best rhythm section JB has ever had. There is a real synergy with them, Jason Rebello included (imagine being the keyboard player with Jeff Beck).
Mr. Beck often plays out of pitch with his string bends and use of vibrato tailpiece, not because he doesn't have an ear for pitch, but because he knows it adds interest to his overall sound. The great Jazz alto sax player Mr. Lee Konitz was one of the few others who occasionally intentionally played out of pitch to good effect.
Absolutely heart broken at his loss. When I was a kid, people were drawn to the Stones and the Beatles. I was mesmerized by the Yardbirds and to Jeff Beck...thank you Jeff,....RIP
Tal is the real Genius on bass -! Only with her Jeff can shine as bright as he does here ! Don't know who I admire more !!!!!
@@berndjungmann5600 Very simple ! You just gotta admire both and that 's all.....without forgetting Vinnie and Jason Rebello.

Jeff Beck, Jimi Hendrix, Stephen Malkmus. The great ones on guitar.
