Good evening everyone! I know everyone probably had a busy day at work but the best way to relax is with some Raiti's Rides. Make sure to give Ford your honest opinion on this 2025 Expedition in the comments section!
@@DoomsDay-ys1ki GM puts a 5.3l and 6.2l V8 in the Tahoe, Yukon and Escalade and their SUV sales absolutely dominated the Ford Expedition, People want a V8 in their full size SUV.
I really love the Ford Expedition Platinum Max and I think this SUV looks super super awesome when you look at how it compares to the apostles to the SUVs
Interior soo odd. Clearly the Lincoln Navigator came first with the long screen that reached from one end to another. And they couldn’t put that screen in the ford as that would’ve defeated the purpose of getting the Lincoln Navigator. Interior feels soo odd as it feels like it’s missing something due to the short screen. Lots of wasted space on the dash.
@@jasperordrup They could have designed the right side of the dashboard to look better though, even with a soundbar. It just looks very awkward and bland. Or just give the Expedition its own dashboard like GM did with the Tahoe, Yukon and Escalade, they all have their own unique dashboards. But Ford used the same dashboard found on the new Navigator but without the extra screen on the right side, because of this, it looks horrendous...I think the dashboard on this Expedition is repulsive. The exterior looks nice and everything in the inside looks great too except the ugly dashboard.
Yea it's a terrible design choice. But I bet anything they intentionally didnt put alot of thought or effort into the design. Usually when a product can't compete with a big rival, the company focusing more on maximizing profits. Meaning throwing something together and getting it on the market for the short term 'newness' success.
Not a fan of the interior, it feels like it’s been molded to fit the coast to coast display found in the Navigator but more than half the screen is missing making it look more like an awkward afterthought than anything.
The front looks good. Almost like a Yukon. But the back looks atrocious. That big black bar and the taillights look so ugly. Interior ain’t the worst, I kinda like it a bit. GM is ahead of their game 1000x.
12:41 this would be super funny if that was actually a touch screen. imagine seeing a driver trying to navigate through google maps with that screen. 😂😂
All these negative comments. You people never satisfied. This vehicle looks Great! Always being Negative. Don't buy it!! Ford want lose Money cause you are not purchasing it! Thanks Raiti for the look on the Expedition!!
Pick a brand and go to the review comments. It's the same everywhere. Seems like people just like to hear themselves talk, no matter how dumb they sound.
Giant wheels and narrow tires all in the name of mileage has gone too far. There's no "utility" in a SUV with those tires. Sheesh. But ok, I still love, I admit it.
You know I have tons of car channels I’m subscribed to so when a vehicle is released to the Media I see the same vehicle over and over in my feed but I always come to Raitis rides for a first look … really appreciate this channel
Definitely copied GMC with those headlights. Also I think reflector headlights make it look cheap like why not have projector beams on the top model smh kind of disappointed in the new look. I was expecting more tbh
Also for the 90k price tag this will have it doesn’t even have rear cooled seats and no massage seats and no window shades. Absolutely insane and they copied BMW with the tailgate hahaha ford ran out of ideas it looks like
285/40/24’s. Those tires gonna last 40k miles at best and cost $2k to replace. First time the driver hits a curb and cracks a wheel, add another $500 for a new wheel. Also, low profile tires are often impossible to repair, so get the tire warranty. I bet an old buckboard stagecoach has a smoother ride. 😅
Why no projector LED?GM has projector LED even on cheapest models. Not saying reflector is bad but in an expensive model such as this it should be projector.
Looks nice, but it's surprising that this generation of the Expedition still only has heated second-row seats unlike the Navigator. But you forgot to zonk it! By the way, I feel like its steering wheel gives everyone a nostalgic 90's vibe because it reminds us of Ford's steering wheel from the 90's or early 2000's that can be found on Ford models that weren't sold in the United States, particularly in Europe and Latin America, like the OG Ford Ka.
I have some mixed feelings. There's some hits and some missed opportunities. Let me explain. I love the new lighting in the front, but I think the missed opportunity is to maybe make the Ford logo or the Expediton badge light up top would be cool. The taillights are not my favorite, and that gloss black on the hatch looks awful. On the interior, I like the new tech like the Navigator, but the thing that irkes me is the steering wheel shape and the fact the wheel controls are actually shown the screen. Not to mention they STILL cant get the horn button right! Good camera quality, good cargo versatility, and it wouldn't hurt to maybe start using digital rearview mirrors. That's all I got, Joe 😉
There us no such thing as a perfect vehicle that's mass produced. You have to find one that has enough features to meet most of your needs. Things you object to, another customer will love. They need to strike a balance. In my case, that gloss black tailgate wouldn't be an issue because I always buy a black vehicle. Those accent lights in back look very edgy and modern. I don't like seeing knobs and buttons going away. It just seems to make easy things more complicated and distracting.
Pretty decent redesign in my opinion. I remember years ago when the only way to get 24 inch wheels is to go aftermarket. Now, you can get 24 inch wheels as standard or as an option from the factory.
100% I saw how high up the lower gate went on Joe and all I could think was “I’m going to tear up my shoulders just to put groceries in the back.” Don’t want to have to hit two buttons

Love the new wheel size and design too! I know you like the fact that the rear wiper was moved to the top of the rear glass, Joe, have to agree, why aren't they all located there! When will the 2025 model year be available for sale?
Ford hit a home run with this beauty !! Really good looking love the external styling, but the interior is gorgeous! This is the SUV that makes you want to drive cross country! 🇺🇸
The only thing I see that I actually appreciate is that they finally put a 400watt AC socket in there. Been complaing about that for all generations prior. 160watt sockets are not usable for the most part now. But the rest - all I see is a bunch of points of failure to justify their major price gouging lately for us Expy fans. And what is with 24 inch wheels? I had a tough time getting 22 inch wheels for my 2022 - especially during Covid. 24 inch meant for better towiing? Lastly don't get me wrong - the features are nice but most are archaic in contrast to the features that have already been present in other vehicles since 2022. I do, however, love the new backend storage. My water jugs won't fall out anymore :)

Love your reviews as always, Joe. I have to say, no 110 home power outlet in the front seat like the F150s treat their customers to is a big zonk. The people in the front seat are the most important as they are the ones likely paying for the vehicle. Mom or dad should be able to plug their laptop in and work from the road if they want. The F-150 is the only vehicle in the world that gets this right.
