Good evening everyone! I know everyone probably had a busy day at work but the best way to relax is with some Raiti's Rides. Make sure to give Ford your honest opinion on this 2025 Expedition in the comments section!
I’m still a fan. I hate the direction the new vehicles are going with all digital everything. Nothing has any feeling anymore. What I hate most is everything is automated. Nothing has any manual control or manual override to things. It’s like why do I have to go through the screen to do simple things like the HVAC controls.
12:41 this would be super funny if that was actually a touch screen. imagine seeing a driver trying to navigate through google maps with that screen. 😂😂
@@DoomsDay-ys1ki GM puts a 5.3l and 6.2l V8 in the Tahoe, Yukon and Escalade and their SUV sales absolutely dominated the Ford Expedition, People want a V8 in their full size SUV.
I really love the Ford Expedition Platinum Max and I think this SUV looks super super awesome when you look at how it compares to the apostles to the SUVs
Not a fan of the interior, it feels like it’s been molded to fit the coast to coast display found in the Navigator but more than half the screen is missing making it look more like an awkward afterthought than anything.
Interior soo odd. Clearly the Lincoln Navigator came first with the long screen that reached from one end to another. And they couldn’t put that screen in the ford as that would’ve defeated the purpose of getting the Lincoln Navigator. Interior feels soo odd as it feels like it’s missing something due to the short screen. Lots of wasted space on the dash.
@@jasperordrup They could have designed the right side of the dashboard to look better though, even with a soundbar. It just looks very awkward and bland. Or just give the Expedition its own dashboard like GM did with the Tahoe, Yukon and Escalade, they all have their own unique dashboards. But Ford used the same dashboard found on the new Navigator but without the extra screen on the right side, because of this, it looks horrendous...I think the dashboard on this Expedition is repulsive. The exterior looks nice and everything in the inside looks great too except the ugly dashboard.
Yea it's a terrible design choice. But I bet anything they intentionally didnt put alot of thought or effort into the design. Usually when a product can't compete with a big rival, the company focusing more on maximizing profits. Meaning throwing something together and getting it on the market for the short term 'newness' success.
All these negative comments. You people never satisfied. This vehicle looks Great! Always being Negative. Don't buy it!! Ford want lose Money cause you are not purchasing it! Thanks Raiti for the look on the Expedition!!
Pick a brand and go to the review comments. It's the same everywhere. Seems like people just like to hear themselves talk, no matter how dumb they sound.
The front looks good. Almost like a Yukon. But the back looks atrocious. That big black bar and the taillights look so ugly. Interior ain’t the worst, I kinda like it a bit. GM is ahead of their game 1000x.
Giant wheels and narrow tires all in the name of mileage has gone too far. There's no "utility" in a SUV with those tires. Sheesh. But ok, I still love, I admit it.
Why no projector LED?GM has projector LED even on cheapest models. Not saying reflector is bad but in an expensive model such as this it should be projector.
You know Joe, YOU deserve a ton of credit for Zonking the low rear wiper placement that every SUV used to do. Now fast forward, it's so great to see the auto makers tucking the wiper up high under the rear roof spoiler. I can't even look at a new SUV that doesn't tuck the wiper up high. It's a Zonk and a Pass for me. Looks really lazy that the designers weren't listening to you. Great review as always. Probably going to pick up this Expedition Platinum or a Navigator in 2025. Have to do my homework in January at the Detroit Auto Show!!!!!!
You know I have tons of car channels I’m subscribed to so when a vehicle is released to the Media I see the same vehicle over and over in my feed but I always come to Raitis rides for a first look … really appreciate this channel
Looks nice, but it's surprising that this generation of the Expedition still only has heated second-row seats unlike the Navigator. But you forgot to zonk it! By the way, I feel like its steering wheel gives everyone a nostalgic 90's vibe because it reminds us of Ford's steering wheel from the 90's or early 2000's that can be found on Ford models that weren't sold in the United States, particularly in Europe and Latin America, like the OG Ford Ka.
Definitely copied GMC with those headlights. Also I think reflector headlights make it look cheap like why not have projector beams on the top model smh kind of disappointed in the new look. I was expecting more tbh
Also for the 90k price tag this will have it doesn’t even have rear cooled seats and no massage seats and no window shades. Absolutely insane and they copied BMW with the tailgate hahaha ford ran out of ideas it looks like
After watching your detailed 2025 Expedition review then Comparing it to the 2025 Yukon Denali. The Expedition is an easy choice. I'm not a fan of the Denali large grill front end styling. Ford did an outstanding Job redesigning the overall exterior lines while adding an amazing updated interior. The 2025 Yukon interior has been updated by but IMO. Still looks dated with a large vertical infotainment screen that resembles those currently used in current to 2023-2024 vehicles. I think Ford has finally built the Expedition that Wil be a hit for those wanting a full size SUV.
I was never happy with the look of the front of the vehicle. Always thinking, the F 150 front on this Expedition would be nice. But, I can totally go with this look. Good job. Thanks, Joe, for showing me.

100% I saw how high up the lower gate went on Joe and all I could think was “I’m going to tear up my shoulders just to put groceries in the back.” Don’t want to have to hit two buttons
No one mentioned the dilemma with the Ford badge... the Explorer and Expedition have the current/old badge which is Blue Oval and silver font, while the F-150 and Maverick have the White Font flat oval.
285/40/24’s. Those tires gonna last 40k miles at best and cost $2k to replace. First time the driver hits a curb and cracks a wheel, add another $500 for a new wheel. Also, low profile tires are often impossible to repair, so get the tire warranty. I bet an old buckboard stagecoach has a smoother ride. 😅
Ford hit a home run with this beauty !! Really good looking love the external styling, but the interior is gorgeous! This is the SUV that makes you want to drive cross country! 🇺🇸

WOW! Thank you, Joe and Lori, for a great preview! Ford really advanced the Expedition for 2025, very nice, very clean looking, with a lot of great new features and functionalities! Love the new wheel size and design too! I know you like the fact that the rear wiper was moved to the top of the rear glass, Joe, have to agree, why aren't they all located there! When will the 2025 model year be available for sale?

I hate that turn dial shifter lever. I'd rather have a traditional shifter lever on the dash or center console. I'm not really fan of the wood trim. Aside from those two things I think it's a beautiful vehicle. I like that color also. Good video as always Joe 👍🏻
Pretty decent redesign in my opinion. I remember years ago when the only way to get 24 inch wheels is to go aftermarket. Now, you can get 24 inch wheels as standard or as an option from the factory.
Beautiful design, but the negatives are no fog lights, door sill lights, full size dash panel, captains chairs in the 2nd row, giant panarama roof with mini rear moonroof would've been great like on the BMW X7.... The 24"wheels are excellent...!
Love your reviews as always, Joe. I have to say, no 110 home power outlet in the front seat like the F150s treat their customers to is a big zonk. The people in the front seat are the most important as they are the ones likely paying for the vehicle. Mom or dad should be able to plug their laptop in and work from the road if they want. The F-150 is the only vehicle in the world that gets this right.
