- Special thanks to@lincolnfor inviting me out to the Monterey Peninsula in Monterey County, California, for Pebble Beach to debut the all-new redesigned 2025 Lincoln Navigator! This might just be a @Cadillac Escalade killer!

The color alone exudes elegance.
@@t3dr1c23 *trash you meant cheap and trashy.
This is the best implementation of the Lincoln grille
I agree. This and the previous generation.
Ok, this is a gorgeous Navigator.
The Lincoln Navigator has NEVER looked better! This is a home run! First time it's ever looked better than the Escalade. This is really REALLY NICE!
Finally did something to the back. Good improvement, just wish it was better. Make the back look good, slightly improve the sides, and this thing wins
I agree the back of the Navi was always blah. It' an improvement.
I think the whole thing looks horrid. Especially the interior!
I grew up with Lincolns but they seem more intent on matching the cost of other luxury cars than delivering quality and rational upkeep expenses. I took my car in for work and know the owner who had a Navigator next to my car. I asked about the car and he laughed noting that the repair on the front bumper resulting from a fairly minor accident was around $10,000. This was the second conversation I had about massive repair costs for seemingly minor repairs. I avoided Land Rovers due to this issue and will avoid Navigators for the same reason. Paying over $100,000 is bad enough.
Just make sure you trade it in after the warranty ends, all this amazing technology looks like money..
What a disaster that they didn’t give it a V8. I love everything else but what’s the point of a V6 that’s still inefficient..?
Should get the 5.2L supercharged motor the Raptor R has.
@@CodeMoab yup. nothing less!!
I concur
If want to sound like an ass, I'd get a vehicle made for asses. If I buy a luxury SUV I don't want to hear something that begs for others attention.
If you drive this like you wish you had a screaming V8... you're an idiot or you stole it from your parents.
They put v6 now with turbos same thing really
Maybe I'm just getting old but $100k plus for a Navigator or Escalade (both tarted up base model trucks that start around $40k) just seems ridiculous. And guys, put the PRNDL handle back on the steering column please. Your "creativity" has crossed the line.
The Piano key PRND is much better than a shifter. It's not confusing like other vehicles.
Love it. I'm glad they tucked the rear wiper blade a way. That's one of the only reason I would not buy the Navigator it looked cheesy and cheap this looks very rich very classy well done Lincoln
Cops: Don't look at your phone while driving.
Lincoln: watch a waterfall on a giant screen while driving 😊
You can't do that while drive.
this is nice but escalade has a supercharged v8 trim. O yea and 750 hp escalade ev. Lincoln need to come harder.
Just another vehicle that will be worth half what you pay after three years.
Love the clam shell trunk door
Wow, no split headlights. Thumbs up for that. Wish there was an option to disable that lightbar but keep the Lincoln logo illuminated, that would look really sick
Cadillac Escalade is straight OG of large luxury SUVS.
@fazalm6009 the Navigator was introduced 2 years before the Escalade was even released, in with that being said, The Navigator is the 1st on the scene and the original large suv.
The navigator was the one that started the "luxury full size SUV" segment. They came out with this before the eslcalade existed, Cadillac built the escalade to compete with lincoln's navigator
@@chill-pill923 Ok so your logic is I was born before you hence I'm the best??
@@chill-pill923 Starting and ruling, two different things..
@@fazalm6009 I know, but you said that the Escalade is the og. When comparing this to the navigator, technically it’s the og since it was made before the Escalade. This doesn’t mean the navigator is better, I’m just saying that it’s the og more than the escalade
The only thing missing on the front of the new Navigator in my opinion is the driving lights or fog lights. I've always liked cars with fog lights or driving lights
I’m fog light guy also I hate they are making vehicles without them now 🤦🏾♂️🫣
Cadillac Escalade is the Standard for full size luxury SUV's. The facts substantiate that
You forgot the Nautilus dude!!
Same thing I said! It’s got more nautilus resemblances than the other 2
OOOO MY GOD, how dare he...😆
@@jonelltejada9536yep, Navigator and Nautilus have always looked the same (albeit the size difference) while the Corsair and Aviator look the same. Especially, the new Aviator doesn’t have the big screen up front, while Nautilus does. Looks like they decided to experiment with the Nautilus to have room for improvement on the Navigator.
Escalade does look better, but negligibly so, imo. Both are beautiful.
Thank you for that great review! I definitely have to see this in person.
Such a elegant car. It is gorgeous, love the split tailgate.
The 2025 with the new grill/header design reminds me of gen 1 and early gen 3. I watched a different vid on this yesterday and said something similar in the comments. It dawned on me what it is that makes me think of gen 1 with the 2025 and it's those narrow, slightly angled, squinty headlights. I absolutely love that squinty I'm judging you/stinkeye look with those headlights on the Navigator and that big chrome Lincoln trademark grill in the center. When gen 2 made those headlights taller/wider and changed the angle and size of the grill it killed it for me. I'd take a gen 2 if I had never seen a gen 1 though. 😂 I adore my 99 4x4 (not a super common feature for 1st gen) Navigator and though it's so primitive with comfort options and interior design/options compared to this gen 5 it's still an awesome ride. 👍👍🥰🥰
Oh!! And OMG the tailgate on the gen 5 is great. My first 'SUV' was a 92 Blazer and I loved the tailgate. It was great as a seat/ a table, or to have down for hauling long stuff and it was something I really missed about the back end design on my Navigator. So nice to finally see that on the Navigator. I mean I get it, the liftgate is more elegant but sometimes functionality has to take presidence. Nice job.👍
Designers should be fired
Nah they took the best design cues from Range Rover, Volvo, Mazda, Lexus, VW, etc and melded it into this American barge goodness
@@samsonchan1488 nah. From the front quarter, it looks like a schoolbus. And the rear looks like some old ugly 1970’s throwback
I don't like the color but the vehicle itself is very beautiful and very well executed. Job well done Lincoln 💯
WTF? Rejuvenate mode? You gotta be kidding?!
Whoever Told You To Use The Eyeliner Need To Be Fired 🔥🔥ASAp.You Will Be Painting Your Nails Next Man

Just your boy J.D. Vance...lol!!🤣🤣
This truck will become an electrical nightmare.
All cars these days.... Just get over it.
@@Scott-px6mi Remember that when you get that high azz bill.. just pay it and get over it.
Just don't try driving into flooded streets.
Every brand has electrical issues. If you have a Navi and you have problems, then ITS YOU, not the entire lineup.
Y’all realize how suddenly NOBODY is complaining about 24-inch wheels being ridiculously stupid and how they make absolutely zero sense for any vehicle? When *gm* did it people had nothing but negative things to say. Ford does it and it looks great. 🤷🏽♂️
Yeah that's because GM is ass
Ford and GM was putting big rims on at the same time bro. Where the hell you been?
@@BruceDragon-sf1tr boy stop lying. Of course that’s the narrative y’all will now try to push to the masses but it’s false. Y’all will also claim Lincoln designed this interior at the same time Cadillac did and therefore it’s their own styling but we know that not to be true either. This is a watered down Cadillac esque interior and the vehicle had Cadillac design cues all over its exterior now, including the massive stock 24-inch wheels that many were just claiming were absolutely stupid.
@G-Rated go take your medicine. You're so caught up on being a fan that you don't want to know the truth. It's all over TH-cam the proof. Every car review it's the same fool. The Lincoln is faster, more powerful, more reliable, better quality. These people on TH-cam that does These reviews are not lying. Hell go test drive that Navigator, you'll see for yourself
@@BruceDragon-sf1tr Did you take your medicine bro? When has Lincoln been more reliable and of better build quality than Cadillac? NEVER, and they certainly aren’t today with all their recalls and Aviator buybacks. You Ford fanboys will say anything and are pathetic.
It's the first time viewing your content, I like.. it's crisp, clear...right to the meat and potatoes🥳🎊🎉🍾
Pass on some feedback. If you have to road trip, ask the designer to sit in all the seats and try to relax, where do your arms rest, how do you lean, can you prop yourself against anything? I know that shouldnt be main focus but almost all designs overlook it. Also, that big dash maybe consider snacking or eating. Again super overlooked behavior that cars see daily especially families on the go. Like a kitchen in a house is the highlight, what are the highlights for cars. Comfort and eating are big.
It should have a hybrid 5.0 V8 as the highest trim or small twin turbo coyote like Mercedes does
You should have never changed your marketing campaign with Matthew McConaughey to begin with🤷🏻♂️ glad he's back for your brand 👌🏼
24 speakers 🔊 and 24” inch wheels 😳 I want one 😂
Friend has 2024 Navigator and has electrical issues. So they are in the process of lemon law litigation
Have a buddy with same prob ! Law suit coming ! Fix or repair daily as they say !
@@craigroosa9321Ford bakwards is "Driver returns on foot."
Great video. Only 2 things that I didn't get to see were how to change the scent cartridges and if the opening mechanism for the rear window only is still the same as the 2024 Navigator (not the entire tailgate - just the window portion for putting groceries).
I love it. There's nothing not to like about it.
Just saw a video for a F-150 King Ranch and it's seats are way more luxurious.
It's very nice but it should've had a supercharger in it..... a Shelby 500 motor would've been excellent...etc
Under Joy Falotico, the former president of Lincoln, the brand has absolutely refused to compete with Cadillac in the performance category, instead leaning into the focus of Lincoln producing land yacht SUVs and crossovers.
I’m not in love with the dash, but the rest of the Navigator looks gorgeous!
We loved our '21 Aviator. Pros: unreal Revel audio, plenty of power, comfortable except the seat bottom bolsters were hard and hurt my leg on longer trips. Cons: body panels falling off, especially the b-piller trim. The transmission needed replacing at 9500 miles(the Navigator shares that same drivetrain), and I worried about the push-button door openers as only the driver's seat had a manual release in case of electrical failure. We rented a Navigator for a long trip and the seats are wider so I don't think that seat bolster will be an issue. If you buy one pay the money for that Revel audio, you won't regret it!
I'm glad that this redesign turned out great, unlike whatever the GM engineers were thinking with their escelade refresh
The Escalade looks a million times better, for both exterior and interior.
@@taliagoodwomanmann interiors are about the same but the exteriors are very different
This looks like a classic half-ass Lincoln mid cycle refresh.
@@taliagoodwomanmannyou smoking crack or something. Go test drive that Lincoln navigator, I bet money you change your mind
@@ddz_7628 2025 Escalade’s interior blows this Black Label interior away! There’s no real comparison there.
I like the symmetrical dashboard. I hope that will make it a lot easier for right-hand drive conversions to be done. Ford won't make an extended Everest so this will do.
THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL CAR. I LOVE IT. NICE VIDEO.
The more I see all this junk on new vehicles makes me want to resurrect an older car from the junkyard. These vehicles nowadays have no soul. The laws want us to not be distracted from driving yet all this crap and electronics in cars is more of a distraction than ever before. This world has gone crazy AF
Tire blow outs on those over pot holes are hilarious. Bent wheel and shredded tire.
Kinda makes me happy that I’m poor
Never say that.
Amen!

THANKS FOR AN INSIGHTFUL & INFORMATIVE VIDEO REVIEW ON THIS STUNNING & DROP DEAD GORGEOUS 2025 Lincoln Navigator. Entertaining too, I loved it. You did a masterful professional review, quite honest in your explaining the pros & cons of this new version of the Navigator, I will buy one.
The pushed back horizontal dash infotainment/instrument panel screen is no flush with the dash and placed in a way that will cause a distraction to the driver. That should not have left the design phase. On the contrary, the Cadillac Escalade did it beautifully.
Yes yes yes!! Display pillar to pillar is amazing!!!
too far away from driver and the sun glare will do a number on it
It’s an exact copy from the Nautilus. Nautilus and Navigator have always had similar design characteristics, while the Corsair and Aviator have always looked similar to each other.
No V8 = loss. The Navigator needs a V8 to be competitive.
Why?
@@HeyMavDak because everything else at this price point has at least a V8 option.
You obviously haven't had a ford twin turbo 6). The Jap V-8 won't touch this)
After owning a V8 Chevy engine- (with less power and torque) I prefer a turbo 6 Ford no Question- but I realize the Mongoloids in the world ONLY care about displacement.
Especially with the leading Escalade having the 6.2
Love the new design. Happy 2019 owner here and the only two things I wish they changed on mine was all chrome on the exterior and all the gloss black on the interior. It’s a nightmare to keep clean. This new model addresses that!
Do more auto vehicles they are great I follow along of the biggest car enthusiasts and your video was awesome thank you
FINALLY...they hid that gawd awful rear window wiper! Like all the other Navigator designs, I don't like the high-ish dashboard design that limits your view of the hood and front end. The Escalade gives you a commanding view of both where this really doesn't.
Great review - good job. You made me want to buy one
Cadillac has speakers in the headrest, tables in the rear passenger area and automatic close doors
Thats going to give Cadillac the win
Even the new QX80 has speakers in the headrests
Yes but cadillac nor the infinit has a split folding tailgate, which will draw a lot of people to the navigator because of this.
@@chill-pill923
Thats not a luxury feature
@@joecool9739 The Escalade also has a refrigerated box in the front center console, along with far superior semi autonomous hands-free driving technology (Super Cruise). Those power doors are for both opening & closing as well.
@@joecool9739 Well Range Rover has that so that must tell you something that it’s considered a luxury feature.
@@chill-pill923
Whats inherently luxurious about having that feature?
Well…you started off good then you made a remark about the elephant in the room…cheap shot because the New Escalade’s grill is killer. I didn’t expect you to be so Lincoln bias, I thought you were just a guy with a better voice talking about the car. They ripped off the Range Rover’s design. I want to assume you’re a car guy and you should know the Escalade is riding on 24” wheels also. That new info screen on the dash is nice, but the Escalade has on too!!! A whole 55” screen compared to the Navigator’s 48” and the Escalade is the sales leader over every manufacturer!!!
Oh, I forgot to mention the BMW rear tailgate. Is there anything original to Ford or Lincoln in the new Navigator?
And it's weird to me Lincoln chose a big grille along with thin horizontal headlights. Reminds me a lot of the current Escalade 🤔
Spot on
@@JonIconicI disagree with the headlights. Lincoln’s has pretty much always had horizontal headlights (check their outgoing model). If anything, Cadillac has adopted this after Lincoln. Cadillac had stacked headlights for a while! Everything else is pretty subjective.
@@JonIconicI own a 2024 Escalade and I thought the same thing about the headlights. As soon as I saw it, I was like… those are my Escalades headlights!
@@QBrown99lincoln did it first gm fanboys will always say difderent.
Well its about time Lincoln Navigator start stepping up its game. Let just hope Ford can figure out how to manage their transmission issues they normally have.
With the exception of the display screen, Lincoln really dailed back the fanciness of the current Navigator. This feels very plain jane.
That is one epically gorgeous Navigator!! What color is that?!!!! That 48" screen is also gorgeous!!!! I'm absolutely impressed!!!!!
An ICE vehicle hitting $100K is a gamble with so many EVs in that range with equal dressing that have more power, way cheaper to operate without gas and maintenance reduced to wiper fluid and tires.
Seats should be thicker - double.. remove the black plastic behind
@koc63695 Why, when those are the softest seats in the full-size game
@@ricbrown5002 not soft
The plastic behind the seats are animatronics for the 30 way massaging seats... the seats have those plastic things on the back because they have massaging features built in.
Why would you show an older model Escalade as a comparison?
That steering wheel is not very attractive. But I love those wheels.
No the caddy started that trend not the Lincoln and you car guys knows it. But what can you expect from a guy with a ford shirt on. Btw the wheels ans screen is hideous af
The problem with Lincoln and Ford is that they pack a lot of tech into their vehicles, but the software is poorly designed and it’s often riddled with bugs. I know personally from experience.
@15:33 “Starting at $100,000”??? The 2024 model black label already starts at $111,000. I don’t think they’re going backwards on the prices.
What is the color called? Love it

Will look dated in two years ! Sorry !
Buttons are better than screens
I wonder .... if your dog is in the car... and it walks on the drive, reverse, or natural buttons...😮
The Escalade still looks more aggressive and lean overall
More aggressive doesn't equal better looking.. Everybody don't want a mean looking car.
Kinda looks like a range rover😮
Really ?? Ah no ! Too much bling to be a RR .
@@craigroosa9321 Well yes but the front end looks a lot like the new range rovers
First question: how bad are the crash test going to be?because NHTSA just tested the navigator and the results were possibly fatal.
Upon reading other outlets, they state the sheet metal/chassis is a carry-over. Not "rebuilt from the ground-up".
I wish they left the seat controls on the door
Really like the neat lines.
This is very sexy, the Escalade is bolder, and the new QX80 is right in the middle.
Nice truck but I prefer the Escalade.
Doesn’t necessarily need a VA it just needs to make more horsepower
Wow, the JETSONS on ground. Wish I were 30 years younger and tech wise, (and still making $$$$).
That color looks like melted and slightly mixed Neapolitan ice cream 😬.
Love the overall design and interior though!
ESCALADE STILL THE KING
The Lincoln MKT was first with the slope roof for Lincoln. I loved it and replaced it with the Aviator!
The Escalade looks better in my opinion but this comes in at a close second
That QX80 is my second, Cadillac 1st
Great video ! Thank you…
Greetings from oakville Ontario Canada home of the ford motor company thanks for the presentation
Navigator engineering should have had more of a visual endeavor effect, 100,000+ vehicle "NO DOOR HANDLES"
It’s pink!
No, the Pink is a reflection if you look to the right side of the Video Board!
It’s the 2024 Nautilus , not the Aviator, that the 2025 Navigator the resembles , both the Exterior and the Interior.
Escalade is a better choice but I guess it’s a matter of opinion
Both the Escalade and the Navigator are nice, but this new Stankin Lancoln has got it! Those new features and elegance are nice. I like the sloped rear too. That double rear hatch is nice. I would love to see it in different colors, but I think all black will be the one. Great job Ford and Gooooooo LIONS!
Oh my God, what a nice looking vehicle. It's a good thing that they will all be leased cars, as no normal person could afford it. Can you see the problems with all that electronic gizmos. Not for me.. today's cars are way too complicated.
You forgot all about the Nautilus which was the impetus for all of this change.
So your kids can just move your front seats at will from the back? I remember my parents Ford Aerostar had rear radio controls and eventually my dad had to disconnect it.
no night vision camera and no built in fridge .........I`ll take the Caddy !!!
Those wheels are ridiculous. Looks like they cloned a Hot Wheel.
Yeah for adults
24” inch wheels huh 🤔 I like 👍🏾
They could have done more with the lighting in front and rear. A vehicle of this size needs a wow feature from the exterior.
What color is that?
