This is still the new standard for Jazz Fusion compositions along with maybe Lingus. The first time I heard them play this live in 2014, they had just gotten out of the studio where they composed it just a week or two earlier. Evan, the Trumpet player, told me that Caleb had written a new tune that was something special, and he had this kind of evil grin as if he knew this tune was the real deal. Well, needless to say, hearing this performed live for the first time was like going on a rollercoaster. Incredible adrenaline, complexity, joy, determination, odd meters, all of it at once. Amazing!
Like the long lost sibling to Lingus, and the same as Lingus is one of the GOAT... wow what an epic jam to spread on my morning toast. Nutritious and delicious +++
Them boys go for blood EACH AND EVERY TIME. OAN I swear on Wes’s solo during that minute plus you can just sit back and close your eyes with a subtle stank face 🔥🔥🔥
that dude on percussion kinda looks like Cory Henry. Thought it was Cory for sure on that first shot where he was grinning at the camera lol. And, of course, awesome track!!
6:06 min you guys are CRAZY!!!! Really good bounding with each other, really good music. Awsome job with the precussions too! Please share more of this in Portugal! Really we are sick of spanish reggaeton in our radios......
dylan foley bro Corey Henry isn’t and will never be white. That’s just one to name, of many others than played in the band. Get yah facts right on who been in the band
@dylan foley Snarky is a great band. it's like saying Djent is just watered down metal. it is its own thing which pushes boundaries which people like my self like the sound of them being pushed
dylan foley I’ll be real, I agree with half of the statement. We can’t take away the musical prowess that snarky owns. Every band takes their musical influences and uses it to make their own “flavour” of music. These guys are just carrying on what we know as jazz..
Wish you guys were playing at GroundUp Music Festival on Friday also, almost bought the tickets for Saturday aswell just to see you. This is great stuff!

God there's so much talent out there.

Wes is just a monster bassist, discovered him playing with Mark Lettieri.
Like the long lost sibling to Lingus, and the same as Lingus is one of the GOAT... wow what an epic jam to spread on my morning toast. Nutritious and delicious +++

GREAT recording. GREAT performance. One of the best videos on the GroundUPmusicNYC channel. Instant classic.
What a groove. I swear I heard the ghost of George Duke, especially making that Nord patch bark around 3:40. Well done all around gentlemen!
Them boys go for blood EACH AND EVERY TIME. OAN I swear on Wes’s solo during that minute plus you can just sit back and close your eyes with a subtle stank face 🔥🔥🔥

Snarky's way bigger, and a lot of there stuff is recorded in front of a live audience
