I don't know if this is true but I read that Toei had been hacked. Someone got into the company network so a lot of things are on hold for them to sort out the issue. Naoko has no control over the release of the movies, she's just there to make sure they adapt it closely to the manga as possible. It's Toei that say when to release it and if the hacking is true then we have to wait and hopefully they get everything sorted out soon.
I don’t care about TOEI being hacked they deserve it, they don’t care about other countries not getting a home video release so why should I or anyone else care about how things are going with them
@@PhilCollectibles I don't care either but that's probably the reason for the delay. Also the dvds are the blu ray version and not a single animation error was fixed from the cinema release. It didn't spoil my enjoyment of the film since it's a few and most of them are can easily go unnoticed unless you slow the the movie and pay close attention. I don't expect them to fix every error but at least the obvious ones but nope. It's irritating but it is what it is, Toei isn't a good company and treats their workers like crap this isn't something new just more noticeable as the years go by.
The first Blu Ray cover art were Galaxia above is holding a Star Seed with Eternal Sailor Moon, Kakyuu and the Sailor Starlights is like the Avengers Infinity War poster were Thanos above holding the Infinity Gauntlet with the Avengers and the second Blu Ray cover art were Galaxia shown above with Eternal Sailor Moon and her Sailor Guardians is just like the Avengers Endgame poster were thanos shown above with Avengers.
Is there a DVD (non Blu-ray) version i can find? I pretty much have the entirety of Sailor Moon on bootlegged DVDs; i just dont have Eternal pt1&2 and Cosmos pt1&2.
I have the official dvd. I was debating whether or not to get the bootlegs for the subtitles since I do have the official version now that I know they are not the greatest I’m saving money thanks
And, personnaly, I think that Naoko have freaky enought to do with his husband and his chanseling health, additioned to their two child to look after; without having to run behinde the Toei for the mess they are doing with Crystal serie releastes, and all the shitt they do from the conditions they surly impose to the protocol of the contract they signe (or make her signe the same...) and bond with Mrs. Takeuch. This was clearly one of the key why, why she would not ongoing to work with them for the 5th saison of the initial 90s anime, or for another better adaptation redo after that. And back at this time, they literaly forced her to stay and still work with them until the end of the 5th arc, cause ftom the contracts condition. She spend exactly 5 year after, in law battles to get her right back out of the contract, and wonld not work with them any more, for any work and in any way, after that. The only raison she have accepted for the Crystal remake is that they promess into the close contracts closes that they will addapte the story as it is in the manga exactly, and not beeing change in any way, or details, and accesorily that she personnaly knew the very first responcible for the projct as the Crystal addaptation, and thought she could trust him for respecting both of her works and the exacte adaptation of the story telling scenario that she wanted to be on. And, I'm also pretty sure she avec exactly not power on the shit the Toei is acctualy doing with the film relase and, by extention, on the all sailor moon googies stuff all around. Into the film making process, yes, but in the relasing and the marchandising of the goodies, nop. And to know how Toei usualy works on their contracs closes, if she only arg for it, they will probably juste slam the door of the technical bureau at her face, I think. And worst, I think that the relase problems and mess does not interest her at all anymore (it could have been in the firt, in the 90s, cause it was the first adaptation of her new (at thoses times...) of her work, and she was concerned directly in seeng how the addaptation of it and how it collected by the public. But not anymore 30 years later, by ourtimes.) The only think she wanted was that the storytelling respect especialy the perfert ditails of the manga senario, and she just got it as well. And that's probably berly enought for her about it.🤔 I think it's clearly a bit hard to charge it on her head too, insted of this is Toei making mess regarding the reales and marchandising aroud the franchise it-self, their all alone...😅😅😅😅😅😑😑😑😑

Bootlegs are fakes. I have the official blu-ray. It comes with one disc containing both films on it so the disc didn’t need changed. It also costs a lot more. (I speak Japanese not perfectly but wanted to watch it so bad).
