Usyk is nothing special at heavyweight, I saw small Ordinary man and last night and he failed to make a statement on the heavyweight division. He looked trouble by Del Boy and he has no chance of beat Aj or any or the other top heavyweights. Once again the power just isn’t there either and he can’t fight going backwards like loma. So as soon as he fights someone that backs him up he done. He another hype job.
Don’t forget to come back here when Usyk will become an undisputed world champion!

Not sure why there's so many negative comments regarding Usyk, it was a total master class remember he's only warning up on the division so I guess we'll have to wait and see.
Yeah I don’t think he was ever in trouble and looked could have finished it if pushed pace but was being cautious - plus sounds like he feels he was suffering from ring rust and will be lot better next right now had the 12 rds
Casuals just think that because Usyk didnt knock him out in the first round hes a bum with no power
He's very intelligent and has more dimensions to his perception of his own situation than many of the people who interview him, it's funny really. He recognises his weight and size disadvantage and is looking to increase his exposure to the effects of those and other things, whilst developing to meet the defecit. A work in progress, we will have to watch.....interesting indeed.

everyone is so quick to say AJ will beat USYK, give the man his props. He unified the cruiserweights, got Olympic gold, the Mohamed Ali trophy, took the fight against Chisora even tho he didn't have to, risking his mandatory position just to test himself. Hear me now, this man is gonna upset the division don't sleep on USYK.
I am not sure that AJ will beat this guy but I think that Furys size and skill will be difficult for him to overcome. Also I am not sure where AJ is mentally right now. Mike Tyson was never the same after his shock loss to Buster Douglas. It will interesting to see how AJ gets on in his next outing.

@@TheMha123 tbf mate alot has changed in the last 10 months. I was saying usyk would beat AJ on a decision all leading up to last nights fight. I wasn't particularly praising usyk but it was obvious he's the better fighter technically than AJ. He still wouldn't stand a chance with fury but last night clearly showed how bad technically AJ is. Hes a power puncher who didn't want to throw power punches last night. But fair play to him I wasn't wrong about my prediction last night so that's what matters not what I thought 10 months ago

Then why was he tagged by significant strikes in every single round against the slowest puncher in the division? Having good footwork usually means you don't get hit, especially in the heavies. See Tyson Fury for actual good footwork.

And last but not least minimise the padding in chisoras gloves to try to cause maximum damage to Usyk's face with roughhouse tactics!🤔😠😣😡

Usyk is a great technical fighter & got the skills. I became a fan of him today, took a risk & succeeded. I honestly think fury, Joshua & Usyk can beat each other. Fury & Usyk got superior skills while AJ got the power & some decent boxing skills.
Usyk has zero power at HW. He landed cleanly on Chisora in every round and couldn't put him away. He also took far too many shots from a guy who moves in slow motion.
Fury is just too big for him, reach , size, weight we seen what fury does to 15stone men last wilder fight

Great to see the amount of respect being shown to Usyk here, he has earned it. He is a wizard in the ring and honest, humble, genuine and a great character outside it. This was a massive test for him, which is just what he needed. If he can carry the weight without slowing down, I think he could use another stone before moving up to the next level (he hinted himself at the weigh in that ideally he would like to have been heavier for this fight.) His movement, ringcraft, speed and accuracy are beyond doubt, and he lands a lot of clean punches but he could use some extra power to rick the big heavyweights.

for his first real test at HW, im not convinced. DC won more rounds than anyone expected, many people think it was far closer than the judges had it and the judges were inconsistent them selves.
A win is a win, but this doesn't give me much confidence that he has a chance in hell of becoming a world champion while AJ and fury hold the belts. sure, he jabbed his way to victory and it was a decent boxing display...but against a big HW whos a boxer, not a brawler like DC i dont think he stands a chance.
really nice guy, HW is where the money is so who can blame him, but he wasn't convincing enough for me personally to think he worries the elites. i think he should fight parker or ruiz next. good test, both good boxers while also being winable fights. if he can get a good win over ether, then a chance at a belt could be warranted. Mandatory or not, he doesnt deserve a title shot yet.
8-4 is generous for Chisora, I had it 9-3... Almost all of chisora's "amazing body work" were illegal low blows, arm, shoulder and back shots or they were blocked. He barely landed anything clean all night
He might had hard time winning this one. But others might cant handle his style like DC did. Different fighters different game plan..

Usyk's too small with too little power. He was ineffective against a fellow midget. What's he going to do when he's giving away 40lbs in weight, 6 inches in reach and 3-6 inches in height? The big guys will walk right through his punches and snuff him out.
Never believed he would touch the elite heavys and still don't. They're too heavy, too big, hit too hard and they're a lot better than Chisora. Plus he will never have favorable judges on his side. Look at the Bellew scorecards and even tonights.
Chisora gave him a lot of trouble when he had stamina, I think AJ, Fury, Wilder, Whyte, Ruiz, Povetkin and Parker give Usyk massive problems, most of them hit harder and have far better boxing technique, Usyk looks shooked a bit
completely agree. first 4 rounds were all DC for me. usyk barely threw anything. unfortunately, he's a big man, asking him to go at that pace for 12 wasn't ever going to happen. AJ, fury, parker, ruiz perhaps whyte would beat this lad tonight. he was average. nothing convincing to tell me he could deal with a man with a 3 inch reach advantage, speed stamina and decent footwork.
DC was never expected to win this fight if it went to the cards, but it was far closer than it should have been. the judges cards were a joke, inconsistent and harsh. id have given derek 4 rounds for sure, perhaps 5. but....his gas tank let him down unfortunately. aj or fury would have no trouble with the usyk we saw tonight.
